I need a few simple steps to draw a good yoshi. Can I get some help here? Your buddy, CJ.

That is a question that cannot be answered. You must find your own way to draw something.

Agree with Joshi! But basically you must start off with a template of some sort, then you start to copy and soon enough you'll be able to draw him off the top of your head!
Its basically how i did it!

Ehh, what I did is try doodling stuff until you find a style that looks cool. Its how I got to be the person who draws something once every blue moon I am today

Start with the nose. Find the angle you're drawing it at, and go on from there. Move on to the eyes, the neck, the body, add limbs.. etc. And dont forget to practice, obviously.

I found out how to draw a good yoshi by myself! I can't draw a good head facing to the side so i drew one facing foward.

Oh really? That's rather interesting. I find it harder to draw a Yoshi from the frontal view and make it look good. Awesome for you, then!

Is that how you start your drawings, Soul? That's strange.... since that's how I start mine too. isn't that the weirdest thing?

I'm not sure how I draw my yoshi when I first created the first one. Nowadays I started with the eyes and then the nose. God, it's like 8-10 years now? Like other people said, try practicing by copying the yoshi picture, then you can come up with your own style.

like every1 else said - find a yoshi picture, and start trying to copy it, then find another picture and copy that one. eventually, you'll be able to draw yoshi with the best of 'em and u'll have your own special little style note: don't try to start your drawing with the spikes or something like that. start with the eyes or nose. (just in case you have no common sense like me and need some1 to tell u that)

I actually start my Yoshis with the shoes or tail. How did that came to be? I have no idea. The head always turns out last for me.

I actually start my Yoshis with the shoes or tail. How did that came to be? I have no idea. The head always turns out last for me. most of my friends draw that way when they're drawing the whole body... i can't do that, and so i can never really make 2 characters standing next to each other on a level surface... its kind of annoying

I usually... Start ny the head. Starting by the nose, and going down o make his mouth. Then I ddraw the eyes... etc etc. And then I draw the body, but maybe it'S not the best way to do it.

I tend to start with the eyes then draw everything else around that.

As most people do, I start with the nose. And then I draw the outlining of the eyes, the cheeks, the mouth, the spikes, and then the inside of the eyes. The tail is always last when I draw the entire body.
I find it a lot harder to do it any other way.

Hmm... I usually start out with a line that's supposed to represent the Yoshi's pose, or movement, or whatever.
Unless it's just a doodle. Then the nose is first.
