At this moment, Drurziek was intensely annoyed with this intruder. As it laid a hand on Drurziek's sword, Drurziek gave a quick nudge of the sword away from the invader and returned the sword's altitude to the invader's face. "I don't follow orders from people like you. And if you'll excuse me, I'm about twenty seconds to driving this blade through your skull, so I advise that you beat it."
Meanwhile, in the back of Drurziek's mind, he was screaming in his thoughts to Leoshi. Leoshi, knock it off with the questions and just beat this goon with that thing!

Yoshiken was listening to the whole situation but had not raised his voice, because he wanted to see what the team was up against. After getting enough information, he finally asserted himself to the front of the group. "Well, well, well, it seems that we have a thorn in our side. You sure have a funny way of greeting someone. Anyways, I would be mindful in threatening this particular group of individuals, for their skills are far greater than what you would assume from their outward appearance. Under-estimating our talents will be your downfall."
Yoshiken swiftly pulled out his katana, and held it on the opposite side of the head where Drurziek held his sword, "What do you want with that sword? and why do you expect us to follow you with such threats?"

Of course I was immensely grateful to my friends for coming to my aid. Throughout the whole thing while this burglar argued and acted smug with the others, I was trembling not with fear, but with outrage. Who the heck was this guy, anyways? Why did he think he could take us all on? Finally, my anger and impatience grew too much to bear at the man's cockiness. As Yoshiken was giving him another question, my arm flew out and punched him in the side on the head. I heard a satisfying crack as my calloused, tough fist connected with his ear.

OOC: My character is actually wearing a helm that conceals his entire head.
" I'd know if you were all weak if you all attacked right away. Now point your swords somewhere other than me. I have what I came for-" That was when he felt Yoshee punch him, hard.
" You little rat!" He went stiff, trying to walk forward. He staggered and fell backwards, unconscious. Standing where he was before was a pitch black figure, with pure yellow lights as eyes.
" If it wasn't for his resisting, you would be dead. We'll meet again, Yoshee.Do what you want with Nathaniel here. I have no more use for him." With that said, the figure disappeared, and the man who was no longer possessed began to stir.
OOC: Things change from here. Personality changes too.

(Oop, my mistake. I'll remember that next time. But I do punch hard, hehe.)
I growled at the figure in reply before he disappeared. I didn't quite understand what exactly just happened, but I supposed the human was now harmless. I knew I probably wouldn't have stood a chance if my friends weren't there, which made me nervous that the thing had said we would meet again. My racquet was pretty battered by now, and would need to be fixed soon. Weapons were out of the question for me, since I was too stubborn to use anything but the racquet. "Tie him up," I told Yoshiken, Drurziek, and Leo. "We should make sure he's not a threat before we do anything." I suddenly felt like I knew what to do, even though I was only guessing. I felt more... alive. I was glad I'd be on first watch before the adrenaline wore off.

Leo gasped and finally lowered both of his arms down to his sides. The pan dropped from the air, down onto the ground. He was left breathing rather heavily.
"I have never used that technique out of practice." he thought. "...at least I know I still have to work on it." He was surprised how drained his newfound telekinetic abilities had been draining him. If anything, Leo needed means of focus.
He attempting to catch his breath, nodding to Yoshee as he did. "Aye." He reached into his backpack, taking out an emergency line that he would use to secure his ship's sails. It wasn't the strongest of things, but it would hopefully do the job.
"Sorry for not acting sooner." he said between breaths. "I was trying to avoid confrontation if it could be done. Seriously though, what was going on anyway?"

The series of events following Drurziek's latest warning puzzled the blue Yoshi; an even stranger dark figure seemed to escape from the body of the intruder. The new dark figure disappeared before Drurziek could have any idea on an identity. Drurziek was stunned, shocked, and confused; he stared in puzzlement as he let his sword fall to the ground.
After about forty seconds of awe, Drurziek picked his sword back up and tossed it back in his tent, just in time to help Leoshi tie up the "corpus" of the bizarre invader. Leoshi had once again asked the question he had be repeating for the entire duration of the confrontation with the strange figure. Drurziek gave him a useless, but, nevertheless, an answer: "I have no clue."

It was just a painful blackness. He heard many voices before, saw many visions, during that long wait. Was he free? Dead? Unconscious? He couldn't move. He didn't know his own name. He only remembered what happened one day that led to all this.
1000 Years Ago...
" You will never enter it!" It was a strange looking gate, a portal in the mountains. It was opening, and Silon was in his way. " Move out of the way. I will be the first to find out what is beyond that gate. It's no wonder that you are just a yellow eyed skulking shadow of your former self."
" It was worth it. I gained more power. Everybody always thinks that darkness is evil." Silon hissed.
" You call your powers dark? They're not even elements." " That doesn't matter. They will be. Once I use you!"
All he remembered after that was Silon raising a hand.
Nathaniel opened his eyes, taking in the sight of a camp. It was all out of focus, blurry. He only noticed that he was tied to the trunk of a tree. With emergency line from a ship? Who did these captors think he was?
With ease, he snapped the wires, but found standing up difficult. He swayed, trying to walk forward, as his sight grew stronger. He began seeing the camp more clearly...

After our little battle, I made sure everyone settled down. I was happy enough being first watch, since I wasn't tired in the least. The last sun's rays were finally deciding to dip below the horizon, but I could still see well enough. It would be another half hour yet before I needed the light of our campfire. I heard a snapping sound behind me and knew it would be the lines we had used to tie the burglar up. "Hey," I said to him without turning around. No need to wake the others yet, in case I could handle it myself. Only if it got out of hand again would I actually call for help.

From where I was, I could see someone tied up. Someone seemed to be standing in front of them, so I decided to announce my preasence.
"Who are you?" I called out to the standing Yoshi.
