It has nothing to do with the state of the listed files on the Yoshilore site.
I strongly suggest that whatever was happening there find its way to PM/IM or email only and this topic be kept strictly about the files.

Don't want to sound mean or bossy, but I don't want this topic, which has been surprisingly well behaved for its nature, come apart into an actual witch hunt.

Dragon want's all this to end as quickly as possible, That's why he faked a guest. Each time I see debating in here, it makes me think wether I should be at either one of these forums, forum's where the people most important are waiting to take a chunk out of each other. Yes, What YY did do was a disgrace and YY, you must delete the files stated in: yoshi.2yr.net/stolen.htm.

This is a complete must even though you may think that you will lose alot of traffic by doing so.

Nintendo do extremely high res versions of all pictures at a price. for that, you'd have to contact N(The Admin of The Yoshi Forum Network) as I wasn't aware of it until he said it to me but, you CAN stick Yoshi Lore's logo on them, legally. That's why they cost as the money is granting you a legal license to use them for whatever need you want and if you're not interested in paying for images, heck, i'll do some searching around to help you out if you wish.

And I will e-mail the owner of the work before helping myself. I know the usual routine as I do it all the time for my site and in return, I link back to their site, give credit and let them have advertising space on a weekly rota. (When I get a domain that is...)

Of course it turned out to be worse. What you're trying to do is to hopelessly make others think that you didn't do what you did, all because you don't want to accept your guilt. I've met a couple people like you before, and I know what they are like: They will NEVER accept that they made a mistake, no matter what. It is as if the world would end if they did. And I hate people that do this because they are complete cowards.

Also, BryUK,those emails are from May, but he did NOT tell me to remove the files until mid-August.

At last, you finally say something that is true. Although I would like to add, that the date in which I sent you the first email ordering you to remove my files (August 12) does fall within the first half of August. But even this way, this has lasted for well over a month. Isn't that enough time for you?

You still originally took them without permission anyway. I remember VERY well that I straightened you up at least once before, when you didn't have ANY credits for my work at your site. After that, you did add SOME credits for the stuff you had at that moment (for example you never added credits to this page; Yet you still added a "(c) Yellow Yoshi" at the bottom), and we sorta started being friendly to each other (oddly), until the day you started to send me hate mail continuously, and I decided to stop giving you permission to use these files. That's when the trouble started because you totally refused to remove them. And I DID tell you in MAY that you were soon going to have to remove them.

And by the way, you certainly didn't steal from my site just once, as you have files on your site that I added to mine in the last few months. And as far as I've seen (and at the time of this writing), none of those additional files have ANY credits. A perfect example: All of the mp3s:

YS has sent me a HUGE list of files to remove

Its size shouldn't matter, you still have to remove them. Follow my instructions at the bottom of my other post.

That's why I allow usage of my non-art Yoshi images for making layouts. I allow that with no problems at all (It would be very stupid not to).

So Yellow Yoshi knows what to do. And he knows what will happen if he doesn't. I would consider this ended, but I'd like to wait one more day to see if YY will choose solution #1.

Yeah like Teh Yoshi said, it's okay to make mistakes, we're here for you. If what you truly want is peace, then forget about what these members are doing and let them do what they want to do, we have the liberty to stay out of it, and I believe it would be for the better.

Well, a very wise Yoshi told me that and it actually worked keeping my mouth shut, and I'm sure he knows who he is. So just don't side with anyone and don't say anything, let them do the talking for you. This way, no blame can come to you because you had nothing to do with it, neither do most of the members posting here, but either way, don't take it too hard on yourself. Believe me, I've made many mistakes before.
