"Whoa! Wait here for a second, friend!" She told the red-capped newcomer, who looked a little afraid of the appearance of the cyclops. Yoshee could see why. He had one gigantic, disgusting yellow eyes, caked in ooze, and the rest of it wasn't even close to as good-looking. The tunnel reeked of sweat and... whatever that cyclops smelled like.
She heard shouting from one of the Yoshis. "Eye? Weak point? Alright..." She took out her trusty Tennis raquet yet again, and smacked a Tennis ball into the air. It hit the cyclops squarely in the eye, and it roared in pain, clutching its face with the hand that dropped the flaming red Yoshi. It stomped, causing a minor earthquake and knocking Yoshee on her feet. Her head hit a rock on the ground, and she saw stars.

"Heh." Jayshi looked at the Green Colored Yoshi with the tennis raquet. "I got this one." Jayshi jumped from the air and got on the cyclops. As soon as it took its hand off its eye... "HERE YOU GO! THIS IS GOING TO GET NASTY!" He lifted his sword and struck it in his eye. He was raged but, after that, Jayshi's eyes were back to normal. "Huh? What happened?" He looked down at the sword in its eye. Jayshi's eyes were wide. "Uhh...Did I do that?"

Teo finally got out of the cyclopses grasp as it fell down with a plop...a really big plop...
Teo lifted the cyclopses hand that was still on him, and looked at the group as if nothing happened. "Thanks for saving my skin guys, but we still have to keep going, what we've done so far will be for nothing if we don't hurry," There was no time to comment on everyone's bravery and courage, the yoshi race was at stake, and Teo knew every moment he felt might as well be his last, unless he could stop it, but no-one could do it alone.
"We can rest outside..." he glarred at the corpse. "...where it doesn't smell bad?" Secretely, it was because he didn't like the tunnels. As he continued to where the light might have been coming from...taking the lead, risking himself...again.

"Agh... ow..." Yoshee climbed to her feet, head still pounding. "What happened? Did we win?" She asked. Then, she remembered; they didn't normally stop to answer questions. And, judging by the humoungus corpse of the cyclops laying some distance away, she guessed the answer was "yes". "Uhh... new guy, do you still want to come with us?" Yoshee asked the red-capped light blue Yoshi.

Tempest ~ Tempest was impressed, watching his group of Yoshies defeat the giant cyclops like that. They almost did it with ease. He had a feeling that if there were any Yoshies that could help to bring back the Ecstasy Egg, it would be these Yoshies. He followed Teo out of the tunnel and into the warm light which was piercing through a window. At once, Tempest felt energy surge through his veins as nature was reconnected with his spirit. His eyes regained their luster and his posture straightened immediately. Tempest grinned. He was back.
"Where are we?" Tempest questioned, looking around. They had just walked out of a many mile long tunnel, but somehow, they had ended up in a old-looking room. It was very antique, and when he turned around, the tunnel had vanished. In it's place was a dusty old fireplace. Tempest was shocked when he saw his friends emerging from the fireplace, phasing through some logs.
"Holograms... In an old place like this?" Tempest whispered, extremely curious at where they were. He continued to search the room for hints and clues, careful not to break anything.

Tycho looked around the room, it was very old looking, but somewhat cozy. There was one window, but oddly enough, no doors. There was an old roll top desk in one corner of the room, and several shelves of antiques all over the walls. Most of everything was covered in a layer of dust, and a few cobwebs hung from assorted trinkets. He walked up to the window and looked out, all that he could see was this glare, no scenery was visible through the foggy glass. Remembering something he mentioned earlier, Tycho said "well, this is actually sort of close to what it was like when I saw a tunnel like that one. It starts in a really inconspicuous location so that nobody knows that a tunnel is being dug." He looked around and then asked, "how do we get out of here? there's no door"

"Umm... you can catch up later, just don't get left too far behind." Yoshee advised the light blue Yoshi, then turned and headed towards the light.
"Woah... brightness." Yoshee shielded her eyes, then realized they were in some sort of room. She turned to find the hole and saw... a fireplace? Very odd... "It appears to be a room. A deserted one. But the thief had to have come through here; there's no other way." She thought aloud. She then noticed some very odd-looking tracks left in the settled dust. "Hey, what are these?" She pointed at the unsettled dust prints.

Teo was already searching around the old antique house, when he saw Tempest come out, fully re-charged, and questioned, "Tempest, do you get your energy from light?? You could barely seem to walk down there and now you look full of energy," but when Teo turned around, he saw he had come through a solid looking fire place, and everyone else was emerging as well. He thought to himself, a sly smile on his face, Meh, I wonder if we'll all fit?
Teo went through some old things (carefully). "Now if I was a thief, where would I hide a magical scepter?" he said, muttering to himself. He checked first under tables, cabinets, sheets, under beds, until he became annoyed looking for stuff. He then searched the less-obvious spots, checking for loose floorboards, behind mirrors and things hund on the wall, behind an old moose head. Then Teo really lost it then, doing the ridiculous...like searching in a cookie jar, moving on to the old-looking refrigerator (juging by the food, someone lived here), and even clung to a beam and knocked it to find if it was hollow and the thief would leave it there...he knocked,
No answer, what can you say? No one's home. There was no hollow sound, and frankly, if there was, this place would collapse...
Teo decided no more could really be done up there, in the kitchen, or anywhere!! With a bit of luck, the perpetrator hid another hologram...then Teo did the ridiculous...again! Looking under the kitchen sink...IN the sink (ewww...) and at last, gave up. "Where blasted is that thing or any other hint of a smidgin of a clue??" Teo felt the windows, after deciding giving up would be all the yoshis demise. He turned and called to the others, "I'll send a signal outside, maybe detectives can help in this search." Teo opened the front door, but found it was a broom closet. "That's odd..." Teo went to the other side of the house and opened another door, it looked like another room. Teo went in, and suddenly it was dark. He opened the first door behind him, and found another in front of him, which he proceeded to opening and seeing the thing he least expected to see...
He was looking straight into a room, and at the far side of the room, he saw himself looking into a room, watching himself. He continued, seeing himself move along with, looked back, saw himself AGAIN. He ran straight, trying to catch up with his other self, just for sheer fun, seeing the bewilderment of the others as he passed them over and over and over again. Out of habbit, he went back the same amount of rooms he first came through, looking at the others, and muttered: "I don't like this..."
Teo went to a back door, a screen door with a regular door behind it. He opened it...somehow it only opened inwards, to reveal a mirror, which Teo did not hesitate to start messing around with, tapping it, pushing it, and even kicking it. He became curious at some point and his fist glowed purple, pulled back, and launched an enormous, vibrating punch at the mirror...
Not a scratch. Teo began to panic a little, no doors led out...so he tried lifting a window, which opened with ease, to reveal another thin window, which took the place of the first as the first vanished. He broke that one to see it replaced. He packed off and threw an egg at it, seeing crash through what seemed like a hundred windows, the egg not moving an inch as its momentum kept it in the air and the windows pushed it back. Soon the egg gave in and came back to Teo, who stood bewildered by the window, still in its place, not a shard out of place. He threw the same egg at another window, same effect. "Guys, I think we fell for something," Teo started panicking. Then, the fire place! Surely there had to be an exit there!
Teo dove in, headfirst into the fire place as he knocked his hands and nose against the back of the fire place, all sooty...no hologram. Teo looked up, pitch blackness, he didn't even want to know what happened when you threw an egg up there. Teo broke down in panic immedietaly after,
"WE'RE TRAPPED!! THIS HOUSE IS AN ABSoooOOOLUTE...INSANE...MAD...HOUSE!!" Teo banged furiously against a wooden wall, a whole self tackle. but the wood held out...not a scratch... "To think I rushed us here, thinking the Ecstasy egg would be closer if we rushed...and instead, we RAN into this trap at full speed...I feel like such a fool..." Teo recovered from his blow, sat on a couch, and slept, a tear coming down his cheek...

Enrique entered the room with everyone else; he now finds himself in a small room with no way of going anywhere else. "Odd... There's no way out!" He saw another light blue yoshi break out in panic, and he watched him start to cry a little bit. "It's okay buddy. We're not all at loss yet. We can still find a way out of here." Enrique started to ponder the matter a bit. He looked out the window. Then up the fireplace. Still, nothing came to his mind. His mind was blank...

Yoshiken had already recovered and was at full health now. He had followed the group to a place that he couldnt even explain. He stood there pondering while everyone was investigating the place. He noticed a commotion about a fireplace and a thought came to his mind.
"Well...maybe someone could climb up that fireplace and see whats up there, any volunteers?"

Tempest ~ "I'll go." Tempest stepped forward into the fireplace and looked up. He paused, and sprang into the air with a strong leap. He started to fall a little, but he summoned a wind jet to propel him up into the chimney, full of soot. Tempest continued to jet up the long chimney, when he spotted a light not too far above. He propelled to wards it, and realized it wasn't coming from a hole on the top of the chimney, but from the side. The chimney continued to extend past the light. When Tempest arrived at the source of the light, he gasped. He had just arrived in the same fireplace he had left from. And now, there he was. Standing in logs, in that same fireplace. He stepped out.
"Chimney's a dead end. This place is some kind of arcane maze. I've never seen anything like it!" Tempest exclaimed, extremely intrigued by the place. Suddenly, a door opened on the right, and a figure stepped through.
"Where did I put that - .. Oh, look at this! I've got company." A tall slender man was in the doorway. He wore a vintage looking suit, and had extremely pale skin. Startled, Tempest got into a defensive position.
"Who are you? Where are we?" Tempest blurted out.
"My name is Terentii. But I believe I should be asking the questions, as you are the intruders in my castle." Terentii retorted shortly.
"I'm sorry. We just arrived here following a tunnel from the Metropolitan Museum. We're on a chase for a culprit who has stolen the Bliss Sceptre. Have you had any visitors recently?" Tempest said quickly.
"Slow down there. No, you are the first visitors to this castle in a long time. I am sorry about the tunnels and this room, but this is an ancient castle that was once owned by mystical sages. I am their descendant and just recently inherited this castle. I am unsure of these tunnels and these weird tricks this house plays on it's inhabitants, but I apologize for them." Terentii seemed calm, and flashed a big toothy smile.
"But please, stay for a while! I could use some company in this giant castle, and we have plenty of empty rooms! Let me show you around." Terentii walked out the door, gesturing for them to follow. Tentatively, Tempest shrugged and bounded after Terentii out of the room.

Enrique was surprised by the appearance of the man in the door; heck, he surprised at the fact that there was a door. "Okay, this place is really starting to freak me out." There was no logical explanation to this. How could a tunnel in a museum lead to this old room? And how did this criminal get out of castle without being caught? Did the criminal even use the tunnel? Even the whole idea of the castle made him wonder how this was physically done.
"Okay then..." Enrique walked out of the room with Terentii and Tempest. The hall was lined with gray stone blocks, with old, slightly warped wooden doors on both sides of the hallway. The floor was an old hardwood; it looked as if it could break apart due to centuries of wear and rot. There was a creaking noise in every step that Enrique took. "So where exactly are we going?"

Tycho along with the rest of the group followed Terentii out of the strange room into a hallway lined with doors. To Tycho, it looked like a scene out of some late night horror show, complete with creepy looking portraits and creaky wood floors. Tycho was sort of creeped out by the whole thing, especially Terentii, he just seemed too nice for some reason. Suddenly, Tycho realized that he had been separated from the group, "oh man! I'm lost in the creepy castle, I should have been paying attention." Tycho said to himself. He looked around, then ran down the hall a ways to see if he could find the group, everything looked the same...except for a door that was slightly open. He slowly crept toward the door, maybe something in there could help him figure out what was going on...

Teo followed Terentii, but keeping his distance, watching the surroundings, calm once again. "How...how was this place built? It seems to bend every law of physics there is...and it couldn't be magic...or could it be some different sort of trickery?" Teo asked, still looking around bewildered at the strange repeditivness, pictures, mirrors and just about everything...it was akward, Teo could not even imagine the place...it had to make sense...and that was the reason of his asking.

"Woah, magic." Yoshee gasped in awe, staring at the repetiveness of the entire thing. "I wonder who got the idea of making this in the first place..." How had the theif gotten around in here? Apparently, he knew the layout of the castle, which meant he was probably related to Terentii, Yoshee reasoned. She could have spent hours just learning the puzzle of how to move from room to room...

OOC: Alright, this is starting to die off already, I'll just answer my own question.
Terentii turned to Teo at the question and said, "It is indeed made of magic, but not the kind from energy, it comes from...drop it, it takes months to get the basic idea, and I presume you don't have that time." Terentii was right, the group HAD to get the ecstasy egg. Then all of a sudden, Teo heard voices down the hall where three boys were disputing. Terentii spoke, "AH! Samual, Richard and Grayhal, my three brothers!" He waved at them, his family surely. Teo nonetheless did not expect this, "I suppose you have sisters here too?" Teo asked. Terentii looked like he had just been asked 2+2. "Why of course, three sisters, Serenity, Terenity, and Melenity, and while we're at it, our parents Henry and Selena." There was a whole family living in this nightmare...well, at least he wouldn't go alone. Then he saw an odd sight, as he turned the corner, three OTHER yoshis turned a corner...
One was black, and another white, whereas the last was grey. "There are more yoshi's here?" Terentii didn't look suprised, "Must have dropped in like you," he grinned.

OOC: Oh HELL naw, this ain't dying now!
Tempest ~ Tempest noticed Terentii was making a lot of small talk.
..What if he's just doing this to stall so the culprit can escape? Tempest thought.
"No offense, but we're kind of in a rush. If you haven't seen anyone suspicious recently, then we should leave. Now." Tempest blurted out rudely. Terentii's head whipped around, his eyes narrowed.
"I try to be a good host, and this is what I get in return? I should have known better. You are free to leave." He paused. "And maybe I DO know something.. but after seeing your true personality, maybe I should just keep it to myself." Terentii said contently. Tempest's eyes widened. He can't be serious! This was a joke. However, he decided it would be best to apologize and get any information from this strange man he could.
"I'm sorry. It's been a long journey, and we're all a little bit tired." Tempest replied in a sincere tone.
"Ah, well.. why didn't you say so? Let me lead you to our quarters. We have PLENTY of beds." Terentii smiled widely, and lead them through a hallway. Tempest followed closely behind Terentii, and looked over Terentii's shoulder to see a mirror. Tempest examined his full body, his armor, his gloves, and his tail. They all look undamaged. Something was wrong.. But he couldn't put his finger on it. However, he WAS tired and decided a small nap would end up helping them in the long run. After all, even if they did find the culprit, in their current state, they would surely all be defeated. Everyone was exhausted. Terentii pushed open two giant creaking oak doors to reveal sleeping quarters. Over a dozen giant beds with lavish tapestries and luxurious bedding were laid out all over the giant room.
"Thank you.. We'll only be here for a couple hours." Tempest yawned, and bounded over to a mattress, collapsing into slumber on it.
"No problem, my little friends.." Terentii grinned toothily again, and exited the room, his cape flowing behind him.

((OOC: argh, apologies for lack of posts, other things have been keeping me busy))
A while ago, British had woken up from being clubbed by the troll, and noticed most people had already gone off ahead. While he was out, he was pleased to find that most of his ammo cartridges had finished recharging. He slung his ASMD over his shoulder after slapping in a fresh charge.
Following the tunnel along, he eventually came to a part of the tunnel that has a shaft of light shining through it, along with another passage way. Heading through the light, he noticed a little blood on his arms as well as his armour busy repairing itself, which must have been damaged when he got hit earlier on. British rubbed most of it off himself and walked on through.
After a short distance he was more than surprised to find himself in a rather grand area, most likely a house, but what was even more surprising was that he had appeared to have walked through a solid wall, as well as a lit fireplace completely unscathed. "...What the hell?" There wasn't even any sign of a door behind the fire.
Just ahead, he could see the rest of the group chatting amongst themselves, as well as Tempest dashing into what seemed to be sleeping quarters. Obviously this was a safe place, otherwise everyone wouldn't be looking so relaxed. Saying that though, there did seem to be a general air of confusion around the place.

"?" Terentii exited the room. Yoshee didn't know what to think of him... there was something odd about him, though. That much she knew. She drug her Tennis raquet tiredly into the room, yawning. She was really tired, especially after that troll. Something told her not to sleep, though. Maybe she would just sit for a while. Yoshee leaned against the wall and thought deeply, as if she were asleep. She reviewed everyone's names, thought about what the culprit could want with the Ecstacy Egg, and she wondered what was up with Terentii.

Enrique was very tired. It was quite a long day for him, and everyone else too probably. He settled himself on one of the beds in the room. It was comfortable to him, but he started to become a little suspicious of this Terentii. Was the trap something he truely didn't know about? Or was he lying to cover something up? Could this guy be linked to the theft of the Bliss Sceptre? These questions circulated in Enrique's head. Finally, he crawled over and fell asleep... He'll just have to worry about everything later...
