Scales are good though, maybe cos Dragons are cool, but I prefer fur.

In essence this poll is a question which really brings to face many type of pondering thoughts; so very nice addition there Gem. For, one thing that seems to be between people is the factor of "Furry and/or Scaley" as you placed. It's interesting really, merely because in aspect most "Furry" dwellers try to place Scaley under the same name; which together it could in fact be. However, this depends figuratively upon how the terms are taken; at moments, some configure the word defined to Furry as Anthropomorphic. Now, the meaning behind such states a being that is inhuman is given mans characteristics. Such practices were heavy in the era of Pagan beliefs; from the time of Greeks to the settlements of the Norse, the two heavily situated some of their Gods as Animals which could walk, talk, and act like any living mortal could persist. Since that, majority have implanted the word "Furry" to mean the same thing, merely because the fandom works for those who enjoy Anthropomorphics. Scalies fall under the same catagory, and at times can be confused by the media and others to be the same facet as a Furry. But, as you stated the two are actual different points of view; for while they might strive to be humane, their appearance and features are completly oppisite of each other. Within a fandom though, choosing between both still states an adoration toward the Anthropomorphics.
Scalies as introduced by many are similar in attributes to Furries, only because of their abilities. Physical placement disjoints the two from socket; giving another type of balance for the fence to turn upon. It seems that by observation the justice behind the Scaly is given infact by the scales themselves; how they lay out is up to the user and their prefrence. Of course, Amphibians don't have scales so Lizards wouldn't infact be part of the grouping; however they remain due to the essence of other parts which stick to their motions. Most Scalies come intact with tails, that of which give perception away from furries merely because they are straight and thin; of course though without the daint of fur they can't fluff up and enlarge. Simple ways to digest the two are to place them together, Furries of course are lined with "Fur" as Scalies are usually in the phylums of Amphibia, Reptillia, and even going back to Echinoderms that travel as fishes. Most Furs can be found within Mammalia, however due to the growth that has likely changed and they can alter to even more outputs. Both loves for the two have definetly grown in time, they've picked up popularity and because of such their main influence is constantly undergoing change. Yet, there are those out there who remain true to the start and seem to have knowledge upon the base.
Usually the way you construct your persona gives an eyesight into your likes and dislikes. These can be bountied from any true plug, yet what you choose is up to your prefrence. It can be the slick skin, or it can turn it's head for the "Fluffy wuffy" between your fingers. You could adore the status of "Scent" for either sides, whatever your imagination tells you. Personas and such groupings are what keep our youthful sides out. While it might not seem so large, it does burrow into our minds and give hopes and pushes through things. We may not know exactly why we enjoy what we do, it may seem foreign in instances; peculiar to be pressured. Yet, for some reason more and more keep flowing in such directions. It's a captivating fandom; usually based on ill-regard that is flown from the wrong type of intrest. While everything might have it's downsides, the fandom for these two has it's ups. It depends on how you show it, and what you put into it and believe through it.

I personally love being furry. Seems that most love fluffy fur, especially me, and there is just something about wolves that I absolutely adore ^^

I acculy like ''slimy'' or ''bloppy'' if they are cute little blobs. In fact shells and skin is nice, maybe becouse yoshis have skin and have shells, heh. But in fact this poll was made for scaley and furry stuffs, right? So ill have to maybe go with furry, i dont know if it is becouse i like wolves, or becouse i like soft stuff! I was gonna pick scaley first, becouse it is ''tough'' and ''cool'', or for the fact dragons have scale.
Mixed it is!
Edit: I like mix becouse i thought about some ganondorf dragon, ^^
