Return of the Cursed Prognosticus

Okay, this is one of my fanfics. I'm a little scared, though.. I never did one without thinking of a plot first.. D=

Prologue

One family lived in Twilight town. the family was odd, though. The family had three brothers, and a little sister. The Youngest brother was lucky, a shy Crazee Dayzee, with his left petal being black, the rest pink, the middle brother, Kerry, was a Goomba. The oldest one was a Bob-omb named Tamesis, even though he sometimes lost his temper and blew up. The younger sister, who was a Koopa with two blue bows, was the second youngest.

The three never saw her true form, though. Yes, she wasn't really a Koopa. no one knew who she really was.

One day, Tamesis was having an argument with their sister. She ran off after that. Kerry, who was watching them the whole time, felt sad.

The next day, Lucky woke up to find a note on the ground. he picked it up and read it. it was from his sister.

"Lucky,

I'm sorry to say I decided to leave twilight town. You probably wouldn't have any idea why, except Tamesis and Kerry. I probably won't see you guys for a long time. You may have seen me as a Koopa, but I'm not really a Koopa. None of you have seen my true form yet.

Bye.."

Lucky frowned. he didn't want to know what happened. "I can't believe she left.." He whispered.

Seven years later...

A pink Duplighost wandered around Twilight town. She had blue eyes, a thunder mark on her pink sheet, blue shoes, and two blue bows. She didn't seem to have a past as far as she knew.

Lucky, who was the only one in his family living in Twilight town now (Kerry ran off to Twilight Trail, and Tamesis, who knows where he went?) had noticed her. The last sentence from the note seven years ago repeated in his mind. 'None of you have seen my True form yet...'

The crazee Dayzee blinked. "What did she mean by that?" he whispered. His eyes widened. "DUCK!!" he yelled. he ducked.

The Duplighost blinked. her back was turned to the gate, so she didn't know. A hyper Goomba was thrown into Twilight Town, and knocked her over.

"OW! Watch where you're going!" The Duplighost, Crystal, yelled, growling.

Crystal looked at the Hyper Goomba that hit her. a puff of smoke surrounded it before it disappeared. a white Duplighost with a Bow tie, orange shoes, and a party hat was standing there, dizzy. (Look familiar to anyone? Someone else besides me must've played paper Mario: The thousand year door!)

Lucky's eyes widened. good thing nobody was there to hear him yell this. "AAAAAAA!!! It's the demon from Twilight Trail!"

"Shut up!" The Duplighost yelled, glaring at Lucky. "And quit calling me that! It's irritating me!" He yelled.

"... Sorry.." Lucky didn't really mean it, though.

Yeah, I'm still nervous. Can anybody help me with the title over here? I can never think of one.. D=

Thats fine running into stories without plots. I do it all the time ^^ (shhh >,>;;.) I really like how vivid your stories are, I wonder if Crystal is their sister? I've played Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door but not that much of it >,<;. It was my sister's game after all.

As for a title. . . You got me there. Based on the first chapter, it seems as if your story is going to revolve around Crystal since she is most mentioned. Maybe the title of the story could be called Crystal?

yeah.. D= I'm thinking about Adding mario in the fanfic.. If he sees Doopliss in Twilight town, He'll probably try to pummel him, but ends up getting held back by Lucky. XD Besides, I'm still thinking of a plot.. x.x

Pretty good start! I love how we can make connections that the characters can't...hence, why I love Shakespearean plays and its ironic litteracy. Despite the loss of my lower jaw I still enjoy a high standard of living.
As for a title...hmmm....I usually try to go off of a plot a little bit, and also try to fit in something that's either a play on words or just discretely describes the chapter/story.....of course, I'm slightly hypocritical because I never give titles until I actually finished the piece of work.

Chapter 1- Wow, angry much?

Kerry growled when he woke up, locked in a broken down house, which happened to be boarded up. He had lived in Twilight trail for seven years, and the night before, someone thought it was funny to bring him into the house and board it up while he was still asleep.

"SOMEONE GET ME OUT OF HERE!!" He yelled, kicking the walls.

Nearby, a Bob-omb was sleeping. Unfortunately, he woke up by the yelling and yelled "Who's there?!"

"Tamesis?"

"Who are you and how did you know my name?! Great, I'm talking to a boarded up house. NOW I'm going insane."

"Tamesis, SHUT UP. It's Kerry."

"Kerry? Oh, for a moment there I thought I was insane--"

"Just SHUT UP AND GET ME OUT OF HERE!"

"I would, but I don't know what do to."

"Idiot."

"what'd you say?!"

"Nothing."

Twilight Town

"I told ya.. now you got a headache." Lucky said, laughing.

Crystal glared at th Crazee Dayzee. "You're DEAD." She said.

"You might want to start running." Doopliss said.

"Good idea!" Lucky ran off after that, being chased around by Crystal all over Twilight town. It took about an hour for them to stop. why? they heard something blow up.

"I'll go check.." The Crazy Dayzee said. He left, but when he came to where Tamesis and Kerry were, he yelled "CRUD! Is that really you, bro?"

Tamesis and kerry blinked. They were shocked at the first word Lucky said when he saw the bob-omb.

Both duplighosts decided to follow the Crazee Dayzee to see what was going on.

"Ugh.. nevermind about that! just help me get kerry out of this house." Tamesis yelled.

"I would, but I don't know how to.." Lucky muttered.

After Lucky said that, both he and Crystal got zapped.

"Back away!" Crystal yelled. Why'd she say that? It was the discharge attack, and that was bad. She turned pale pink before getting zapped again. "Gah... Discharge.." before she said anything else, she blacked out.

"Great. She's knocked out." Tamesis said.

"You like her, don't you?" Lucky taunted Doopliss, laughing.

"I DON'T." Doopliss muttered.

"Uh-huh. Sure you don't."

"I'm not kidding! Dang!"

In Twilight town, a purple shapeshifter with a green dress smirked.

"I can't believe it worked." She said, looking around to see it no one was watching. She took out a sapphire orb. It appeared to be a memory orb she had made. "I have made his seven years ago. Thinking it never worked until I stumbled upon that girl.." She added. she decided to stop. Good thing no one had listened when she had whispered the name.

"Crystal. Foolish girl. Never knew she was tricked by me. This orb had taken all of her memories except for two. Who she was, and a bright flash of blue." She walked away after that. Zuna, who had been watching her, smiled.

"Kiara, you've done well. I'm surprised you did better than me." Zuna said. she followed her sister to Twilight trail.

Wow, that was.. strange. I'm not sure if this chapter was good. yeah, I'm always nervous when I write a chapter. I probably won't add Mario in until the third chapter or something. it depends. Also, the discharge attack, it rarely happens. the only thing that happens is that Crystal gets zapped before turning pale pink.. Yup, it's true.

Pretty good! The chapter did get a little jumbled, but I understood what was going on Despite the loss of my hand-eye coordination, I'm still pretty talented at painting words onto grains of rice.. Great work on this, I can't wait to read the next chapter!

Great work! I am enjoying what I'm reading.

The only thing I will say, just as consrtuctive criticism, is to try to define what's going on a little more and to make each thing flow a little easier into each other. I think that's what red.yoshi was getting at, but then again, I'm not good at reading people's minds over the internet . Other than that, it's looking awesome *Big thumbs up directed to zuna*

Anyways, great job, and I look forward to reading what you have next!!!

Chapter two

When Kiara arrived in Twilight trail, she looked at the group. "Oh, I'm sorry, was I intrrupting?" She asked.

"Anybody have a taser?" Tamesis asked. Lucky just stared at him.

"What? fine..." The bob-omb mumbled before blowing up. Since he was near Crystal, this startled her awake.

"Oh, Crystal. Nice to see you again.." Kiara said, smiling.

"Who are you and how do you know my name?" She asked.

"Follow me.." The shapeshifter said, walking to where Twilight town was. Crystal followed behind, but before they left, Lucky yelled. "Don't go, sis!"

He said that at the exact same time that Tamesis broke the door open and Kerry stepped out. Kerry, Tamesis, and Doopliss stared at him wide-eyed. Kiara and Crystal did the same thing.

"N-Nevermind.. It's just that.. You have the same name my sister has.. I haven't seen her in seven years.." The Crazee Dayzee said. After Kiara and Crystal left, Tamesis yelled "What were you thinking--"

"Shut up, bro!" Kerry interrupted.

Chapter three

"Wait up!!' Lucky went after the two girls.

"Ok That's it. I'm gonna knock that shapeshifter down with my fist!" Kerry yelled.

"You don't have any hands.." Tamesis said.

"He has a point there.." Doopliss muttered.

"You win this round.. I SHALL GET MY REVENGE!!" Kerry yelled. Right after that, Mario showed up.

"Was I interrupting? 'Cause it looked like I was--" Mario began, but stopped to look at Doopliss.

"You.."

"Don't hit me!" Doopliss backed away.

"Alright, break it up before you guys start a fight!" Tamesis yelled, glaring at both of them.

"Sorry.." Mario frowned.

Rogueport sewers

Lucky stared at the sapphire orb. "What does this do?" he asked. he was about to touch it when kiara yanked it away.

"Be careful with that! it takes away your memory-- I mean, it's fragile, so don't break it!" Kiara said.

"Okay.."

When Kiara set it down, Crystal picked it up when she wasn't looking. One looked at it, and she had a flashback after setting it down.

Rogueport sewers

"Hi. my name's Crystal. What's yours?"

"My name's Kiara. nice to meet you."

Crystal looked at the sapphire orb Kiara was holding.

"Can I see that?"

"Sure." Kiara handed her the orb.

Just before the bright flash of blue happened, Kiara muttered "Say goodbye to your memory."

As soon as it stopped, Crystal dropped it, and blacked out. But just before that, Kiara said "Wow, I can't believe it actually worked."

Crystal dropped the orb and glared at Kiara. "You stole my memory?!" She yelled.

Lucky's eyes widened.

"Oh, you found out, huh? looks like we'll have to fix that.." Kiara frowned before Morphing into Nastasia.

Both Crystal and Lucky screamed before Kiara used the super hypnotic powers.

Chapter four

Mario, Doopliss, Tamesis and kerry had been wandering through Rogueport sewers or a while now.

"Where do you think our sister is?" Kerry asked.

"Forget it. She probably died five years ago.." Tamesis muttered.

Kerry glared at him. "NEVER say that in front of me, EVER!!"

"This is a really bad time to argue, guys.. now break it up!" Mario said.

"By the time we get out little bro back, you're DEAD, Tamesis." Kerry thought.

Lucky showed up then.

"OSNAP. Lucky! Where'd you come from?!" Kerry yeleld out of randomness. Tamesis took a frying pan out of nowhere and slapped kerry with it.

"This could be a trap.." Doopliss mmbled.

"Which one of you guys is gonna fight me? but first, you'd have to answer my question.." Lucky smiled, pointing at Kerry. "You."

"What?! I'm not fighting my lil bro.. fine.. The rest of you go.." Kerry said. Mario, Doopliss, and tamesis nodded before they walked away.

"Okay.." Lucky began. "You're driving a train, and 130 peoplr get on. Next stop, 50 people get off and 1000 people get on. Next, 400 peple get off, and 500 people get on. Finally, 90 people get off and 45 people get on." He could see that kerry was quickly writing it down on a piece of paper. "The question is: What color are the driver's eyes?"

Kerry's eyes widened and he put the paper away. He snapped out of it after that and blurted out "Hah! Trick question! nobody can tell what color my eyes are!"

"Great. now we fight.." Lucky took out a frying pan, and so did Kerry (Where did they get the frying pans? XD).

meanwhile.. at the same time that Lucky had explained the question, the trio exited through the warp pipe, ending up in Rogueport town, eastern side.

There, Mario saw Zuna and Kiara with the orb.

"I don't get it. how could you have et the girl pick it up?"

"Sorry, Zuna. I had no idea she was going to do that."

Both of them looked at the orb.

"Part of the memory is gone.. Do you think?" Zuna began.

"Don't worry.. I took care of it.." Kiara smiled.

"Okay.."

"ZUNA!!" There was a yell comng outta nowhere. Zuna's eyes widened. She recognized that voice. "Osnap.. Anna.."

"I thought I took you down a year ago! What're you doing here?!" The pink Yoshi yelled, growling.

"You were wrong.. my sister found my knocked out.. And what're you doing here? aren't you supposed to be at your home island by now? Oh, wait. I forgot. it was destroyed."

"Yes, and THIS is all your fault!"

"Oh, and where's your boyfriend?"

"Sarmad's my friend.."

Both Anna and Zuna walked away so they could argue about it somewhere else.

Tamesis blinked. "What the heck was that all about?" he asked. Doopliss and Mario just shrugged.

Kiara was left with the orb.

"the orb.." Tamesis looked at it. "It steals memories. get it!!" He was the only one headed for the orb, when he was stopped by Crystal's thunder bolt.

"Sorry, but you're gonna have to go through me.." She said.

Kiara silently ran off with the orb while Crystal distracted them.

"You go." Tamesis told Doopliss.

"Me?! I can't fight a GIRL!" Doopliss yelled.

"Just do it!"

"Fine.."

"Lets go before The Shapeshifter goes too far.." Tamesis whispered. Marionodded, and both of them ran away before they got hit in the head by a frying pan.

Where the heck do those frying pans keep coming from?! XD And since when did Lucky and kerry carry a fryng pan around with them? This is possibly another random chapter..

Well, it may be random, but it does connect with your other story that I've read from you.....I think...maybe? >.< Bah, my mind is fried today with Brawl coming out...

But nevertheless, nice work. Though the frying pans are random, the plot's moving right along. Can't wait for the next one!

well, Anna made a guest appearence, so she'll show up in another chapter soon.. xD she can't be in every chapter, anyways.. Sarmad'll also make a guest appearence, but only for a while.. I found it funny that kerry and Lucky were gonna use frying pans as their weapons. What can I say? I'm a bit random.

Chapter 5!!

"Aww man! We lost her!" Tamesis complained. Mario just blinked.

"What? just guesed that the orb happened to steal memories. I actually have no idea what it does.."

"Riight.." Mario muttered.

Kerry came back, with a bandage on his head. "DANG.. Who knew my lil brother could beat me at a frying pan battle?"

Mario looked at Kerry. "You guys used frying pans as your weapons?"

"yup.. not surprised?"

Doopliss came back, frowning. "I let her beat me.." He said.

Tamesis glared at him. "You did WHAT?!"

"I told you! I can't fight a girl!"

"You're pathetic.."

"Take that back!"

Kerry growled, hitting Tamesis and Doopliss with a frying pan. "Both of you quit it!"

"You know what was weird?"

Mario, and Tamesis looked at Kerry and Doopliss.

"I could tell the girl had no past by the look in her eyes." Doopliss said.

"The same thing happened to me, but when I told Lucky that I was his older bro, he said he had no brother.." Kerry explained.

Tamesis's eyes widened.

"How does one's memory be drained?" He asked himself.

"Any idea what he's doing?" Mario asked. Kerry just shook his head. Doopliss, well, he couldn't think of anything.

"Judging by what Kerry and the bedsheet said, I'd probably say that the orb really did steal memories. But what would happen if we broke it?" Tamesis asked himself.

"I heard that!" Doopliss yelled.

"What? are ya irritated that I called you a bedsheet?"

".. yes.."

"Wow.. you really are childish.."

"..."

Here's chapter 6!

Later that night

While Mario, Doopliss, Tamesis and Kerry have been at the inn, Kiara, Lucky, and Crystal were behind it (You know, the alleyway? right behind the Inn, and Zess T.'s house?).

"The Bob-omb's onto us.." Kiara muttered.

"Why?" Lucky asked, confused.

"I overheard him saying something about my orb.."

"Oh.."

Without Kiara realizing it, the sapphire orb rolled over to where Crystal was.

"Huh?" Crystal picked it up, blinking in confusion. shrugging, she put it away.

That same moment, Kiara realized she dropped it, and was about to pick it up where it was before it rolled, but realized it was gone. "Who took my orb?!" She yelled.

Lucky shrugged. "Why would I even want the orb anyways? I already got a frying pan as my weapon.." He said, taking the frying pan out.

"Good point.." Kiara muttered, looking at Crystal after that. Since Lucky couldn't have taken it because he has his hands full with a frying pan, she guessed that Crystal took it. "GET HER!" She yelled.

"I didn't take it!" Crystal yelled, pulling a Bandit out of nowhere. "He took it!" After she said that, she ran off.

Meanwhile, at the Inn...

"I still don't know how the orb could possibly steal memories, I mean, it's practically impossible.." Kerry said.

"Probably, but.. Maybe you're wrong.. Remember when twilight town was covered by darkness?" Tamesis asked.

"That was the Shadow Queen.." Mario explained.

"The Shadow Queen?! Wicked.." Kerry said. Tamesis took Kerry's frying pan and whacked him with it. "That wasn't good!"

Doopliss was the only one who noticed Crystal come in. She appeared to be panicking.

"You cat tell her, or the flower I'm here.." She said.

Tamesis and Kerry looked at her. "Why?" They asked.

"I took the orb.. The shapeshifter seemed to drop it."Crystal took out the orb, frowning.

"Mind if I see that?" Tamesis asked.

"Uh.. sure why not?" Crystal handed him the orb.

"Sweet." Tamesis began to study it.

"Is everything alright?" The Innkeeper asked, smiling.

"Yeah." Mario said.

That's the end of the chapter. It's weird that Tamesis had taken sudden intrest into the orb.. XD Oh, and by "Her" and "the Flower" that Crystal mentioned, she was talking about Kiara and Lucky.. she just doesn't know their names yet.
