sorry for the wait, here's my next part:

"So, tell me." Kator said to Yoshee. "What brings you here?"
"We are looking for a friends of ours." Yoshee answered.
"And you believe this friend of your may be here?" Kator asked. "No, I haven't seen anyone come here. Trust me, I see all that comes in these woods and know what occurs here."
Yoshee sighed and sat down. "Then where is she?"
"I don't know..." Kator said. "I wish I could be of more assistance... though I am currently in my own situation."
<Like what?> Champ asked.
"It's... nothing. You best return to the place you came from. I have a feeling your friend is there." Kator said.
Yoshee got back up. "Thanks." she turned her heard back at Champ. "C'mon."
<Right behind you.> Champ responded.

Yapi finally reached the docks. In the horizon, she could see a ship sailing away.
"Oh no, I am too late!" she shouted. She gave a sigh and looked out at the sea. "Not if I can help it."
She jumped back in the air, spreading her wings again and taking flight over the sea toward the ship.

Leoshi decided he should rest. He turned away and walked below deck. This was about the same time Yapi landed on the ship's decks.
"Leoshi!" She called out. "Hey, are you here?"
There was no response.
"Hello, Leo! Are you here or what?" She asked. There was still no response. Yapi waited and waited to hear something. She finally have a shrug and flew back into the air.
Meanwhile, Leo was inside the ship, sitting in a chair. He sighed and covered his eyes.
"Why do I have to be so useless?" he thought.
Leo got up from his seat and opened a nearby window. The wind instantly began to brush against him, his hair flying about. He stuck his head out for a second, to look back once more, the went back in and slammed the window shut.
The slam was enough to gain Yapi's attention. In flight, she looked and saw a window shut. She flew down to the window's level and peered through. She could see him with his hands over his eyes in shame.
"Why?" Leo asked to himself. "Why is it that whatever I do, it always harms others? Why do I even try. They can protect the book, not me. I'm just not good enough."
Yapi continued to look through the window. "So that's why, low self-confidence... well, it doesn't matter why he left, I need to get him to come back. I have to get him to use the book."
Leoshi looked toward the window and spotted Yapi with her face looking in. "What the-"
Yapi tapped on the window, signaling him to open it up.
He walked over slowly and opened up the window, the howling of the wind returned.
"Leo, what are you doing?" She asked.
"I..." he stopped himself. "I was caught. How could I have thought I could have left so easily?"
"C'mon, you need to come back to Rogueport and help us out!" She said.
"You don't need me." Leoshi said. "You have the book. You are the guardian of the 8 elements. You don't need to use the book's power to protect it."
"...come on, don't you want to help?" She asked.
"I can't." Leo said. "I tried and I failed. There no use in trying again."
Yapi sighed and held out the book. "Look, I still have it."
"You brought it here?!" Leo asked. "What if the enemy tried to follow you?"
Yapi held out the book to Leoshi. "...this is your last chance." She said. "Do you want to leave and let us take care of it, or do you want to come and help?"

"You two." a gruff voice shouted. Lava and Enrique looked up. A huge cloaked one approached them.
"What is it?" Lava asked defensively.
"My master wants you two to come to him. NOW!"
The cell doors broke open. Before they could react, they where picked up and where being dragged.
"Can you at least tell us why?" Enrique asked.
The guard laughed. "You two have no idea what we have in store for you..."

Hey cool, Yapi brought the book away from Moshi! YAYZ!
Now I hope that me and Enrique get a good idea on how to flee.
Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Enrique could use Jeff's special machines in EarthBound. (HP-Sucker, Bazooka, Slime Generator, Counter PSI Unit, etc.)

Call me a loser, Lava, but I've never played Earthbound. Never even known it existed if it weren't for Super Smash Bros. =P
Great chapter, Leo! You are putting the suspence in the story excellently. I'm really curious to see what you'll do to me. XD

That was another good chapter Leoshi! I should have said this before but Demon sounds a whole lot like Zabuza, the "demon" from the village hidden in the mist. O_\\ I'm just so curious on how all of this is gonna come out, this isn't just like your regular story that you can always predict what gonna happen next.

I should have said this before but Demon sounds a whole lot like Zabuza, the "demon" from the village hidden in the mist. O_\\ Hm... this was actually a character I created randomly to add to a cast, but now that you mention it, I do see similarities. (weird I didn't notice it) Call me a loser, Lava, but I've never played Earthbound. Never even known it existed if it weren't for Super Smash Bros. =P Same here Anyway, I plan to get the next one up soon |

Nah, they're pretty basic. The bazooka's just a weapon, the HP-Sucker sucks HP from enemies, and Slime Generator uses a sticky ooze that paralyzes enemies. They're made form a broken bazooka, a broken pipe, and a broken iron, respectively.

a verry good story ;D ;D!!! when i read it its yust like im in the srory myself! awsome!! i cant wait for the rest to come XD hurry up! hurry up! hurry up! Like I said, midterms are killing me. The weather here looks kind of weird though, so I might be able to post tommorow provided school is delayed/cancelled. Though I'm surprise it's that long already. I think I better continue soon, though
