Factual hero 1: H.G. Wells. I was hooked while reading the book 'The Time Machine'. Factual Hero 2: J.R.R.Tolkien. Lord of the rings. The books were amazing. I just wish I had read them before seeing the film. Fictional Hero: Yoshi - The only video game character to fill over 80% of my gaming time. Not even the might of Halo compares.

Master Cheif if he wasn't so souped up. Batman if they cancelled his new show ( movie good, but come on people the pointy things on his head are longer! ). Superman if they show his old 90's show. Yoshi if they find a suitable voice actor. And my dad for letting me drink Smirnof on a camping trip.

Hiroshi Yamauchi- I think he'll be the only Japanese I have true respect for. He's the one that came up with Nintendo.

Jim Cantore, Mike Bettes, and everyone else from the Weather Channel who are brave enough to report live coverage of observations smack in the middle of a Category 4 hurricane.

Sorry to correct you but that honour goes to Fusajiro Yamauchi. He founded Nintendo back in 1889. He is Hiroshi Yamauchi's Great Great Grandfather. Hiroshi was Nintendo's 3rd president but easily the most important and influential. He made the company what it is now so you're quite right to credit him with such an appretiation. He just didn't create Nintendo as a company. I don't really think I've ever really looked up to anyone or anything in such a way as to call them a hero. Just not the kind of thing I've really given any thought to I guess.

I don't know who my hero is...I guess it's Yoshi...my first ever video game-character...fell in love at first sight. But a hero hero aside from yoshi? I'm not sure who else I could worship...and already I feel less attached to yoshi than before. So if I were to pick another hero... ... .......... ................. ........................... HECK WITH IT!! I'm making my own hero

Rosa Parks- Even though I'm "white", I've agreed with everything she fought for, I always envied her stubborness to give up her bus seat. And now that she's no longer with us, I think I've realized that she is one of my heroes.
Another one, dang I feel so oblidged to say that, and I know I've said it before, but after the dream I just had, this must be said, because I feel terrible dreaming what I did. This hero is Contention of these forums, I've explained many times to you why you are one, but for everyone else... He has awesome poetry, he is one of the best people you could know, he is a great artist, being away from him (MSN is screwed up) is just torture, and that's just a tip of the iceberg.
A rather new one, I've actually started looking up to this person, and I'm also terribly worried, but I know he will be fine. Joshi, he is becoming another of my heroes, after I find out he's alright, I'm going to be overjoyed, and he will be a hero. Not just because he's a great person, but because he can brave a storm like that, and still be here.
EDIT: He made it, he's here, I'm talking to him right now. Joshi is indeed, a hero.
