"What?" This guy has to be good, Yoshee thought. She tapped her foot on the ground, chin on her fist. Think... think... One Yoshi suggested that the culprit was one of the members of the museum, but she was getting another idea.
"Do you think this guy wasn't even able to leave tracks, somehow? Like... he flew in, or something?" She piped up.

"Could be possible." Enrique answered Yoshee. "It is also possible that he could have used some kind of foam-ish material or something so that he couldn't be identified." "This is going to be harder than it looks..." Enrique just knew it. he didn't know he they were going to solve it, or even how this guy managed to get away with this. "Don't you think it could've been more obvious? This guy must've looked like he didn't have a sense of urgency..."

"Hmm...No foot prints or DNA? Wow, it does get harder the further we get...Maybe..."
"Hey, This may sound weird, but is it possible that the person is Psychic?" Jayshi asked, looking around. He looked at a few pictures while thinking, wondering about that thing he said. "Well, if he was psychic, he can float and somehow use his or her powers to get it without a trace, not even a strand of the hair."
"Any other ideas? That's all I got, well could be other ways right?"

(Time to post...This should DEFINETALY give someone something to work with)
Teo turned to London who had gone back to investigating, "Did you check for fingerprints...everywhere? I mean, if it was an inside job and British finds nothing on the cameras, it could mean someone messed with them, and that person who messed with them or used the control room and thus has his or her fingerprints there." Timothy let out a sigh. "Already checked, only the fingerprints of the guards who signed out and clearly left the building at closing time." Teo crossed his arms at this reply, and spoke, "It has to be someone psychic or it could still be personel, someone with the alarm system figured out, that's a small lead, I'll get back to thinking." Someone who must either work here or be psychic...someone who also knew the plans...they could have floated in here. Teo sniffed around, he had a gift since becoming first a yoshi of being able to smell scent and magic, though he wasn't strong in it. Teo sniffed the perimeter slowly and surely...they missed something...
On his search, he made a clean sweep. Teo sniffed where the scepter was, obviously everyone's scent. Teo sniffed the air, the smell of everyone's sweat made him draw tears. He even sniffed every camera, and saw they were working fine, not a trace of magic, the bandit planned having a magic user come in.
Teo sat on a chair, thinking...what in heaves name could have made that scepter vanish? He looked over at its case and it hit him with such force he couldn't believe it.
Teo bruskely got up and approached the box, London jerked his head in this case of slightly uncalled action as he watched Teo. It all made sense, not a trace of magic, smell, or anything! He knocked on the bottom part of the display case and heard a hollowed out sound...
"London, that display case had a second level, for lack of a better word," Teo grinned. He lifted my hands slightly as one side cautiously came off, revealing...

Tempest ~ Tempest was about to answer Tycho's question for the second time when Teo made a startling discovery. He knocked open the hollow base to find..
..Nothing. Or so it seems. At first glance, the base seemed to be empty. Tempest scowled, and looked over Teo's shoulder. The inside was smooth, but covered in a layer of dust. Squinting, Tempest could make out that the dust formed an imprint of a square inside the pedestal. Tempest put his finger into this crack in the base, and pried it open. A small tunnel was revealed under this square.
"A trap door under a trap door.. " Tempest breathed, looking around at the other Yoshies. Tempest grabbed one side of the small base each with his hands, and cracked the ceramic base, shattering the glass.
"What the hell is wrong with you!" Timothy London exclaimed, startled by the sudden destruction of the crime scene.
"You weren't getting any evidence anyway, and this is our only lead. It seems this is the way the culprit got in here. And the more time we waste here, the further he or she is getting away." Tempest jerked his head towards the secret passageway.
"But.." Timothy started to say.
"Listen. Tell that Yoshi that went to look at the cameras whats happened, and that we've gone. NOW." Tempest demanded in a rough voice. Timothy London, looking a little annoyed and scared at the same time, rushed off towards the control room. Tempest glanced at the other Yoshies, staring at him, and lifted his fist. Electricity sprang from his fingertips, dancing around his knuckles, producing an artificial light. With that, Tempest leapt into the deep hole within the museum, and let gravity suck him down into a dark abyss...

Once again, Tycho didn't get a chance to hear Tempest's question, and by now he really wanted to hear it. He tuned out for a moment, thinking about something unrelated until there was the familiar sound of shattering glass. The sound startled him, it was one of the few sounds that could, but Tempest and another yoshi had apparently found something. Tempest looked over at him and the others and then jumped into a hole, apparently beneath the pedestal where the artifact had been. "Finally something interesting" Tycho said as he excitedly ran and dove into the dark hole. Tycho landed rather roughly, but quickly recovered; the area was almost pitch black, except for a glow which was probably coming from Tempest. Not to be outdone, Tycho snapped his fingers a few times until one of his hands lit up, entirely engulfed in a blue flame, green at the tips; it was now apparent that they were in a secret passageway. "well Tempest, I guess we know how the thief got in" Tycho said.

"Wait for me!" Teo said tumbling after, landing on his feet as he jumped into the hole. "Alright...we are all yoshi's, so we can try sniffing first, or does anyone propose..." he pointed to tunnels, "going down one of those?" Teo gulped a bit, being lost is a very very bad thing...bad memories.

"This is it..." Enrique knew it was time to take action. Time to follow Tempest's lead. He was interested and excited for the first time all day. He quickly ran over to it and jumped in like the rest. Darkness all around him... And the adrenaline pumping in his veins... It excited him... The landing was a bit unexpected, but he made it to the bottom. He saw Tempest and Tycho lighting up the pitch-black area, and quickly followed them... or the lights that they produced. Enrique responded to Tycho, even though Tycho wasn't talking directly at him, "Yeah, but how do you think the thief knew about this trap door? And why would they put it right there?"

A few others had joined them in the tunnel now, Tycho looked at the newcomers, both light blue yoshies, there seemed to be a lot of them around these days. "well, from past experience, I'd say that the thief dug the tunnel in order to steal the scepter" Tycho said in response to Enrique's question. "the robbery could have been planned months ago but no one knew about it; only thing to do now is follow the tunnel and see where it leads."

"?" All the other Yoshis suddenly disappeared. Yoshee spotted a hole in the pedestal. "Wait for meee!" She hopped in, landing at the bottom, then rolling over. She stood up, brushing dust off herself quietly, listening to the conversation. "I say follow the tunnel." She answered the odd green Yoshi.

"True, Tycho. It is very possible. He definitely knew what he was doing... It almost seems as if he did a robbery like this before..." This puzzled Enrique. How could this criminal have gotten away with this that good? There was no evidence, so nothing in the museum would've helped. The only thing to do now was to follow the tunnel... It was the only way they were going to catch this guy... As he followed along, all he could see were the light generated by Tempest and Tycho. His sense of hearing was going to be key, however, the sounds were constantly being interrupted by people entering the tunnel and calling that they're following.

"Huh?" Jayshi looked into the hole produced by Tempest. He had second thoughts but shook it off. "Why Am I having second thoughts? I always take my chances! Here I come! He somersaulted into the hole, landing on his feet. He looked around, nothing but pitch black, until he turned around looking at a light. Jayshi ran to the light and saw some more Yoshies, to listen into the conversation. "Well, what now?"

British was so busy engrossed in hacking the security systems, he didn't even notice that most of the group had already gone down below through the secret passage way. NEvertheless he was just about to load up the security tape which would have filmed during the theft, but it had already been deleted, most likely by the thief.
"Not even a decoy video? Lazy." British tapped in a command that would restore the video from a redundant backup system. After a second or so it was playing, and just as he could see a hooded figure aproach the Sceptre he was pulled off of the terminal by the Offivcer guarding the door. "Sorry to interrupt, but the rest of your group is leaving! You'd better hurry and grab your stuff and follow them."
"Crap... they won't have got too far, give me enough time to download this and watch it later..." He shoved a disc in the drive, and copied the video across. After sliding down the stair rail for extra speed, ran out to grab his gear from his motorcycle and made his way back to the entrance of the passage, and jumped inside.
He ran up to the rest of the group whio were stood waiting, or lost.
"Sorry I'm late, had to grab a few things... so what do we do now?"

"We are going to proceed through the passage." Leonidas stepped forward, xyston tapping the floor with his step, and finally spoke up. "Now that it looks like everyone has arrived. I will take the back."
He approached the entrance then slid the front of the Xyston down its right side, eventually starting to tilt it horozintally as his hand reached the rear of the spear. He nodded when satisfied and leapt into the hole. After a few seconds he made a soft, if loud, landing, bringing the xyston fully horizontal and chuckling at his own methods.
"Are we ready?" Leonidas leaned forward to fit into the passage itself.

Yoshiken ran up the Museum steps,
"IM LATE! IM LATE!! I TOTALLY LOST TRACK OF TIME!"
Yoshiken burst through the Museum doors and yelled, "WHAT DID I MISS!?" Everyone in the Museum stared ackwardly at Yoshiken but, since he was a yoshi, and seemed to be in a hurry for something, they guessed that he was one of the participants sent by the 'infamous' letter.
One of them spoke, "They descended down that tunnel." The man pointed to what seemed to be a dark, gaping hole.
"Well i might as well catch up before i miss all the fun," Yoshiken said. He flew in and landed on what seemed to be pretty smooth ground. He lit up his hand and saw a group ahead of him.
"Hey! Im sorry for coming late, i lost track of time! soooo...may someone explain to me what is going on?" Yoshiken pondered.

Tempest ~ Tempest stared at the newcomer, another dragon half-breed, and opened his mouth.
"Someone has stolen the Bliss Sceptre, and used this tunnel to escape, we're guessing. We're going to find that person, and stop him from using the Sceptre to find the Ecstasy Egg." Tempest stated shortly, and turned to Leonidas.
"Good plan. I'll take the front, I guess. Stay alert guys,.. anything could be down here." Tempest trudged on through the tunnel. He touched the walls of the tunnel, expecting it find rough grainy dirt and earth. Instead, he found that it was smooth and perfect to his touch.
"These tunnels feel like they've been dug with diamond. No physical labor can do this. This has to be the work of magic." Tempest whispered. He looked down the never ending pathway. "And with magic strong enough to cut through the earth at these measures.. This has to be some arcane force we are dealing with here." Tempest continued walking, scouting ahead. Everything was so dark, though, and his electric sparks could only illuminate a couple feet in front of him. A screeching sound was heard, and Tempest stopped short.
"..Did anyone else here that?"
"..It was probably just a bat." Someone called.
"A bat? A bat in an artificial tunnel under a museum?" Tempest asked, eyes scanning over the scene. And indeed, a group of bats fluttered harmlessly over the groups heads, emitting high pitched screeches. Tempest waited for them to pass, and started to walk again. But he heard a heavier beating of wings, and with each beat, it grew louder. He felt wind washing over his face. Something was coming. Tempest's heart pounded. Suddenly, two glowing eyes appeared in the darkness. Around those eyes, six more eyes appeared. Tempest summoned a larger ball of lightning, and gasped at what it illuminated. Coming straight at the group was a horrendous monster. Huge with eight spiky legs and dirty brown fur covering it's entire body, with two devilish wings protruding from it's back. It looked like a mutant cross between a giant bat and a giant spider. It emitted a sonic screech, and collided head on with Tempest, it's multiple legs outstretched. Before Tempest could even try to summon a defense, he was pinned against the tunnel's walls, his head slamming against the side. He could feel the creature's hot breath, and it's saliva tripping on him. It's ferocious mouth opened up to reveal rows upon rows of horrible pincers, rearing back to prepare and strike upon Tempest's neck as he watched helplessly...

"AIYYEEEE! A SPIDER!!!" Yoshee screamed. She ran the other way down the tunnel...
"AIYEEE! Tempest!" She suddenly turned around and headed toward the thing she feared most. "Let 'im go!" She gave a battle cry and leapt up onto one of the stiff-haired legs, swatting it mindlessly with her Tennis raquet.

"TEMPEST!!" Teo shouted. He looked at the spider, it hadn't seen him yet, it was busy pinning Tempest. "Tempest, water conducts electricity!!" Teo cried, generating a giant ball of water from mid-air and weating the spider-thing's head. "GIVE IT YOUR BEST ZAP!!" Teo did not know electrical spells, it was Tempest or bust. The water had done a two in one effect, made it lose its grasp over Tempest and making it super vulnerable.

Tempest ~ Tempest grinned as the creature's hold on him loosened, and he slid down the wall. Drenched, the creature roared as the blast of water jerked his head sideways. Tempest's eyes started to glow blue, and electricity crackled around his entire body, sparking into the spider-bat's giant legs, and electrocuted his entire body. It jerked back, obviously hurt by the attack, and Tempest took this chance to retreat to the group. He looked to Yoshee and Teo.
"Thanks." He nodded, and tended to the gash in his arm, trying to clean up the blood.

"Ow!" Yoshee fell off the electrocuted spider. "um... no problem." She responded to Tempest. Yoshee climbed to her feet and observed the slightly-fried arachnid. "What would that be doing down here, anyhow?"
OOC: It's fixed now ^^
