How'd your charcater came to be?

Bascially, Jay for me, does have a bit of me in him, though he does have a bunch of things I don't. For Example: His personality is smart, caring, aggressive, curious, and sometimes cofident. We share mostly everything except aggression and smarts. I was never a fighter since I never fought(a REAL fight) before, however, I usually get in fights with my cousin hand to hand. I'm lucky he never showed me his sword(He has one under his bed, but can't take it out because he has small children in his house). i'm going to ask him can I see it after he comes back.
Anyway, the smarts. Yea, I'm smart, mostly in Science. Math & English is not one of my strong suits.

I gave him a Dragon's abilty since I was a Dragon Fanatic since Age 8 watching any reality Dragon Movies(Not many were produced, so I lived off Dragonheart, Dragon Storm, Dragon Fighter, and Dragon Slayer). The Wind abilty came from the fact that most quizzes I took told me I was a Wind type. Also, Wind seemed really destructive, almost as much or as fire. And the last reason, I loved Beyblade when I was younger so I based it off of Dragoon, the Wind Dragon.

The weapon my character had was called the "Dragon Buster," mostly used to slay Dragons, but my character give it a few improvements. Jay hated Dragonslayers as much as I do, human or Dragon, he would get rid of any Dragonslayer that tried to carve a hide off a Dragon. Basically, I was thinking of giving him a Secondary Weapon, but nothing has came up. Maybe a pistol, but things have me concerned. I may give him a pistol, or another weapon, but I have no clue yet. People say that a Gun would be good. I was thinking a bow and arrows, but they say it ain't a good weapon...I still got nothig yet.

My character is pretty darn simple, as far as appearance goes. XD I'm surprised she hasn't been accidentally copied yet.

I actually put my character together way before I knew about this messageboard. I think it was seeing some bits of Yoshi art randomly floating around the internet that made me want to create make a character for myself. At first, I made myself a simple dark blue Yoshi, because that one SelectFree Yoshi quiz said I'd be a dark blue Yoshi. XD And then I thought I'd be more original so I made myself light blue (besides, it's my favorite color). I also added wings because the blue Yoshi in SMW was my top favorite. And, well, it'd be pretty cool to fly. I put hair for a tiny period of time, and then I thought it looked lame, so I ripped it.

Her boot color was the only last-minute thing. Someone asked me what her boot color was, but I hadn't picked one, so I just blurted out "dark blue". XD;

She's basically an embodiment of myself as a Yoshi, in the case of the eye color and my personality. Her white mage-like powers and staff, though, come from the YC RPG game that we began to make, but never finished back in the summer of 2004. Anybody remember that? XD It's a shame we never bothered to finish.

Oh, and the name "Anjil" comes from a nickname that my friends gave to me back in middle school, which comes from my real name "Angela." I'm sure plenty of people have made that connection already. ;P

My story is a bit stupid IMO. I started off at a polluted forum called Gametalk forums. I was known as "red yoshi of fire56", because red yoshi was my faorite one and some one put a topic up that compared the colors of yoshi's to enviorments and elements(EX. red=fire, brown=earth(mud),green=forests) eventually a member known as Y.E. brought up a topic saying to e-mail him for a better yoshi forum. I belive that Y.E. is Teo here so he's kind of my online hero. After that I became Fireblade who was conviniently a wingless yoshiken clone with a green headband. Out of respect I changed it to a holy based yoshi named L.D. (light dragoon) and eventually created a real name for L.D., Gene. L.D. was first a dragon but I decided that I should be a yoshi for a YOSHI forum. L.D. used to have armor on all the time but now that's just a costum change. At some point I decided to give L.D. a last name and it was Ryoko because Code: lyoko was one of my favortie shows at the time. Red yoshi of fire was evolved into Pyroshi Ryoko, L.D.'s older brother. L.D.(or Gene) is based on my self alot. arrogent, a little unconfident, and RANDOM 0_0. After Pyroshi and L.D./Gene were created, I went over boared in the creation department and have like 2 pages in my note book filled with mug shots of different characters I created. afterwords I created Gene's(too many L.D's >_<) younger brothers, Meket the soul thief, and Terrence the ice mage. I think I'm done now >_>

I would still do this, I have thought of it many times since that day... if I could get ample help to help me design, find, hell, even commision the sprites, I'd still be up for making this thing. It's jsut that I won't settle for a lower grade program.

Pawy represents me, as well. I have brown eyes in real life, and all. She also has a more extremified copy of my personality. Pawy allows me to do things I can't do in real life yet, and being close to her and feeling like she's an extension of me (which I do) is a nice enough substitute. For now.

It would be cool to have sprites, but the chances of finding a Anthromorphic Dragon sprite sheet are slim to none...

I used MS paint to make my avy (Using the pencil tool)

..Sprites? Anything that has a pencil tool and doesn't mess up the colors (by blurring them etc.) upon save is good for it, I believe.

Garuru beat me to it. Sprites don't need no fancy tools, just a workable save option and the pencil tool. PNG and GIF are the best for sprites, I think. BMP is workable, I hear (although I've never personally used this file type for anything. Ever), but I do know it's huge and actually has ruined my colors on some of my really freakin' old MS Paint art.

Oh YEAH! I always get that mixed up. XD; I got the idea for white mage abilities from FF Tactics, but the design idea for the staff came from the RPG. Sorry 'bout that. :D Can't wait to get FF Tactics!

Omg... Time for more of Moshi tottaly weird past!

First she started out as a simple spring green yoshi and she was very young looking with coughheroriginalblondehairbutnowitsdiedpurplecough. >.> And a silver yoshi necklace. Then I wanted to make her older looking and I was feeling a little depressed at the time so I gave her a skull shirt with small angel wings because I didn't want her to be evil. Then I got rid of the hair and gave her dragon wings and animal powers with the broken heart shirt and jeans and the cool gloves. Plus evilness. Now she has purple hair darker skin and black angel wings.

Keith started out as accident Moshi had and he was ment to be the oppisit of her. Then after KH2 I made him a nobody . Simple, no?

How my character turned out to be was my friends gave me the nickiname spike for my obsetion of spiking my hair in front. I liked yoshi, and my favorite color was blue. I said to myself, just add it to yo name. Spike is one of my favorite names now. XD For some reason when I was about 6 or 7 me and my friend made up a yoshi comic, based on the game that we played 24/7 Yoshi's Story. Then after that I havent mention yoshi for a few years then when I was drawing and that comic me and my friend made up was sitting in front of me when I didnt know what to draw. So i gave it a shot and kept going till now and always will. I'm suprised how far I've came.

[Rainbow Yoshi]

My character came to be from a lack of imagination. When I was six or seven, in 1998, I just was thinking about making a Yoshi character. I couldn't think of a name, any characteristics, or any discriptions. So, my lazy six year old (or was it seven year old?) brain decided to combine every Yoshi color into one: a rainbow. Then, I just named him RainbowYoshi. Yup, I was really chreative.

But then, I forgot about Rainbow for a long time. It was like, six or seven years later, when I was joining this forum in 2004. Then I thought about using him. But...then I remembered that rainbows represented gay people. >_< I didn't know this when I originally made him. So, I was thinking about whether you people would know that I actually meant a rainbow colored Yoshi. In the end, however, I deciced to flip a coin, and it told me to keep RainbowYoshi. And I coudn't say no to one of the former presidents of the USA. So then, Rainbow was just a rainbow colored Yoshi, and that was it. Oh, and he had green shoes, because green is awesome. And he had no saddle, because saddles aren't awesome. And another thing, I made him an awesome golfer, who always had golf clubs and golf balls with him. However, you couldn't see them. He kept them in a similar way that you store items in Animal Crossing, or in SMB3, or in any other game where your pockets can hold anything, even when you have no real pockets. XD

But then, when the Role-Playing section was made (Yes, I'm that old. XD), I had to give Rainbow powers. I had just obtained the game Animal Crossing, and had just gotten the golden axe, so I decided to give him a golden axe. The reason I chose the axe was because I was obsessed with that game at the time, and the golden axe was jsut the best thing I had at that time. Then, I had to give him some sort of powers. I gave him flight (and he has no wings, by the way), and an ability to cast thunderstoms at will. Also, I gave him an ability to create any rainbow colored object he wanted. But, while Role-playing, I just had him create orbs so he wouldn't be too powerful. I don't role-play anymore, though.

Well, that's the story of how Rainbow came to be. Oh, and I remember that RPG we were making in 2004...or rather, the rest of you were making. XD It seemed fun, I had just never helped because I had no experiance at all. However, if we still had it around, I could probably help. XD

Yes, that was all that was holding me back. I had everything in place, and ready to go -- ever day, thinking of more and more ideas.

but you see, unlike the RPG that Leoshi started, the sprites are far more numerous andindepth -- battles are third-person, and would have a full battleset of sprites for each character, as well as an overworld set, all of which are animated, like so:

(Far less overworld one,s, albeit you could make limitless poses for either set. Those are just examples of the base stuff that comes with the program.)

Those are their exact dimensions, and HAVE to be 256 color .pngs or .bmps. In the case of an animation that repeats, it goes first frame, second frame, third frame, second frame, repeat.

I've looked around to even find someone I could commision to do all the sprites, but haven't foind anyone who would do something for an individual person (As in, like not a company.) What do you make of it?
