Karth breathed a sigh of relief when Slug struck true - if he had missed, it would have ruined everything and they'd have no chance of catching him. With Kyral gone now, though, he decided to regroup with someone who was nearby and whose sanity he didn't actually question.
"Hey, Moot." Karth whispered, behind him. Unless Moot had supernatural vision, he could not see the invisible Karth. "It's Karth. Methinks we best find an escape route out of this joint quick-like, eh?" He quickly panned his eyes around, looking for a viable escape route. He remembered the way they came in was blocked and didn't recall seeing a mechanism to open it again.

Even though Moot couldn't see Karth, his hearing was more than good enough to know whereabouts Karth was in relation to him. Not bothering to turn around - because talking to what appeared to be nothing would have looked somewhat suspicious - he whispered back. "No doubt there... there has to be another way out of here, a back entrance or something."
Moot scanned the room quickly, but in the dim lighting nothing immediately appeared to be an exit of any sort. That, and there were too many people milling around to get an accurate view of the place. "There might be another route out of here along the way we came in, but I can't say I noticed anything."
He sidled around the slowiy room attempting to blend in, hoping to eye some way out of this mess. "If we're lucky we can get out of here with a minimum of fuss." He paused for a second, before finishing. "...If we're really lucky we might lose some of these amateurs for a while."

Karth rubbed his invisible beak. "Maybe... I got an idea. Wait here fer me, laddie." He leaves Moot, searching out for Slug. When he finds him, he makes sure nobody else is paying attention. "Hey, lad. Don't bother lookin' for me 'cause you won't see me. We need to make an exit, and I can't ask because they'll know I'm not with 'em, 'cause... race and all... can ye see about findin' an exit for us?"

After Kyral disappeared Teal started looking around for an exit. He casually walked around and also searched for the koopa who was with the group earlier. He asked a random bandit who didn't look like they would pick a fight with him, "Ey how do ya git outta ere? I gotta git up early tomorrow."
Teal personally didn't see many, if any yoshies besides himself and the ones he knows are in the group. It might be because yoshies are usually good natured to his knowledge. He hoped none of the partygoers would start talking to him about things irrelevant to the exit. There could be people who are now curious about Teal since Kryal's initial reaction after Teal's outburst. After all, Kyral did stop a whomp from chopping Teal's head off.

Confused faces pointed Teal toward the front entrance, the way the group had come through- they were not aware that the doors were blocked. Slug nodded to Karth and made his way around, asking about business entrances and the like. He eventually grabbed the first person he saw- Moot due to his unique appearance- and pulled him quietly over to the back wall, where hopefully the rest of the group would find them easily.

Karth kept track of Slug, following him along, and grouping with him and Moot at the backwall. He waited for the others to catch up, though he made no noise to indicate where he was.
It struck him as odd that Moot and Slug were able to pinpoint him easily. Perhaps this whole invisibility deal isn't as cracked up as he thought it to be sometimes.

Teal spotted Moot and Slug and made his way over to them. "So...now what?" He whispered.
Teal still wasn't sure if Kyral had something to do with his condition. Kyral didn't recognize him but Teal remembers seeing a sillouette that resembles him but it wasn't a friendly encounter. Teal became lost in thought.

Yoshiken followed Teal to where Moot and Slug were grouped against the back wall. He looked around to make sure that he wouldn't be heard by anyone other than his own allies. "Man, that was a close one. For a second there, I thought we would fail for sure," he spoke in a whisper.
Yoshiken looked around for others in the group that hadn't joined them yet, trying to signal to them to hurry over, without looking too conspicuous.

Champ quickly joined the growing group. Slug peered around a corner. "We'll get on outta here soon as everyone's around. We got ourselves a free ride this time. Ain't we lucky?" He grinned. Champ snarled at Yoshiken's comment. "Too close. Idiot's gonna get us all killed next time, I just know it. You can't be that... fortunate more than once."

"Lucky isn't the word I'd use..." Moot glanced over to where Syleena was, before focusing back on the group. "I think that girl needs a few lessons in subtlety. Bludgeoning somebody in the skull isn't a great way to blend in at a party."
He took a look back over at the party, where either nobody had noticed what had just went down, or they didn't care. Either way the amount of people in the room seemed a decent enough cover for now, although Moot wasn't too keen on spending a minute longer in this place than absolutely necessary considering the stunts some of the group had pulled. "What's this about a ride, anyway?"

"Maybe if we just go now, we can leave 'er behind and then not hafta worry about it, heh." Karth remarked. "Problem solved, laddies."

Since the fight hadn't escalated above one hit and mean looks, most people in the room had not taken notice of the group's mini-encounter. Champ flicked his ears in annoyance. "We don't have a ride. At least we don't have to fight our way out." Slug frowned. "Where'd the penguin... Karth run offt-oh. I guess she'll catch up, hangin' in here gives ol' Slug a case've th'headaches." He slipped around the corner into the dark and creaked open a door hidden in the wall. It was still pouring outside, and lightning lit up the sky, but chancing the storm would likely still be safer than hanging out in the cave any longer. Champ darted out before anyone could protest and stood in the rain. Slug sighed and adjusted his robes, pulling his hood as far over his mask as he could before stepping out.

Before exiting the cave Teal removed his jacket and put it in his weatherproof satchel. He looked down. "Hey guys...sorry if I screwed something up in there," he said in a low voice. "I guess I was trying too hard to blend in. That was too much of a close call." He was obviously shaken by the fact that the group experienced a near miss pulling this off.
Teal looked up into the moonlit cloudy sky. Then he looked at his spear and halberd which were pointing up from behind his shoulder. "It looks like I have a spare weapon besides my knife. I don't think I should keep all of them though because it would slow me down. I'm willing to risk losing the spear." he thought to himself. He was getting wet from the rain. Getting wet didn't bother him but he was getting cold. "We should find shelter...one that isn't a trap this time," he announced.
"Hey Slug," Teal whispered as he approached him. "Thanks for watching my back this morning. I knew you were there...following me through the city when I ran my errands. Those thugs...it would've been really bad if they defeated me in that alley and you weren't there."

Karth raced off after his partners in shenanigans, though the rain quickly gave his position away, if only slightly. Rain drops would hit a Bumpty shaped gap in the area. Once they were well clear of the place, though, he decided to dispel his Invisibility, fading back into view.
He didn't seem to particularly mind the rain - being in cold, unforgiving weather wasn't a strange prospect for him. "Aye, I'm here, lad. So much fer finding shelter, though... but we've got the tracker set up on Kyral now, aye? Can ye find out where he went after he jumped ship out of that place?"

Champ sighed and headed off down the road to search for a better shelter. "We may just hafta sit under a couple trees if we find any." Fortunately, a shallow cave was waiting for the group over the next small hill. Slug hurried along down the road and nodded to Karth as he hustled. "We'll find 'em once we get outta th'rain. Don't wanna get this thing wet." He looked over to Teal and seemed surprised. "Thugs?"

Teal gave Slug a confused look. "What...you were there watching weren't you? That koopa and goomba that tried to take my golden spear in the alley. Well I guess it's good you didn't see that part." Teal said while remembering the egg he laid.
"Well I know for sure someone was stalking me after the fight. It was someone that resembles you. I guess it was someone else then..." Teal looked at his surroundings for shelter.
Teal had thoughts that the docter was wrong about any transformation taking place. He started remembering that he was always a yoshi. His amnesia just happened to be a severe one. It still didn't make sence that no one recognizes him and the human that appears in his vision and dreams is still a mystery.

"Aye, that's a point there, lad..." Karth held his fin over his eyes to keep the rain out of his face. "Nobody catch a cold now! Last thing we need is anymore problems... we already left the worst ones behind, heh..."

Moot frowned a little as he went out into the pouring rain. "Apparently the weather around here gets just as bad as it does back in my hometown..." He shook some of the excess water off of himself, which did almost precisely nothing in the downpour except make him look even more of a soaking mess. "...At least our rain is warner than this."
He looked over at Teal for a second before brushing more water out of his eyes. "You got in a fight earlier too? What are you, some sort of magnet for trouble?"

Yoshiken put his hands over his pouches to try to keep them as dry as possible. They were waterproof, but some of the contents inside weren't. "I really hate the rain," he said in frustration.

Slug shrugged. "Don't really matter now, we're far out've the city." Champ sniggered at Yoshiken's and Moot's comments and hung at the back of the group. "Stop whining. Rain is fine." Lightning flashed and lit up the sky again, illuminating a much smaller cave- it wasn't much more than a hollow in the hill just ahead, but it would do for the time being. Slug scuttled off for it and crept as far in as he could get, shaking his gloves dry before pulling out the tracking device. It was sprayed with droplets from the rain, but still functional. Slug didn't seem sure how it worked, so Champ swiped it as soon as he caught up. "Gimme that thing."
