In a secret lair somewhere..A shadowy figure emerges from the darkness. The shape of this figure reveals that is is indeed a Yoshi. The figure is wearing a long hooded trenchcoat that hides it's face, and it clutches a large dusty book in it's right hand. It slams the book on a table, and opens the book with some arcane source of wind. It flips to a page all about the history of the Yoshies. The Ecstasy Egg is the key to the joy and happiness of the Yoshies. Hidden for centuries by ancient sages, researchers say that the Ecstasy Egg has some kind of connection with all the Yoshies in the world. The location of this mystical talisman is still unknown to the world today, but it is said that those Yoshies who hold one of the Yoshi Bliss Sceptres will be blessed with the knowledge of where the Ecstasy Egg is hidden... The paragraph went on, but the figure had seen enough. It closed the book, and smirked, as if concocting some kind of plan... ------------------------------------------- A Yoshi Bliss Sceptre was reported to be stolen from the Metropolitan Museum of Mushroom Kingdom last night. Whoever the culprit is, they are on their way to the Ecstasy Egg, and if this precious talisman lands in the wrong hands, it could mean the end of joyful times for all of Yoshikind..! Tempest has gathered a crew of adventurous Yoshies to find and stop this culprit, and to protect the Ecstasy Egg! Let the journey begin! -------------------------------------------- Welcome to the fourth installment of the Y RPGs. Tempest ~ The doors swung open, and Tempest walked into the Metropolitan Museum of Mushroom Kingdom. Taking long and steady strides, Tempest approached one of the exhibits, which had been taped off with bright yellow tape, reading DO NOT CROSS. It had attracted quite a crowd, as many police and detectives swarmed the scene, dusting for fingerprints and other evidence. One of the main detectives, a human, looked at Tempest and quickly hurried over.
"You must be one of the Yoshies that we've called to work on this case. Thank you for coming." The man extended his hand, which Tempest gripped firmly and shook it.
"My name is Timothy London, and I'll be briefing you shortly. However, if you don't mind, we'll have to wait for some of the other Yoshies to arrive." London shook his head, glancing at the watch. Tempest grunted a little, and nodded. He glanced around, scouting out some of the other exhibits in the prestigious museum. There were many ancient Yoshi artifacts, and they would entertain him while he waited for the others to arrive.

Enrique wakes up one morning, just like any other morning. After a small breakfast of a handful of grapes and a glass of water, he goes outside to enjoy the fresh morning air. "What a beautiful day today..." He thinks to himself. The morning was as bright as it could be, sunny with just a few clouds in the sky, and a comfortable temperature; however, it has been getting slightly colder in the morning the past few days; he recognizes this as the change of seasons.
As he heads off start roaming his backyard, Enrique notices an envelope caught under his shoe. The return address says "Metropolitan Museum of Mushroom Kingdom." "What could they possibly want me for?" He opened the envelope and started reading the letter inside. The letter outlined the recent burglary of a very precious item from one of the exhibits. The letter also requested Enrique to help solve the case and retrieve the stolen item. Enrique locks the door of his house, and starts walking toward downtown.
Once he reached the museum, he sees Tempest and a human standing outside a police-confidental zone, discussing, possibly, the robbery. Enrique approaches them. "Excuse me, but was this the site of the recent robbery at this museum?"

Tycho waved to the driver as the car sped off, he then turned and looked at the large building in front of him. Stone faced with the title Metropolitan Museum of Mushroom Kingdom on the front above the main entrance. Tycho walked up the steps to the door and pushed it open, it looked even larger inside than it did from the outside, but he wasn't there to examine the museum, he had a job to do. He approached a crowd of police and detectives, hoping to find someone to help him out.

Jayshi slept on a tree at the park. He slowly opened his eyes when the sun shined in front of his face.
"Another day, I guess." Jayshi thought. He jumped out of the tree, rocket skated to a nearby news stand. He decided to look at the daily newspaper. Jayshi was still tired, but looked at a major topic:
Rare artifact stolen from the Metropolitan Museum of Mushroom Kingdom.
Jayshi was in shock, he quickly skated across the park and down to the museum, to see a huge crowd. He quickly jumped a speaded his wings and looked.
"Oh man...A artifact stolen, sounds like a new adventure..." He said with a grin on his face. He quickly dived down to see a human and a few Yoshies.
"Hey, has there any other detail in this robbery?"

Teo had been tracked down yesterday somehow, but not for harmful reasons. A group of official looking yoshis caught Teo napping on the beach, his favorite place to be. They handed him an envelope, sealed shut by a seal. He opened it after they left and it read, Dear Teo, there has been a recent robbery at the Metropolitan Museum of Mushroom Kingdom, we would like you to help investigate tommorrow. And with that, he ate the letter and fell back asleep.
The next morning, Teo woke up. A lot of his energies were gathered while he slept, and at will, he'd be able to last a week up, not that he'd want to. Giving a nice yawn and stretch, he got up and headed to where he thought was the museum...he hadn't been to town very often.
Teo went to the museum where police cars were linned up and tape was all over the place, and detectives were everywhere. Teo was greeted by a head detective, who came right up and said, "Glad you could make it, my name is Timothy London, you must be Teo," "Indeed I am," Teo replied. "We have had a break in, unfortunately, we don't know how the thief got in. We are also assuming that he was only here for that one item, possibly because it has magical properties." Made sense, Teo thought. "I'll get right on it," he said. As Teo made his way into the museum, Timopthy mumbled to himself, "Why'd we hire a teenager?"

Tempest ~ Tempest looked over his shoulder from a giant fossilized egg, which was rumored to be the oldest Yoshi egg in existence. He saw several yoshies congregating around the crime scene, and walked over. One of the yoshies, Enrique, was asking whether this was the crime scene or not.
"Yeah.. what else could it possibly be?" Tempest smirked, gesturing towards the DO NOT CROSS tape. Tempest's tail twitched as he observed three other yoshies besides Enrique. One of them was a ghostly looking one, Tycho, and something just felt ... dead about him. Another one was just a plain looking light-blue Yoshi. Nothing peculiar about it. The last one was a green one that looked like it had dragon genes within it's family line somewhere. Tempest greeted each of them, shaking their hands with his golden gloved hand. Turning back to the suspicious one who made his blood run cold, he spoke to Tycho.
"Greetings. I am called Tempest." He wanted to get to know this Yoshi before completely judging him.

The doors blew open at the Metropolitan Museum. "Okay, here I am. This is the crime scene?" Yoshee asked, walking up. "A museum break-in? Sounds like a movie scene more than a crime scene." She examined each other Yoshi in turn. "Hello, guys. I'm Yoshee, by the way." She mock saluted.

Enrique looked at the area in which the crime scene tape surrounded. Detectives and police were constantly shuffling about the area. He wonders what he could do to help, but he knew that he had another job; he's not sure exactly what, but it would be very important. Enrique then paces around the exhibition room, waiting for someone to give him an order. "What could they possibly ask me to do?" Most likely to help with the mystery... But how?
He takes a glance at some of the artifacts as he was pacing; however, they weren't the first thing on his mind. He kept looking back at the crime scene area, officials still hustling about. He imagines himself in that zone as well, but he suspects that it will be much harder than that...

Out of a lack of anything better to do, British was aimlessly driving about town on his motorbike, going to nowhere in particular. The radio was playing garbage, as was to be excited. Just over the painful lyrics, British could hear what seemed to be sirens. With his interest piqued, He set off in the direction of the sirens.
After a few minutes, he arrived outside the Metropolitan Museum only to see the whole place locked down with Police cars. "Wonder what all this is about then." He parked his bike, and made his way over to a human officer who looked to be going over some details on a clipboard, with a frown on his face.
"Hey there." British offered a small wave as he spoke."
"Hi.." The officer barely even looked from his notes with the reply.
"What exactly is going on here? I could hear this noise from all the way downtown." British made a half hearted gesture pointing back the way he came.
"Who are you, exactly? I need to know your name so I know if I'm actually allowed to tell you. To be honest even we don't have the complete picture yet." This time the officer actually acknowleged that British was actually standing there.
"Well, The names British, but I doubt I'm on the list so --"
"Wait, "British" is it? Then in that case I'm plased to meet you. My name is Timothy London, the cheif detective here. Looks like you're on our shortlist of.. er, "Hired Help", for want of a better word."
"So what exactly am I here for?"
Timothy placed his clipboard down on a parked cruiser. "There was break in here last night, and a priceless artifict was stolen. Everything else was left as-is. My people have been getting people together who we believe could help us in the case."
British raised an eyebrow. "..Really? How would you even know to contact me? I'm not exactly a person who wants to be contacted most of the time. I didn't recieve any message or anything from anybody in the last few days."
"Yeah, I heard you would be hard to get hold of. To be honest I didn't hold much hope of you turning up, but guess this is a lucky coincidence. Come on inside, I have a few more guys involved in this, you should introduce yourself before we start with anything."
Further inside, British could clearly see that only one thing was missing. "Who the hell breaks into a museum and leaves everything?" Around the crime scene, he could make out a group talking amongt themselves. "These must be the guys London was talking about., better go over there and say something, I guess.."
British wasn't exactly used to working with other people, but reluctantly walked over to the group anyway.

"Umm... yeah." No one seemed inclined to answer Yoshee, so she inspected the yellow tape. "Bliss Sceptre? Sounds like something important... Especially since nothing else was touched." She thought aloud.

Enrique was getting bored pacing around the museum, so he approached his way toward the crime scene again. It looked as if the detectives and police were getting more and more confused as they went about the investigation, to Enrique at least. He sees another yoshi huddled around the yellow tape, a green one. He wanted assistance with the case, and maybe this yoshi could help... Enrique was as confused as the investigators on the case... "Excuse me, but could you please help me understand what's going on, and why exactly is everyone in a panic?"

Thanks ] OOC: Oh, oops. Sorry... Yoshee turned to the light blue Yoshi. "I heard an important item around here was stolen. The wierd thing is, the thief didn't steal anything else besides the Bliss Sceptre." It didn't really seem to Yoshee that everyone was in a panic, but they were unsettled... She turned back to the tape, deep in thought. She apparently didn't have much else to say at the moment.

"No matter where I go, there I am..." Leonidas mumbled under his breath as he waded through the initial police barrier, secondary point of the Xyston click on the pavement every other step.
While Ascending the steps to the oversized double-doors of the Museum, he reflected back on the situation. His master, Yosei, had always taught him to value cooperation with his battle-brothers, and sending him alone seemed to go against everything they stood for. Shaking his head and moving the thoughts to the back of his mind, he pushed open the doors with the hoplon and stepped inside.
Immediatly two officers approached him. He only glanced at them and nodded, causing them to turn back. He slowly made his way accross the exhibits, still with the second point of the Xyston clicking against tile flooring, stepping through an opening in the DO NOT CROSS tape. A quick glance around the crime scene soon drew his attention to an erratic group of yoshies, seemingly seperate from the movements of the rest of the detectives.
Glancing at each of them in turn, he strode over to the group, nearly stopping when he saw how young some of them were.

Tycho turned around to face Tempest, "Hello...Tempest, nice to meet you." He shook Tempest's hand, "My name's Tycho. so...you must be here for the stolen artifact thing right?" Tycho glanced over to the crowd of the detectives and then back at Tempest. Just looking at Tempest, he could tell that he was nervous about something, "can he tell?" Tycho thought; his secret was a well kept one, it was unlikely that Tempest would have heard from somewhere about the curse. Then again, he could be worried about something else, something completely unrelated. "yeah, he has no clue, I'm just overreacting" Tycho thought as he waited for Tempest to respond.

Tempest ~ Tempest nodded, narrowing his eyes a bit at Tycho. He seemed like a normal Yoshi, but Tempest just could not shake this feeling he had. He opened his mouth to ask a question, but was interrupted when Timothy London started speaking.
"I would like to personally thank you all for coming. My name is Timothy London, and I am part of the Mushroom Kingdom Police Department, forensics department to be exact." He paused, as if to let everyone absorb this info.
"Last night, someone or something broke into the Museum and slipped away with the Bliss Scepter. Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal, but the culprit left everything else untouched." He gestured towards the rest of the cases, and then to the empty one before them.
"I've done some research on the Bliss Scepter, and realized that it is connected to finding the whereabouts of a very sacred talisman, the Ecstasy Egg." He looked at each Yoshi in the face.
"Ecstasy Egg? ..Wait.. I've heard of this. I heard that it's emotionally linked to all the Yoshies in the world. It's what allows us to be happy." Tempest's eyes widened a bit, knowing the situation just got more serious.
"Yes, I know. That is why I have summoned you all here to help me find and stop this culprit, and retrieve the Scepter before anything drastic happens. Seeing that it IS linked to you and would affect you the most, I thought that what would be better to solve this crime than a group of Yoshies?" Timothy started to pace.
"Unfortunately.. My forensics team has found absolutely NOTHING at this crime scene. No fingerprints, no DNA samples, nothing. Zilch, nada, zero. The culprit, whoever it is, is good. They covered their tracks and we have no leads at all." Timothy looked bashful and ashamed, as if it was his fault they couldn't find anything.
"So...," He turned to the Yoshies, a grim look on his face. ", .. the floor is open to any ideas. Anyone?"

British was still hovering around the outside of the group, halfheartedly looking at the rest of the exhibits, but still listening into what London was saying. Taking a look around the place, he couldn't spot anything out of the ordinary, even the front doors were in pretty much perfect condition. From what he gathered the alarms systems didn't even activate, nobody would have even known anyone was in there if the Sceptre was there, it really was a professional job.
British walked a bit closer to the group, and raised his hand.
"Did anyone consider this could have been an inside job?"
There was some muttering from everyone, some of which obviously hadn't considered this option.
British continued.. "Theres no real evidence of a break-in, the place looks pristine apart from the Sceptre missing. Either the culprit is a hardcore professional, or was somebody who had access to the security systems and could easily disable the cameras and whatnot. Or at least I think so, anyway. They obviously knew how to cover their tracks within the security network otherwise you would probably have a lead by now."
There were a few more sound of agreement, one notably from London.
"To be honest, we'd dismissed that line of inquiry. But maybe if someone else looked over the records with a fresh eye they might notice something my men might have missed previously..." He crossed his arms for a moment and took a few seconds to think over something.
"British, our file on you said you were pretty good with computer systems, maybe you could go through the records? See if we missed anything."
British blinked for a second, not entirely expecting anyone to ask him to do anything. "Uh, sure, fine. If someone can show me where a security terminal is, I can check it out for you."
London smiled, probably for the first time since the whole investigation started. "Great news!" He beckoned over another officer. "Show British where the main terminal is for me, will you?" The officer just nodded. And started walking
"Follow me, its just up the stairs here.."
After a couple minutes walking, they both reached the security station. The officer waited outside the door. "I'll be out here if you need anything."
British just gave a nod of approval and sat down in front of the terminal. "Lets see if this thief is as professional as I think he is..." He logged onto the system and started searching...

It looked as if Tempest was going to say something, but then one of the detectives started addressing everyone and he stopped. The detective introduced himself as Timothy London, and then talked about the object that was stolen; an artifact called the Ecstasy egg. Supposedly it is linked to all yoshies in the world and gives them happiness. Tycho tuned out the rest of what London said, his question already answered, but soon many more questions filled his head; "why would someone want to make yoshies unhappy?" he thought, "probably has to do with Bowser, everyone knows how much he hates us." Tycho then remembered that Tempest was about to say something to him before Timothy London started talking. "Hey Tempest, were you gonna ask me something before?"

"Ugh! Why me? I hate the city!" YW thought to himself as he ran across the city streets. Not far behind him two officers, they seemed to be running and trying to apprehend him. YW looked back quickly, shooting a look at the two, "Can't you two even listen for crying out loud! I didn't do anything!" His attempt seemed rather useless, as the two only hastened their pace.
Turning a corner quickly, YW immediately hid behind a big set of stairs made of stone, panting silently as he waited, "I really don't want to have to fight my way out of this, if I do, then they'll really have a reason to arrest me. Please make them pass by and not find me." As on cue, the officers ran by down the block, trying to find him. He lets out a sigh of relief, and looks around quickly, "I need to find a place to hide, I never asked for any trouble. Hmm, maybe I should head in here." Looking up at the name of the building, he smiled a little, reckoning that the last place he'd be bothered right now would be a museum, since its supposed to be quiet.
Walking in quickly so he'd not get seen by the two officers, he started acting casually inside. Unfortunately for him, seems like the inside of the museum was even more filled with officers, detectives and the like, along with other random people. "Out of danger, only to head into it deeper, hope they don't start falsely accusing me too," he thought to himself as he started looking at a nearby exhibition, trying to not make a scene.
