That is awesome. I would really love to learn how to play the violin. It is a beautiful instrument.
On other news, I spent the week with Angela (Anjilyoshi), and it was absolutely fantastic. We had so much fun and never ran out of things to do.
Also, my MSN account was deleted for some reason while I was on my mission, and I had to make a new one. It is truereddragon@hotmail.com, just like the old one, and so you may have to re-add it again if you have been wanting to talk to me. My password for my DA account hasn't been working either, and so I haven't been able to get back to that.
It has been a great week though ^^.

Well, I've been on and off YC, wishing I could log on and log into the Chat more often, but a lot of things have been going on. Major stress, but also quite a bit of fun as well in most cases. Been playing a lot more video games than usual, so maybe you'll see me on Halo 3 or MKWii! =D

So tired... Just went to orientation at UNLV for a thrilling 8 hours. At least there was free lunch.
Also, I'm in the midst of moving houses, so I may be offline for several days.
Oh yeah, I also got my first jury summons in the mail. Here's hoping it'll be fancy.
TEHDIT: Apparently the case will take place on the exact day I begin classes, both on 8/24. Hot damn...

Jury duty summons always seem to take place on the worst date! I just got my first summons as well, and it takes place on me and Angela's Anniversary, which is next week. This is so lame, I hope that they cancel it or something. Me and Angela were going to spend the whole day doing everything together. This totally sucks XD.

The posting does always appear to be like that Zyph XD. How strange. We do always seem to be posting after each others.
Our anniversary is the 21st by the way. I only know that because Angela would never let me forget it XD.

You could just make yourself the worst juror possible and not have to take the case.

So I finally bought a 5-string viola, got the bridge redone, new strings (Helicores for now, but I do have Obligatos lying around), and is ready to play.
Holy crap this thing sounds amazing and I'm having the time of my life with it! Nobody has no idea what I'm talking about...

Haha Zyph, I know exactly what that transition feels like =D
Well, it is now official: I AM LEAVING THE COUNTRY FOR VACATION! I'm actually heading to London for a couple of days to see a show, then taking a train into Scotland to perform with the rest of my high school group (even though I'm in college now =P). I am so excited for all of this!... but that also means I'll, yet again, be a tiny bit inactive during my stay there. Lemme know of any places I need to see while I'm on the trip, since I don't really know where to go!

They say it's not work when you love what you do. They're right. I absolutely love being a radio broadcaster. The music played at the station amuses me, too. It puts me in touch with my heritage. So yeah. Things are looking up right now. Let's hope it lasts.

I think I just found roughly $1,000 in a form of near mint condition collectible Marvel comic books while cleaning out the old closet underneath the stairs in my old house while moving. It doesn't belong to anyone in the family, but my dad's old coworker (somehow). The comics are called Avengers Vol 1. (1963). Each comic is individually set into a folder and wrapped in plastic. I had to open one (don't tell anyone) just to make sure what the year was, since they looked ridiculously old school (complete with silly mail-in orders and other crazy adverts). I have novels 2 and 6 through 100 (missing 1, 3, 4, and 5 of a complete set). Since it's Comicon these days, I may not find a respectable dealer to sell these bad boys to until a week or so. Blarghenflarghen, I need a laptop for college!

Well, it's official! On Friday, I got my acceptance letter. In the fall, I'm off to college!
Parties and fire water and things you regret the next morning! Studying. Lots of studying. Studying philosophy and folklore and history!
Also, gaming. Lots and lots of gaming!

Why doesn't my college have cool stuff like that (excluding creative writing)? And linguistics. Linguistics would be great. Like Fluory. Fluory's taking linguistics.
Anyway, I'm concerned about my health. I can't sleep right anymore. I've been sleeping irregularly throughout the year ever since I graduated. Not too long ago, I've been focusing more on my health, and this is something that definitely needs to be fixed, especially with college so close around the corner (24th). I've tried everything I know except pills, because I'm afraid of them, especially sleeping pills, and I can't even swallow them. I think this is all because so much major stuff is happening. College, a possible job, I'm over my writer's block. I'm sure the recent internet drama has contributed as insignificant as it was. Oh, yes, and excruciating neck pains as well as orthostatic hypotension (head rushes) and headaches. So, now I'm up, mind's too tired to write, so I'm watching TMNT on YouTube. I wonder when this madness will end? I'm sure college will force it out of me, but I'm rather tired of spending my days sleeping, and the time that I am awake just sitting on my bum because it's too late to do anything or my headaches won't let me do anything. This is not how I want to spend the remainder of the summer, and possibly the last freedom I have to goof off until retirement (if I can get that luxury). Who knows, maybe getting this out in the air might help. Here's to hoping.

I'm doing my fourth stocktake in two months tomorrow. If you don't hear back from me for a while I've probably jumped under a bus.

Haha! I finally scored a job! It is about time. If you are curious at what it is that I will become, it is an Electrician Trainee, moving my way up to an Electrician Assistant. I am pretty excited to not be broke anymore.

I had a crown placed today. It feels strange when my tongue touches it compared to another tooth though. It's only a temporary crown though, just until the real crown gets molded.

For a nice three day weekend, Thornberry and Fifth were at my house. Before then, we had to go grocery shopping because we won't have a car for that weekend, so we were basically camping in my own home. We all played exciting rounds of 18-hole Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour and watched Disney classics almost every time we ate a meal, mostly consisting of my cooking.
I haven't had this much fun in years, and it's really a shame that all good things must come to an end. Ah... It may or may not seem I will finally get more time to be on the computer.

So I sat here today and thought long and hard about something. For about a year, this forum has undergone a lot of stress, and various members from other places have been spreading hate over the reputation of this place (don't be blind, it's true), and this probably has something to do with the decline in activity and the events that have made various people agree and plaster ">:[" faces over us. However, the past couple of weeks has proven something which is beyond remarkable.
Is Yoshi Corner coming back? Is it slowly returning to what it was supposed to be? We've already started to see a vast increase of posts a day, and a lot of old members are returning to take part. Are we rising once again as a Phoenix does from the fire? I sure hope so, I feel that this is what we need to get back in the game, and reclaim our rightful place within the fandom.
It actually made me smile. I've been a fellow resident for over 4 years (5 years next month!) and I've seen the ups which made me love this little forum, but I have witnessed the downsides that have made me feel rotten and sorry for this place, after all, this is my home. I never wanted this place to die, I feared for the worst that it would, and I felt stupid since I did nothing towards bringing it back and preventing this fate that was becoming a growing possibility. Sure, we rely on the chatroom for our social gatherings, but Yoshi Corner started as a forum, can we not keep it as one?
Just a little thought on the matter at hand. I for one am pleased that Yoshi Corner seems to be coming back, but will it last? I don't know, but I feel now is the time to get us back on the right track, and make Yoshi Corner the best place to be for fans like ourselves.
Share your thoughts on this matter if you wish.
