Yay! Finally got all my stuff onto the new computer. Now I can continue work again. I was going nuts knowing I was falling behind D: I'm also in the midst of the wedding planning! We've booked a photographer, have made up a rough guest list, and I requested a quote from an amazing cake designer for a Yoshi-themed wedding cake I sketched out I hope they'll get back to me soon!

Wow. I'm just interested... could you take a picture of the cake before you eat it? Please? I wanna see this cake!
As for me, I found out that I'm first chair again for the second Violin section of my school's Orchestra. Hey, I could be a first violinist, I'm just putting my skills to better use by back up those 2nd violinists who are so afraid of playing they can barely hit the notes. =)

I've been playing the piano a lot recently. I've been working on a song called Deathbed by Relient K. It's a really amazing song, but it takes 11 minutes to play it... 20-25 minutes for me since I'm still learning. =P But it's been fun. I'm really enjoying it.
Today is also the first day in a long time that I have no homework. It's very nice, needless to say. =D

I can't get internet at home, and it's really bothersome. I haven't had it for two or three weeks now, and I'm not even sure if I'll get it back (I use a wireless connection from a neighbor because I'm poor and ghetto). In the meanwhile, either I have pink eye or extremely horrible sinus problems, because the sinus areas of my nose and forehead are acting up, too. I had to skip school today because of it, and I really hate that.
I did see Where the Wild Things Are last Thursday (or Friday, rather, since it was a midnight showing), and it wasn't bad. It was a good refresher for my inner child, for sure.

Went to Chicago. It was freaking awesome, as you can probably tell from this wild picture. I'm the small one on the right; the other two girls are two of my best friends. We're young, beautiful, and completely boy-crazy. In fact that last quality is so bad it's a little scary. But together, we're going to get dates. The one in the center has really terrible yellow-fever. It's so bad that Xiao (the one in the blue coat) and I have to keep pulling her aside to tell her the Asian she's hitting on is terribly ugly lmao. We went to Chinatown while we were in Chicago so this happened a lot. Chinatown was pretty amazing - I got to taste (close to) authentic Chinese food for the first time in my life, and that was awesome. It was a really nice looking place, too. Very colorful. I miss Chicago.

Chicago is a beautiful place. I've been going up there for the past couple years to visit family and it's always a lot of fun. But now I have the flu so I have been spending the past two weeks on and off sick in bed.

Wow, looks like you had some mad fun in Chicago! Well, I'm back! It's been a rough ride, being sick for a few weeks with mono (still am a little), and going through a lot of crazy college shenanigans and midterms, but now that I am relaxed and stress free for the most part, I'm ready to go! Finally going to declare my concentration for my major. I'm a Television/Radio major that will now concentrate in Audio Production, and so far, I am absolutely loving it!

I leave for my trip to New York in 2 hours. The Coach, bound for London airport, leaves at 5:30am and I have to leave the house at 4am. So I've given up on sleep until I get onto the bus, I am NOT missing my bus because I slept in! See you all when I get back in a week!

I hope you have fun in New York City, Pleb! I've never been to NYC myself, so you'll have to let me know how it is! XD

WHAT A WEEK!
But, I don't seem to have conjunctivitus anymore, although I'm still taking prescribed eyedrops, and everything seems to have turned out for the better.
But, best of all, I just became a little less ghetto today! Instead of bumming off my neighbor's connection, we finally got our own! Yes, I am very excited. I'm also excited because I have a near-solid plot for Shoelaces, that story about Shoe that I seemingly abandoned ages ago (I think it was about a year ago, actually--whoops), and I can't wait to finish it. I finished the first chapter, but I think I'll proofread it a couple more times before posting it. In the meantime, I wouldn't recommend reading what I wrote of the old story, it might spoil some things. Hopefully, everyone who's read that has forgotten it all by now. After Shoelaces, I'll begin on my retelling of Yoshi Story, which will be followed by yet another sequel. I suppose I have this month's issue of Nintendo Power to thank, whose editors wrote a promising article about New Super Mario Bros. Wii and so thrust me into a big fan phase that I hope will last a good while.

Nice costume Yoshiken.
I spent last night playing L4D. One of my friends tipped over the Xbox360 and ended up messing the disc at midnight though, so we just watched Quarantine, which scared the heck out of us. We watched Pineapple Express after that to calm our nerve. We tried to get some sleep around 3. Unfortunately, one of my friends was still freaking out over Quarantine. When someone went and turned off the lights, I grabbed his shoulders from behind and made a realistic gurgling/scream noise. This flipped a switch in his head and he went berserk. He didn't want to lights off, but we wanted sleep. There was a battle over the light switch, which we won with ease. It was a mistake to let him keep the TV on though, as he kept on hitting the options button so that the bright options window would keep popping up, so that he wouldn't piss his pants because of the dark. I ended up staying up talking about random stuff to keep him from freaking out, and eventually got the remote away from him. Then I tried to sleep, remote still in hand. I ended up having to sleep with his head in my crotch (ya really), because I guessed he wanted to feel the presence of another person, and I guess he chose the fork in my legs as his pillow. I was going to get up to find a plank of wood, a bat or something, but my other friends just told me to stay put so they could sleep. The sacrifice was necessary; what can I say, I'm a hero. XD Uhhhhhhgggggggg. Scary.

Oh right, we need belated creepyposting.
A mysterious serial killer is visiting hospitals the world over, painlessly ending the lives of the terminally ill.
The story is always the same, regardless from where in the world it comes. A tall, bulky man (though some say it's really a woman) in a white immaculate business suit is observed at a hospital, going into or coming out of the rooms of patients in comas, brain-dead or riddled with cancer, just as if he had every right to do so. Nobody ever checks on what he is doing. The patient visited will always be found dead by the next person entering the room; there is no discernible cause of death (even in such cases when the illness could be the source of death, evidence that it actually was is lacking), and the deceased always look as if they died happily in their sleep.
Reports of the Angel of Death, as the man has been dubbed, have come from all continents.

I'm English. Somebody tell me what the Big Deal about Halloween is. It's the only day of the year it's socially acceptable to walk around like a twit in a costume begging strangers for candy. It's also the one day to expect toilet tissue all over your house and lawn, as well as eggs to hit your car and the side of your house. Good times, good times.
