To all: STOP posting threads that you know can upset some members!! If anyone else posts another of these threads I will ban him/her immediately for several days!! What's the point of doing this?! Breaking the rules on purpose? Annoy the board administrators? Annoy the members? Please use your head!!

I'm really sorry Yoshi Soul. My attentions weren't to upset anyone, it was to help stop it. I really didn't think I was breaking the rules because I put the warning, and thought that people 13 and older could handle it. I thought it was something that should be brought to members attention, so that they could sign that petition, and help bring the website down. I'm going to delete that post that I made about it. Please delelte the thread. Once again, I'm really sorry.

Isn't this forum moderated or anything? When the mods see a topic like that in breach of the rather clearly stated rules, why don't they just delete it?

Its not really up to whether you're here 20 hours a day or whether you're super active and post 500 times a day, its up whether you're actually capable of modding a forum or not. Quantity ≠ quality (alright, so I couldn't get a real equals sign with a slash through it  ) (..I could now  ) |

im not saying that im active 20 hours a day. i dont even come on somdays, but you do want active members to be mods, right? isnt that what this is all about? and, what capibilites are required other then being active? fixing posts would be no problem to me. i know all the rules, and my way around yc.

There is one, but it won't display right on this board because it's not in the default character set. It shows a rectangle instead. I think the board converts it to unicode after hitting submit (which ruins the special character).

I must agree about the moderating on these boards, its pretty appauling...many mods at the moment are never visiting as often as they are supposed to be! I aint gonna mention who they are, because i think its pretty easy to guess for yourself!
I think you should consider re-staffing the moderators to those who visit at a more regular basis.

hmmmmm....yes i think it is time to get some new mods. They dont need to be really active tho...activeness can be an asset but what must be really prioritized is responsibility for the MB

Oh yes! Found a way to use the special character:
≠
(type "& # 8 8 0 0 ;" without the spaces)
Just be careful to re-add this if you hit "preview" or it won't show right.

of coarse every one wood wana be a mod(heehee id love to but im like all extra new n stuff)...
if new mods are picked...tim shood have like, interviews for anyone who wants to be mod...that way he wood know who'd be perfect for the job...(but thats probly what he does alredy....so pay no attention to the random electricly charged yoshi running around...)
