~Dawn of Darkness RP~

"It's great to be back!" I said joyously as I came up from behind Yoshee.

"So, Mecha, how long are you staying this time?" the apple vendor asked me casually.

"Long enough to get some supplies, then, Red, Yoshee, Shyguy, and I are off to put a stop to Bowser's plans for good." I told him.

[DanteEX]

I stopped walking and turned around. "Stop Bowser's plans?" I asked. "Since when was I part of this?"

[Lord of the Dance]

I faced the Shy Guy after snatching an apple from the stand and tossing a coin onto the counter. "Well, if you want to be eaten by someone who doesn't ask questions, then nobody's stopping you from leaving us," I explained to him boredly, pulling a speck of dust off my apple.

[DanteEX]

I sighed and agreed. "Okay then." Then I brought up, "And I've been wondering how this Bowser looks for a while."

[Lord of the Dance]

I tried to remember what the King of Koopas looked like in the one picture I had seen him in. He had seemed more awesome than to stoop as low as to try and conquer the world by magic and demons. For the first time I doubted Red a little, but then I remembered the Shy Guy was waiting for an answer.
"He's kinda yellowish, and has a big green shell with spikes on it. He has red hair..." I explained. The picture had been pretty blurry.
I wrapped my tongue around my apple and downed it in one swift swallow.
I decided to change the subject after a few seconds. "You got a name, or are we just gonna call you 'the Shy Guy' all the time?"

[DanteEX]

I thought for a few second and answered, "Well, all I can remember is 'Shy guy'." Then I quickly added, "How much gold coins does an apple cost?"

[Lord of the Dance]

So he wanted to play "dodge the subject" too.
"I dunno. One should do it, it's just an apple," I replied boredly. "We should see if Mecha's ready to go- if we stay any longer we're going to have to waste another night here."
I was itching to get going- my extremities still tingled unpleasantly whenever I thought about that demon from yesterday, and now I was wondering what had happened to that Renard guy. I wanted to hurry up and save the world, or at least do something other than stand here and make small talk with a Shy Guy who didn't even know what he was doing here.
And with that thought I turned, marched back to the apple stand, and poked Mecha in the back of the head. "We going or not?"

[red.yoshi]

Red came bounding back to the group with a pretty impressive halberd slung across his back. It's blood red blade seemed to glow in the new born sunlight. The pole of the long weapon was silver. Red also had a small brown pouch of gold pieces - what was left over from the sea shells he collected when the group landed on the mainlands. He offered the remainder of the gold to the rest of the small group even though he himself was also a bit anxious to get growing as darkness slugged its way across the land.

"Yeah, I'm ready." I answered Yoshee. "We should get going now."

[Nv. 2993]

OOC: I hate the fact that my imagination comes up with different ideas so fast that I can't even post. And as for my current display name, this post will explain that. I'll start where I left off.

IC: It soon became clear that the rest of the group wasn't coming straight for Tirvite City. Well, they would be coming sooner or later.
" Were you listening to anything I said?" the guard asked. Isaac didn't feel like turning around. He just went on to stare at the dark sky.
" I guess that means you are not him then, right Saldon?" He whirled around in shock, and the last he saw was the guard swinging a club at his face.

It was dawn. He was sitting in the lounge of an inn.
" There is no sleeping on the sofa, you know." Adrian got up to face the person who spoke to him. The innkeeper's expression changed very quickly when he saw his face.
" Renard? Sorry, I didn't know it was you. It's been seventeen years since I've seen you." Seventeen years? That meant he was probably 31 years old by now. He walked to a mirror and saw how much he had changed. He was taller, and more muscular. His hair was messier, but still dark brown. He had no idea where he had gotten his clothes though. He was wearing an aged traveller's jacket, on top of that was a chain mail armor vest, and a black hooded cloak.
" Listen, some people were in the kitchen last night and destroyed most of my plates. I need you to find a red cybernetic yoshi and his friends. I'll give you enough money to feed yourself for ten weeks."
" Well, you haven't changed a bit, when it comes to revenge. Alright Gerrard, I'll be back."

The small town wasn't bustling at this hour, and he instantly found the cybernetic red yoshi and three others by an apple stand. Well that was easy. He wen't up to Yoshee, and not knowing that she would recognize him, tapped her on the shoulder.

[Lord of the Dance]

I jumped about a foot in the air when some guy tapped me on the shoulder.
"YAAAGH! Who the heck are you?" I whirled around and poked my index finger in his face.
I recognized the guy suddenly. I saw it in his eyes.
"You... you're..." I spluttered, pulling my hand back from his face. "Coward!" I hissed at him finally. I couldn't manage to get any other words out, though. You left us in that forest! I wanted to rage at him, but my mouth had stopped working properly from shock.

[Nv. 2993]

" Coward? I've been in a coma for seventeen years, I never met you. You probably saw somebody else who looks like me. I have relatives, you know." He said, not at all shocked at how this complete stranger reacted to seeing him.

[Lord of the Dance]

I stared at the guy's face. Now that I looked at him, he did look rather paler than the other Yoshi, as if he hadn't been outside in a long time.
"Ah... uh..." I stammered. How embarrassing- I had gotten people mixed up again. "Well, then your family sure didn't treat us nice," I finished lamely. "What do you want, then?" I asked. "You just said you'd been in a coma for seventeen years- I'm not even that old. So why did you find me?"

[red.yoshi]

Red was surprised to see Renard. He wondered if Renard would travel with them to seek justice over the lands.

[Nv. 2993]

" I think I had some kind of dream, where a magikoopa wearing red robes kept telling me to look for you. He looked a little angry, and he was mubmling to himself about some demon. So who else is with you?"

[mecharedyoshi]

"Wait a minute." I mused. "You are the same Renard that traveled with us. You have the exact same scent." I closed my eyes for a moment and smirked. "And no two yoshis have the exact same scent. Although everything else is differant, the scent is the same. Are you a shapeshifter or something?" I asked casually. But then I thought of something else. "Unless that other Renard was a shapeshifter, because now that I think of it, your scent is slightly differant."

[Lord of the Dance]

"These two are with me," I started, motioning towards Red and Mecha on either side of me. "And then there's another guy with us..."
I checked over my shoulder to make sure the Shy Guy hadn't been eaten or something.

(I'm gonna be leaving for school, so feel free to go ahead without me. I'll just hang out in the back until I next get on. Don't wait for me, though.)

(OOC) Ok, thanks for the warning.

"Now that introductions are over," I blurted out, "Can we continue?"

Red nodded. "We better do something quick about whats happening here. Is everyone ready to leave? Does everyone have the supplies they need?"
