Wow, that just leaves the evil group left still racing, right? Great chapter again Leo! Can;t wait for more! Nope, they lost their craft. So as of now, odd as it sounds, all of the contestants have temporarily gotten out of the race. ...or have they? Heh, thanks, Twi and Yoshee!

That was quite an interesting chapter! The battle between 'Ken and 'Ko against Twi rages on while a fire starts in the jungle, and a Duplighost appears to take on Yoshee's shape!
After thought, I always believed my character's...dragonishness... would be a big too god-like, but you've just made use of Teo so perfectly along this whole storyline... I'm impressed, I'm completely impressed!
But which IS the real Yoshee? Don't tell me it's the "one's lying, the other telling the truth" thing... What if one of them telling the instructions is lying? What if they're BOTH dirty rotten liars? *smacked* Hey!! What was that for...

But which IS the real Yoshee? Well you could tell by doing a genetic analysis of both of them and then comparing it to a previous medical record of Yoshee, but you don't have one... sorry you're on your own Teo! On to comments: *ONLY HALF WAY! Your story is already gigantic! *Ha Ha I liked the "blame the writer" line, the name for the duplighost is appropriate although... unusual *The crashing of the Majestuosa reminded me a little of when the saucer section of the Enterprise-D crashed into a planet. I wonder who's voice your character heard, and how a wooden ship could survive a fall such as that, mysterious and exciting *Looks like your ship has taken some heavy damage, how are you going to fix it and then win the race? *There is something unusual about how the Proctor can guess that only 4 survivors will make it to the volcano, he seems less than trustworthy lets say. Yep I'd say I defiantly liked this chapter, it builds up to the conclusion of this arc. I wonder what the theme for the next arc will be...

So then, I have gotten this one in a bitter faster then I had previously assumed. I know, this time, there isn’t as much action as per previously used in the last chapter, but it’s got it’s twists, so I still hope you like it anyway. Please, enjoy/
----------------------------------------------------------------
Teo stared dumbfounded at both of the Yoshees.
“You must believe me!” one of them shouted. “I am the real Yoshee, seriously!”
“No way!”
“Not cool!”
Teo sighed. “Ok, I have an idea.”
Both of the Yoshees looked toward Teo. “Oh?”
‘But of course.” Teo stated. “Now, this is a dangerous move. If I choose the real Yoshee, that’s good and things resume normality. But… If I happen to chose the incorrect one, not only will I lose the real Yoshee, but we’d have a mole in our group…”
“So, what are you going to do?” One of them asked.
Teo smirked. “This decision is too risky to take. It would be much better on our team… if I were to abandon you both.”
“WHAT?!” Both of them asked.
“…well, there is the alternative method…” Teo said. “By destroying you both.”
“WHAAAAAAT?!” both shouted.
By the time they had finished their scream, Teo had already resumed dragon form, and was now starring at the two of them, with menacing eyes.
“ARE YOU INSANE?!?!” Yoshee asked.
“Ok, ok!” Copy-Face shouted, disappearing in a cloud of purple smoke and resuming his duplighost form. “I confess! Just don’t kill me!”
Teo's eyes narrowed. “Bingo.”
He opened his mouth wide, and let fire begin to rush outward. Yoshee made her escape, though Copy-Face wasn’t nearly as fortunate, and got a hard blast at near point-blank range.
Teo resumed normal form, and stood with a satisfied look. However, his moment of victory was quickly cut off when he felt a hard slap to the back of the head.
He turned around, holding the throbbing new red mark on his head and shouted: “What was that for?!”
“Don’t scare me like that!” Yoshee shouted.
“….wargh…” Copy-Face moaned. “…hey, you two kids.”
Both Teo and Yoshee turned back to face the duplighost. “You have gotten me angry now.”
------------------------------------------------------------
Lava, and his friends, Treyba, Velvet T, and Fantasy Guy, had ditched their campsite, carrying Champ and Charon with their free hands, and proceeded into the jungle for sanctuary from the fire.
“Lava, where are we going?!” Velvet T asked.
“Somewhere, anywhere! We have to find Teo and get back in the race!” Lava shouted. “And more importantly, we should get out of here before anyone finds out we started the fire!”
They had continued to race into the jungle, jumping over low obstacles and ducking beneath high ones. However, there was obstacle that was impossible to avoid, and it was headed strait toward-
BONK!!
Lava and LD had slammed into one another, both apparently running right toward each other right before.
<LD!> Champ and Charon shouted.
“Lava!” LD shouted.
“LD?” Lava asked back.
“Lava…” Fantasy Guy moaned.
“LD!” Lava shouted, confirming that it was him.
“Lav-“
Velvet T struck LD with a fist. “Shut up already!”
Lava had noticed that LD had a huge wooden post tied to his back, restraining both of his arms.
“Long story.” LD said. “Would you mind untying me?”
A few minutes later, LD has finally broken free of the post, which gave a thud as it hit the jungle floor.
“LD? Did you see Teo anywhere in there?”
“Nope.” LD said immediately stretching his arms.
“Three out of five on your team are with us already, LD.” Lava said. “So how’s about we team up, find Yoshee, Teo, and Jay, and ban together to win from here on out?”
<Teo and Yoshee are both our teams leaders.> Champ stated. <Isn’t that kind of thing up to them?>
“We still have to meet them.” Lava said. “So as the team’s second leader, I’m gonna say we team up.”
“Fine.” was the response he received from most of the others.
“We parked the Chao Walker by the rapids a little further behind.” LD said. “We can use it to catch up with the two of them.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------
“What do you mean!?” Midnight shouted.
“The Majestuosa fell from the sky a few minutes ago.” Shez said. “I saw it, as you were ranting about losing your crew.”
“…but with the Majestuosa down… that means no teams are left in the race!” Midnight shouted.
“Yeah.” Yoshark sighed.
“So, what are we supposed to do?” Shez asked.
“We’ll fly on our own.” Midnight said. “And then beat the heck out of the next person we meet, take whatever means of transportation we can, and rush to the finish line.”
------------------------------------------------------
Yin, Yoshifrog, Moshi, and John rushed to meet up with the Majestuosa’s crew whilst Yoshiken and Twi were preparing to resume battle.
“…something shot at us from below.” Eloeem said.
John blushed and hid his gun behind his back.
Leoshi jumped off the ship, taking a look at it.
“…at any rate, the ship has undergone horrific damage.” he thought. “It will take a couple of hours at least to repair her.”
Leoshi’s entire crew (minus the currently lost Yapi) stood on the side of the rapids, starring at the nearly ship-wrecked vessel.
“…so, now what, Mr. Leader?” Moshi asked.
“…well, isn’t it obvious?” Leoshi asked. “We should repair the ship.”
“We don’t know how to fix these things!” Moshi shouted. “I say we leave it.”
Leoshi ignored the comment and continued to walk around it. “…well, can’t we just take the other wing off, hammer some rails in, and pull the mast back up?”
“Maybe…” Spider remarked.
Leoshi, at this time, was holding the spell book again. He left it closed and at his side, paying no attention to it as he examined the ship.
“…hey, you there.”
Leo glanced over at Twi.
“Hey, pal!” Yoshiken shouted at Twi. “We’re fighting, remember?”
“Oh, right.” Twi said. “Yoshiken, I’m done fighting with you.”
“What?!”
Twi smirked toward Yoshiken. “I was getting bored anyway.”
“Why you-”
Twi used his scythe and swiped once. Yoshiken lost his grip, and his katana flew off. To his pure shock, it had, once more, falling back into the rapids.
“NO!!” Yoshiken shouted, trying to run after it.
Twi watched Yoshiken run off.
“That… idiot!” Moshi exclaimed.
Twi looked toward Leoshi. “You know how to make an entrance, mate.”
Leoshi said nothing.
“My name is Twilight Yoshi.” Twi said. “I’ve been instructed to dismantle every craft in the race. Yoshee’s boat has sunk, Teo isn’t flying, Yoshiken and Yoshiko are too occupied, Midnight’s battleship has fallen, Charfg’s boat exploded, and now, you’re little ship is dead-”
“She’s not dead.” Leoshi stated. “But what are you up to?
“I’m not obliged to answer that.” Twi stated. “You’re the leader of this piece of scrap?”
Leoshi nodded.
“Congratulations. Out of all 6 teams, you were the last ones to stay in the race. Until now. I figure you must have a bit more talent then these sad yoshis.”
“HEY!” Yoshifrog, Yin, and John shouted.
“Your name is Leoshi, if I’m not mistaken.” Twi said.
Leoshi looked back with a serious expression and nodded.
“Then you’re the one with the book.” Twi said. “…I have heard stories about you. I want to see if they’re accurate.”
“What do you mean by stories?” Eloeem asked.
“Again, I’m not obliged to answer.” Twi stated. “Leoshi, I am going to battle you.”
Leo stood there without emotion.
“…of course, this won’t be any senseless violence. We’ll have stakes.” Twi began to walk around Leo. “If you win, I’ll help you out. However, if I win, I’m allowed to sink your boat.”
“Accept it, Leoshi.” Moshi said. “The ship’s going to sink anyway, so we have nothing to lose.”
“Hey…” Leoshi said quietly. “Moshi, Eloeem, Spider, Hunter. I want the four of you to fix her while I fight Twi.”
“Sure.” Eloeem and Spider both said. Hunter, who was still barely conscious from the shock of the fall and still clinging to the figurehead, nodded nervously.
“Fine.” Moshi groaned.
Leoshi and Twi both began to approach one another. Both of them took their weapons out at the same time, Twi standing in an ominous stance with his enormous scythe, Leo holding the book in his left and placing his right palm over it’s revealed texts.
“Ready?” Twi asked.
Leoshi looked down at his book. He had seen the next line in the text, and after a lot of time, had finally come to understand how to pronounce it. He decided that he was going to start the battle with his newest attack spell.
“…well?” Twi asked.
“I’m ready.” Leoshi proclaimed.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, much shorter then before, I suppose I didn’t have as much to do this time around. More action next time, folks.

Now that was a funny chapter, I definetaly laughed a lot in there. That solution definetaly worked... although I don't know what would have happened if dupli hadn't changed! I always imagine this kind of thing horribly wrong, but it is VERY entertaining when they work absolutely right. Do wish a fire wasn't threatening to burn down the forest... and if Dupli wasn't planning anything... big... and if I didn't have to live with a sore spot... BUT! Not everything can be perfect. In fact, it's dull without a little clash Eheh... absolutely loved the part when Lava and LD bashed into each other. "Lava! LD! Lava! LD!" *SMACK* yeah, that got a huge chuckle out of me. The repeditiveness and smackiness to end it all... ahahaha! Although I am hugely looking forward to Twi and Leo... second thought... Leo and Twi's battle! The giant scythe... what mysteries does it hold? A weapon originally used to chop wheat with against a 3,000 year old crumbling tome?... I mean... a deadly pole-arm with a huge blade versus an ancient and powerful tome! Who SERIOUSLY will win? What secrets does the blade hold? ...and why is Yoshiken afraid of water? Swin dude! Be a man!

Yoshiken is not afraid of water, but if it is on his body for an extended period of time, it gradually enters his pores and causes pain to his nerve receptors and cells that create the flames that Yoshiken is able to use ^^. Thats why he is able to drink water, but not swim in it.
so basically---- Swimming in water = water enters skin after a period of time = goes onto flame-producing cells = Instant pain

Ah, where to begin with this one? Hahaha, I apologize for the delay, and I know it’s been over a week. I have had quite a few things to attend to, and unfortunately, that’s my only excuse. So, without further ado:
------------------------------------------------------------------
“Oh, come on.” Yoshee groaned in displeasure.
Both of the yoshis were faced with the Bulky Bobomb, a huge bobomb, with pink color and about twice as tall as both of them were.
“Imposing, isn’t it?” Copy-Face asked in his new form.
“…Well, you’re pink.” Yoshee bluntly replied.
The bobomb stuttered. “P-p-p-ink? Is that all you see in this form?”
“We really don’t have time for this.” Teo sighed. “Can we fight you later?”
The creature gave an annoyed growl. As it did, the fuse atop it’s head lit, sparks spewing in all directions. Copy Face slowly began to waddle toward the two yoshis, with a serious expression on it’s face.
Both of the yoshis looked back upon it in nervousness. An explosive of that magnitude, no doubt had the ability to clear out the general area.
“What do we do?!” Yoshee queried Teo, shaking his shoulders.
“Uh… hm…” Teo went into a train of thought. All the while, the bobomb was coming ever closer, the wick slowly running out.
“Ok.” Teo stated. “Follow my lead.”
Teo slowly approached the large figure. A bit startled about the strange yoshi’s actions, Copy face halted, the wick still burning away. Teo walked right up to the bomb and looked it strait in the eyes, and gave it an ominous expression at point black range.
“Teo, what are you doing?” Yoshee asked trying to get some distance from the colossal monster.
With a quick change of expression from serious to horrified, Teo pointed to the direct left of the bobomb and exclaimed: “WHAT IS THAT?!”
The bomb preformed a 180. “Where?!”
The moment that Copy Face diverted his attention, Teo sprinted back toward Yoshee.
Yoshee tilted her head. “What the-”
Teo, without a moment’s hesitation, grabbed Yoshee by one of the fins on the back of her head and tugged her along.
“Ow!” Yoshee cried out. “What are you doing?!”
Yoshee broke free of Teo and began to run on her own. The two rushed back into the tribal village, shouting as they did, not paying any heed to the tribal toads what watched them run hysterically.
One of the guard toads rushed ahead to block the village’s exit. “Halt, you cannot-OOF!”
The two panic-stricken yoshis knocked the guard aside, bolting out of the village.
The toad tried to get back up. “…ow… those two shall not-”
He was interrupted by screaming from the village. The toad looked back and saw a huge bobomb rushing through, the wick almost at it’s end.
The guard gasped and sprung to his feet. “HOLY-”
-------------------------------------------------
Sound of explosions were followed by screaming from back in the jungle. Bursts of air rushed from the interior and swept across the area. An enormous pillar of fire shot forth from the heart of the jungle.
Yoshee and Teo, albeit out of breath, witnessed the event from the side of the rapids.
“That was close…” Teo sighed.
Yoshee groaned and held her own hand on her head. “Darn it, Teo, that hurt.”
“Aha, there they are!” LD shouted.
Yoshee and Teo spotted the rest of their team approaching them.
“YOU!” Yoshee shouted, pointing at LD. “How could you have left me there?!”
“Like I had a choice-”
Teo stood between Yoshee and LD. “Save it. We have too many other things to worry about.”
“Well, at least we’re together.” Lava said.
Charon looked in both directions. <Wait a moment. Where’s Jay?>
------------------------------------------------------------------
Twilight and Leoshi stood facing each other aside of the river. Yin, Moshi, Yoshifrog, and John gathered and watched from afar, whilst Hunter, Spider, and Eloeem were at work, patching up the severely damaged ship.
Twi merely stood still with an imposing look, standing while holding the scythe. He didn’t appear to have any intention of making the first action.
Leoshi also stood firm, holding the spell book.
“This one spell I have should surprise him.” Leoshi thought. “Since I never used it yet, nobody, not even I, have any idea what it can do.”
Leoshi poised, with his left arm holding the book, and his right arm held out toward Twi.
“There’s Shidome, Ze-Shidome, Transmorphous, and Brilliance. What will this next one do?”
Leoshi went ahead anyway, aiming directly for Twi. “Since it’s the next one, this should be more powerful then all of the others!”
Leoshi took a deep breath, then shouted: “Venefichain!”
There was a quick flash, causing everyone to close their eyes from the sudden light. Leoshi could hear the sound of something very large falling onto the ground, followed by what sounded like a metal chain hitting the soil. There also seemed to be some newfound stress on his right arm.
Finally, Leoshi was able to open his eyes. The first thing he was able to see was a defined glowing blue. He also noticed that there was a huge spherical object, radiating bright blue, about as tall as Leoshi was, a few feet away. He also noticed that there was a glowing blue chain connected from the back of the ball. Upon looking at his hand, he realized that the other end of the chain came from his right palm. It seemed to have actually fused to his hand, so that it was a part of him.
Hunter dropped the mallet he was using and rushed to the rail of the boat, on looking the battle. “What the heck is that thing?!”
Moshi gave a devious smile. “…ah, that book… I already said I wasn’t going to take it… but geez, looking at it’s power just makes me want it more then ever.”
Leoshi tried to tug on the chain, but to his amazement, the huge object it was connected to was so massive, that he was unable to budge.
“…” Leoshi tried again, but to no avail.
Twi remained still, with a look of increased impatience.
“How stupid…” Leoshi said quietly. He tried to move it again.
This time, the huge ball responded with what sounded like a bark.
To his, and everyone’s surprise, the ball preformed a 180, and as it did, they spotted a face on it. One with a huge mouth and wide-set eyes. As it’s mouth opened up, huge, pointed teeth became visible.
“O.M.G!” Yoshifrog shouted. “That’s a Chain Chomp!”
“So what?” Twi asked. “You can summon a minion.”
The chomp turned and spotted Twi. It gave a bark, then rushed toward Twi.
“Hm?” Twi asked. Realizing the sudden surge of energy was coming right at him, he turned around and proceeded into the jungle.
The chomp jumped on the ground a few times, the shot after Twi with the speed of a cannonball.
Leoshi looked and noticed the chain run out, then tighten. The next thing he knew, He was lifted off the ground and shooting into the jungle.
Leo gave a loud scream as trees and dirt where thrown out of the way by the barreling magic chomp.
“There’s something you don’t see everyday.” Hunter said as he watched from the ship.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Leoshi came to a crash against a tree further into the jungle. The magical Chomp has vanished after Leoshi hit the tree, leaving him lying facedown on the dirt.
“…Of all the ridiculous things.” Twi stated while looking at him with a disapproving look.
Leoshi slowly tried to get back onto his feet, but Twi took his scythe and placed it’s no sharp end on his back, forcing him back on the ground.
“If you can’t even get up, then you should have declined my offer to battle you.” Twi said. He took the scythe and gave him an additional whack, forcing him down again.
“And I’m using the weaker size of this thing.” Twi said. “Forget what I said about Yoshiken, you’re a lot more boring of an opponent.”
“Why-” Leoshi coughed before continuing. “-are you going easy on me?”
Twi now stood with one foot on his back. “I wanted to see how strong you were. I guess I was wrong.”
“I suppose you’re stronger?” Leoshi asked weakly.
“Oh, quite stronger.” Twi said. He up-righted his large scythe and prepared the swing. “Allow me to show you.”
Twi held his scythe backwards, and then swung the giant blade right toward Leoshi. There was a loud, echoing clang, followed by the scattering of some nearby treetop birds.
---------------------------------------------------------------
“Ahh… ahhh… ahhhh…”
Everyone turned their attention to Yoshiken, who had just come back. He was successfully retrieved his Katana from the water. However, both of his arms were steaming and bright red, even redder the usual. He had an expression of pain, a sort of expression that would induce both cringes and laughs.
“…water… burning… my SOUL!”
“You’ll heal.” Moshi said. She peered toward the area of Jungle were Leo and Twi has run through.
“By the way, what was that attack?” Yoshifrog asked.
“Perhaps the oddest magical ability I have seen to date.” Yin said.
Yoshiken looked into the jungle, where the trees were uprooted. “Wow, what did I miss?”
John pointed into the area. “Leo and Twi continued their fight in there.”
“You think he’s alright?” Yoshiken asked.
A shadow began to walk out from behind the trees. It appeared to be Leoshi. His hair seemed to be a bit more messed up, and his glasses were cracked in a way that made it impossible to see his eyes. His shirt was a bit torn up, and for some reason, he was wearing a big coat over most of his body. He also seemed to be wearing gloves on both arms. His light blue skin had seemed to change as well, now looking just a little bit darker.
The others rushed toward him, and came to a stop at his side.
“Leoshi… are you ok?” Yin asked, noticing the difference in appearance.
“Quite.” he said.
“What happened to that loser Twi?” Yoshiken asked.
Leoshi growled. “He’s taken care of.”
Moshi rose her eyebrow. “Who does he think he’s kidding? Is anyone going to fall for this stupid act?” She thought.
“Whooooa!” Hunter exclaimed. “You look different! Does that hurt?”
Moshi slapped her forehead. “But still…” She thought. “I better not say anything. I want to see what he’s up to.”
“So, Leoshi.” Yoshiken began. “I suggest our teams join up. I’m tired of being rivals.”
Leoshi gave a quiet foreboding laugh. “I couldn’t agree more.”
“That’s a smart idea.” John said. “Considering both of our teams lost a member.”
“We did?” Yoshiken asked.
“Yeah, Yapi and Yoshiko both went missing.” Eloeem said.
“…they did?” Yoshiken asked, still sounding confused.
“Yes… didn’t you notice?” Spider asked.
Yoshiken looked around. He gave the others a sheepish expression. “…oops.”
“Ok, if we’re forming our teams together, we’ll have to repair that old thing.” Leoshi said. Then, we can continue the race.”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s it for now. Hope you liked it, in spite of it’s lateness. More on the way.

That's not Leoshi most definitely. He'd never call his ship an "old thing" :<
Oh no, Teo grabbed my spike. Darn it, haha. They're not made of gold, they just look like it, haha. But that explosion scene was funny nonetheless. If my spikes didn't hurt, I'd be rolling on the ground laughing at the suckers who tried to tie me up XD
Chain chomps win. Excellent job.
