I'm actually quite proud of my Yoshi fan...ness. Everybody knows I'm pretty obsessed, and most of the time they refer to me as just "Yoshi" than my real name. I kind of like it, and they're all cool about it. I haven't actually found anything negative so far about going around people liking Yoshi. And that's because everybody loves Yoshi . ... Well, so I haven't exactly ran into somebody who's anti-Yoshi. I don't wish to be ignorant, but I can only imagine and mostly know there are people like that out there.

You're making me feel attacked... And by the way, I was planning on keeping that scientifical explanation to myself. I never said I was going to add it to my site. I won't add it. I once met someone who did receive such insultive comments because he used to tell everyone. I guess his life turned into a hell because of that.

As you wish. And sorry if you feel that you're being attacked. I didn't really mean it that way. But what I was trying to say is that if you were going to release your scientific discription, there can be things I would not agree with. And I retract my statement earlier, I shouldn't judge you for your work, but only toward your work. My apologies. I could've sworn I had justifications, but I just proved to myself that they were only false. For example, you shouldn't call people stupid for what they've done, but you can say it was a stupid thing that they did. Again, I wasn't thinking.
Well, I tend not to go overboard with my Yoshi...ness. I never role play with anybody involving Yoshi, let alone, talk about him at all to somebody in real life OR online. I let people figure it out for themselves that I'm a total Yoshi fan. For example, people would suspect me while making a bunch of Yoshi things in ceramics class or I would draw some stuff during math, but never really show it off (mostly because it isn't that great, anyway). At times, people would go, "What's with you and Yoshi?" But they have respect for my afterwards, which I find pretty surprising and relieving.

In 1st world countries (like the United States) the level of respect between persons is very high. This is not so on 3rd world countries. At least that's what I've observed.

Back to the whole Yoshi identity issue. I myself like to keep my Yoshiness a secret. Lots of people like Yoshi, in fact, I overheard two people in my class say, "Yeah, Yoshi's cool." I felt like joining in but that would be eavesdropping, besides I had my own work to finish. I didn't belive there were people who liked Yoshi as well. I thought, if people thought I was a big Yoshi fan, they would think I'm a weird fanatic. Either way, I really don't care much what people think of me, because I know my best of friends are always there to support me. Yes, you best friends and the best friends I see everyday at school. They're the best friends anyone can ask for. By the way, thanks for that scientifical explanation for Yoshi's eggs, Soul. I really dislike the way Nintendo creates and reforms their characters. It's darn right disgraceful. Like Bowser would say, "Ameteur." Dispite the moronic, senseless changes, I will always like Yoshi no matter what. There is nothing Nintendo can do to change Yoshi in a BIG way (such as making him evil or violent) at least from my opinion. And even if one day, they do, I would like him for the innocent creature he was, but not is. Nintendo has to make up their mind sometime. I'm beginning to doubt their talents. And for Mailtroid, no matter what you say to Yoshiken, you'll just keep encouraging him to do more things and become crazier!

No, just kidding. Wow! A lot of multiple posts, there. Along with Yoshi changing, I was a bit upset at how they changed the roles of some of their characters. Back with Super Mario Bros. (Yes, I'm dating myself), Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World, Mario and Luigi were pretty much equals in the adventure. (In SMB, each had their own adventure, while in SMB3 & SMW, they worked together as a team). More recently, Mario's been going solo — there's just no room for the "# 2" player, meaning no Luigi.

I never noticed that Joshi made multiple post until i got finished reading the 5th one! Anywhoo. Yeah why is Mario going solo. I mean Mario just isnt Mario without his brother (or boshi for that matter)

I mean Mario just isnt Mario without his brother (or boshi for that matter) Thankfully, Some more recent games have been incorporating Luigi a bit more (Super Star Saga, a little bit with Paper Mario), and also Luigi got his first title of his own, althought I don't think it was all that great. But still, the games are all one player. In the past, Nintendo meant something. It was "power"* for the whole family! *Reference to the old slogan: " Now you're playing with power!"

Yeah, Luigi's cool.
What else to address... It's true that Nintendo doesn't care about continuity. At times this gets annoying, but it does give fans room to make theories. I've heard some pretty interesting explanations concerning the workings of Yoshi, and I'd love to hear yours, Soul. And I have actually heard a pretty good theory about why the Mario Bros. and Bowser get along for golf and tennis and kart racing, but I won't go into that here. Maybe later.
My close friends understand that I'm a "Yoshi freak", so to speak, as does anybody who's played enough Mario games with me. I've never shown anybody in real life any Yoshi art, however.

To Nintendo's credit (or Miyamoto's), I like the way they handled the prequel that is Yoshi's Island to Super Mario World. Bowser kidnapped Yoshi's friends. Now, why would he do a thing like that? Well, back to the past, we see Yoshi's battle with Baby Bowser. At first (while Bowser is still a baby in size), If he lands on Yoshi's back, he has a good ol' time riding him. So, that means that Bowser's kidnapping was either for revenge or to make up for that loss he experienced as a child, wanting to hoard them all.

I've heard some pretty interesting explanations concerning the workings of Yoshi, and I'd love to hear yours, Soul. Wow Fifth, I thought no one wanted to hear such a thing except me. Then I guess I'll re-add this to my 'to do' list. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Of course, this will be just for fun and not to be taken seriously... Here's my proposed scientific classification & scientific name for Yoshi (note: the last two entries are the only ones that I made up, the rest are real): Kingdom: AnimaliaPhylum: ChordataClass: ReptiliaOrder: SquamataSub-order: SauriaFamily: YoshidaeName: Yoshisaurus nobilis ;D

Hehehe, I really like that name Yoshidae for some reason. It just sounds so cool. Reminds me of 9th grade when I took biology class and I learned about those names. Keep it up, Mr. Soul .

Sorry about the identical posts. There was an error with the forum. Anyway, I find it strange that Nintendo went from always sticking to their storyline, to down right coloring out of the lines. Basically, the message Nintendo is trying to give us is that Yoshi is the companion of the Mario Bros. who has an extraordinary ability of egg laying and bombing. So far, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga was the last RPG adventure game Nintendo has created. Afterwards, they stuck to the sport Mario games. I miss the adventures games. They were very entertaining and addictive. I like your made-up Yoshi species Soul, I haven't studied Biology yet so I won't understand the real ones. I hope to see more Yoshi facts soon!
