(Wow, China? Good luck out there.
Anyway, I'm back from my vacation. When Yoshee comes back, we'll bring this thing back into full swing. Thanks for sticking with us in the meantime!)

Champ quirked an eyebrow at Moot. "Hurry up, Slug's waitin'. It's gonna be crowded though, you should all go." Karth would find his fins empty- Slug jingled the tracking device against his robes from farther down the cave hall. Dim electric lighting could be gleaned from around a corner. Champ sniggered and headed down after him. "Iunno if ya'll know what we're gettin' into here," Slug grumbled. "It's gonna be crowded 'n' lit. Jus' blend in and try t'clean off all that blood stuff." "Butchers," Champ hissed under his breath.

"I just hope that we can take Kyral by surprise. That way we might have the element of surprise on our side. And God knows that we are all gonna need it." Syleena said. She kept holding onto Teal's leather jacket tightly. She was careful not to bump into the side of the cave walls so she wouldn't trip. "Anyway, what's he doing over there? I wonder if he is doing some creepy ancient ritual to use voodoo dolls on us. That would be freaky." Syleena said. She tried to squint up ahead, hoping upon hope that she could see at least something that might help her comrades, so she can be helpful for once.

Karth furrowed his eyebrows upon learning he no longer had the tracking device, and that Slug had it. "Huh... sly bugger, aren't ye..." He turned to Syleena. "... yes. That's the point of the element of surprise. By taking him surprise. ... Gods." He threw his fins up into the air, following Slug. "Never ye mind, daft lot..."

As Teal heard what the group was saying about Kyral he began to piece together in his head a possible scenario that could've happened between himself and Kyral. He still had some doubts however about the cause of his amnesia and his transformation having any connection to this prominent figure.
Teal felt Syleena clinging to his leather jacket. He felt positive about helping this group in any way possible. "They did take me in while in my time of need," he thought to himself. "I wonder if they like having me around. They could've ignored me on that road. They also had the opportunity to reject me when I reunited with them at the league." Teal heard Champ mutter something that sounded like he's calling them butchers. Since he's trying very hard to not make any sounds by talking or his movement he saved a question about that for Champ to ask him later. "I need to find a way to repay the favor," he continued to think. "I will continue to assist them in this mission while I try to figure this out. I'll take the opportunity when it comes up."

Syleena closed her eyes and listened to the conversations around her, ignoring anything that would make her snap. In the back of her mind, her confidence was wavering just a little bit. She hadn't had any experience with fighting up against wizards. She wondered if she could have possibly met him that day out in the field. There were tons of questionable people out there. "Do you think that Kyral knows that we are coming? We might not have the element of surprise anymore." she ignored whatever the hell Champ said. In the actions that she had sometimes seen, it sometimes crossed her mind that Champ might be leading them into a trap.

Teal looked around his surroundings paying attention to the structure of the cave walls. When the group got closer to the lit area he examined the walls, ceiling, and floor for any implements that would indicate an armed trap. Teal's fear of the dark and Sylenna's mention of a trap got him paranoid.
He felt there was no more pain in his cuts so he stopped for a moment to remove the bandages. He figured Sylenna can see now because of the lit area in front of them. All his injuries are completely healed at this time however he was a little tired. He knew that another battle is possible and the group is in enemy territory so he put up with it and tried to pretend he wasn't tired. He became hungry and thought about eating the next small enemy he encounters.

The group could already hear voices as they approached and the light grew to be more than enough to see by. Their feet touched old raggedy carpet after another fifteen feet and a party could be heard from around the corner easily. The group approached a huge party in a huge room just a few feet down at the end of the hall. Slug had already melted into the mess of dancers, but Champ waited and made a scooping motion before hugging the wall and slipping silently into the dancing crowd. The odors from a wide variety of drinks clung to the air, made stale by all the voices and lack of circulation in the wide hall. A familiar red hat bobbed and weaved through the crowd, easily lost in the moving sea with the dim, drab lighting, but not invisible.

As soon as Syleena walked into the party, her mouth almost dropped down to the floor. "What the hell is this? Villains Gone Wild? I thought for sure that he was plotting something. Plotting a party obviously." Syleena rolled her eyes. "Oh look it. There he is." Syleena slipped into the party of dancers as best as she could and started to dance her way over. She kept her eyes focused on the hat, and tried to finagle her way over. "OK Kyral. Let's see what you are up to." she danced slowly, trying to see if she could sneak up on him. She didn't pull her dagger out yet, for fear of stabbing and innocent person.

"Huh... guess that explains where everybody else went. Door guards never stood a chance." Karth thought to himself, stepping behind his comrades. He motioned with his fins to himself, muttering something that seemed like an incantation... and simply vanished from sight, under the effects of an invisibility glamer effect spell.
He tried to move to a safe vantage point where he could see all the action - while his spell would last him a while, the effect would end immediately if he took some sort of offensive action like an attack, so he had to make this count.
And then he waited.

Teal laughed nervously and thought to himself, "I guess we'll be chillin with the villians for now." Teal tried hard to blend in but depending on the atmosphere he might have some difficulty because of the bulky weapons slung on his back. He spotted some party food and made his way over there. ^ ^ He started eating some fruit pieces. He was right near Kyral but Kyral doesn't recognize Teal.

Most of the partying villains had left their weapons along the walls, preferring to step lightly in the crowd. However, the group was still in danger of squashed toes or pile-ups. Or a total sensory overload- way too many people moving and way too many noises and too much food. The only good vantage points for Karth would be either sharing a table with resting bandits or the sturdy bar-like area built against the wall on the right, which was slightly quieter. Kyral was seated there, staring out at the crowd with a deeply troubled frown. Teal was off to Kyral's right. He didn't even have to look closely to see the three huge gashes across the whole right side of Kyral's face. The raw skin had blackened and spread, making an ugly dark bruise that blood slowly oozed from and darkened the collar of his cloak. Slug was slowly creeping towards Kyral from the left, the tracking device poised in his hand, if Teal cared to look past the Magikoopa. Champ was nowhere to be found. But then again, he was short and most of the dancing thugs were more than three feet tall. Syleena would not be able to get closer without Kyral's notice.

Yoshiken noticed Teal and Slug approaching Kyral from different directions. He decided that he would be more useful as backup at this moment, and slowly approached the bar where Kyral was seated. Yoshiken deeply hoped that he wouldn't be remembered from the first encounter. However, he had a lot of confidence in himself because he never even approached Kyral back then, not to mention that the lighting and the atmosphere of the party would help to keep him concealed even if he had been observed in the past.
Yoshiken casually sat down two spots away from Kyral. He kept to himself at first, but would glance over at Kyral every once in a while from the corner of his eye. Yoshiken couldn't help but stare at the gashes across Kyral's face. They seemed absolutely horrifying, at least to him. Kyral must have barely survived whatever kind of attack was made on him, or so Yoshiken thought.
Despite all of that, The plan was going very smoothly.

Teal glanced over to his left and realized he was sitting right next to the group's target: Kyral. He twitched in surprise. He saw the ugly injury and saw Yoshiken sitting a couple seats away from Kyral and Slug approaching to plant the tracking device. He figured he needs to take this opportunity to distract Kyral. Teal stopped looking and formed a quick idea in his head. He looked at his plate of fruit and then saw some chili peppers in a bowl at arms reach. He hoped he can try to start a game or contest with the partygoers to create a diversion.
Teal waited until the group was close enough to make their move. When the time came he moved a few chairs away from Kyral, grabbed some peppers, chucked them in his own mouth, and then loudly belched out a blast of fire. "Haha! Did you see that? Who can top that!?" Teal shouted excitedly. He hoped this would catch peoples' attention especially Kyral. It's possible though that it didn't impress anyone.

Kyral was keeping to himself until Teal's outburst of fire. The dancers closest to Teal stopped to glare at his interruption. One grabbed for his weapon and approached the bar, but Kyral slid up next to Teal and threw his arm around the Yoshi's shoulders. "Ha ha! You're so obnoxious," He tried a grin at the approaching Whomp. It grumbled and stepped back and the party went on. Kyral squeezed Teal's arms to his body and clamped his other claw around the Yoshi's chin, forcing his mouth shut. The Magikoopa was surprisingly strong if Teal struggled, but the situation didn't necessarily call for it. He got in close and spoke quietly, grimacing. "You must be new. In that case, don't call attention to yourself. You look puny and people here are always itching to prove they're the best. You really don't want to start a fight in this room. It gets ugly real quick. Got it?"
Slug grumbled to himself in the crowd, readying the tracking gun. Teal was too close to Kyral to get a clear shot.

"Well, this bursts a bubble that we had all planned on using to get him out of here." Syleena said under her breath. She went around him and picked up the first blunt object that she could find. "I can only hope that I can get him before he injures Teal." she said quietly to herself. Once she got the blunt object, she danced over to Kyral trying to avoid him looking at her. Whenever he turned around, she dissolved back into the crowd. As soon as she was able to get close enough to him without giving herself away, she picked the blunt object up, and SMASHED it down on his head in an attempt to stun him. If she couldn't get close enough, she would continue trying to get over to him without being caught.

Karth watched these shenanigans from whatever spot he could find, away from other dancers or whoever else. He didn't want to end up bumping into anybody and giving his position away, and kept his back to a wall to avoid being run into from behind.
When he saw what Teal and Syleena doing, while nobody else could see it due to his being invisible, he placed his fin onto his forehead and frowned. He just knew this would end horribly.

Up to this point Moot had hung around the edge of the room, not wanting to get too close in case Kyral recognised him from their earlier encounter and gave the whole game away.
It seemed like a simple enough plan. Get in, look inconspicuous, plant the tracking bug, catch up with Kyral later on. It was so simple nothing could possibly go wrong oh no wait somebody smashed something over Kyrals head.
Moot edged around closer to the rest of the party, as it was looking increasingly likely that they were going to have to haul ass out of there without Kyral.

"Got it...that was entirely my bad sir." Teal said to Kyral and then quietly went back to eating his fruit unharmed. Teal figured the bandits including Kyral see him as just a noisy new guy and the outburst is now behind everybody. He took a deep breath and wondered if the group had successfully planted the bug by now. Then he heard a WHAM! and saw what Sylenna did. His eyes dialated; he knew that an action like that will surely get the group in a horribly outnumbered fight.

Syleena's weapon fell into Kyral's clawed hand as he whirled around suddenly. He was much stronger than his opponent and pulled the stick down between the two of them to meet her eyes. His fury shone through his thick glasses. "That was... I don't even know. I can't even call it a mistake." He dug his other now-free hand into his pocket to reach for his own weapon. Champ, hidden in the crowd, chomped down on his claws and chewed. Slug snarled and picked that moment to fire the tracking device from the little gun-like receiver. The tiny needle dug its way into Kyral's thigh (nearly a miss) and the Magikoopa leaped to his feet with a yelp of surprise. His eyes widened at Syleena as he pulled out his wand. It flashed; instead of attacking Syleena, though, Kyral vanished into thin air, leaving the stick in her palm.
