Good or Evil?

Whoop another chapter and of coarse, you're great at building up on suspense. One thing I noticed is my character seems to resort to using kunei knifes a lot, my real character also uses swords too, three actually!

Dark Leo looked quite content upon seeing his other side vanish beneath the waves. He laughed as he saw Yapi fly into the water.

"Pathetic. Risking your own life to help another's when you can stay hidden? Foolish, what can you accomplish?"

His head turned up into the sky. "By the way, don't think I haven't seen you up there this entire time. I can see you have a bit more intelligence then the others, but thinking you can hide from me is foolish."

Moshi's eyes widened. "Impossible, how did he know? I'm beyond view at this altitude."

"The same to goes to you, John. Reveal yourself from the shadows and stop being a coward. I want all of you to come here."

John sighed. "This one is not an ordinary adversary."

Both of them come to the ground and went nearby each other to stand before Dark Leoshi.

"...this is all Leoshi has to protect the book? He has very weak defenses."

Moshi looked offended. "First of all, I don't belong with anyone, I work alone."

"Then why are you in his team?" Dark Leo asked.

"I shall only confess my intentions if you confess yours." Moshi said.

Dark Leoshi gave a smirk. "Just as I thought. Smarter then the others, more cunning. I commend you for that, but know your efforts are futile."

"The future is never written in stone." John added in.

"On the contrary, it has been written for 3,000 years. This is fate, destined to occur." Dark leo's smirk vanished. "You are both exhausting my patience. I shall put an end to your existence now."

"Big talk." Moshi said. "I should warn you, I'm better then the others."

John sighed.

"Perhaps. Prove it to me." Dark Leoshi said.

Suddenly, something broke the surface of the water. They all looked, accept for Dark leoshi who knew exactly what was going on.

Yapi was breathing heavily, gasping for air. She had Leo with her, though he was completely unconscious. She swam slowly to the dockside, tossing his soaked body up on land before jumped up herself.

"...I have seen all I need to see." Dark Leo said. he turned around.

"Don't even think about it!" Moshi shouted. She abruptly turned and shot a quick shadow ball from her claws.

Dark leoshi smirked. Suddenly, he vanished. The others gasped as the ball continued it's course until flying off and hitting a random place somewhere in town.

Moshi and John turned their attention to Yapi. "Are you okay, Yapi?" John asked.

"I think so." She said. "Leo's out cold... this is very bad."

"I know. Without him, we can't use the book to defend ourselves." Moshi said. She went over to him and reached for the book. Yapi suddenly grabbed her claw.

"What do you think your doing?" Moshi asked.

"You have tried to steal the book before." Yapi said. "I will keep the book for now."

"Drat." Moshi thought.

Yoshifrog gave a quiet groan. One thing she knew, she was searching the town, then the next a shadow ball came and gave her a decent whack.

"What the heck was that all about?" she asked, shaking her head.

She got up and began to run toward where the ball had come from. She nearly made it, though she was cut off when she came to an amazing sight.

Yin was in the middle of a slash attack. Demon jumped and avoided the attack. In his counter move, he took the suriken and swung it like a blade. Yin jumped to avoid the first one, used a knife to block herself the second time, and ducked the third.

On the fourth swing, the blade broke and Yin dropped her knife.

"Plan B." Yin thought. She revealed a sword hidden from the enemy. She gave it a hard swing and struck the shuriken. It flew from demon's hands and slammed into a building, stabbing itself into a wall.

Demon merely laughed and revealed another shuriken.

Suddenly they both saw a shadow appear below them.

"Look out!" Yoshifrog shouted.

Unfortunately, both of the fighters heeded her warning and run before Teo's dragon form landed on the ground. He rushed towards Demon, ready to strike with a great might.

"Think again." Demon said before swinging the shuriken. He tossed it at Teo's dragon body. Though his skin was too rough to let the blade Pierce through, he did go flying until he crashed abruptly into a building, taking out a wall.

"Does he see me?" Yoshifrog asked. "One was to find out..."

Demon suddenly heard footsteps rushing toward him. he gave a look and spotted Yoshifrog rushing at him. Because he had just used his only two shurikens, he had left himself unarmed.

In that next instant, he opened her mouth and released her long tongue. Demon watched as his right arm was wrapper around several times by her long tongue. She gave it a tug, and Demon was forced on the ground.

"Such a basic attack. How did she manage to hit me?" Demon asked. He looked up and saw Yin rushing toward him again with the blade. Yoshifrog panicked and released her tongue from Demon. he rolled out of the way in time to avoid the blade.

"Yoshifrog, I wasn't going to hit you!" Yin shouted.

Yoshifrog sighed as she returned her tongue into her mouth. "Sorry." she said, shrugging.

"Yin and Teo both turned their attention back to Demon.

"I shall see to it that I finish you off once and for all!" Demon shouted.

"Now... where am I supposed to go?" Yoshee asked.

<I dunno.> Champ responded.

"They say the best thing to do is start at the bottom and go up. Let's try below." She said, nodding toward a pipe.

Champ nodded back and they both jumped into a pipe.

Upon reaching the bottom, they reemerged in a new chamber. This place was almost completely dark.

<Scary...> Champ added upon looking into the chamber.

"No one said this would be fun." Yoshee said. She began to walk, thought it took her no time to noticed a strange door.

"I wonder where this leads..." She thought before reaching for the door's handle...

"I don't believe this. Neither Moshi or Leo will answer." Enrique sighed annoyed that there was no exit.

The light coming from Enrique's phone was the only light in the chamber.

"They can't keep us in here. No way." Lava said. He gave a laugh and revealed a strange looking key blade.

"We're going to escape with a toy?" Enrique asked.

"No, it's a key blade. A key. I should be able to open then door with it, oh smart one." Lava said.

Enrique gave an annoyed look.

Lava took the key blade and put it against the door. nothing, not even a reaction.

"No way." Lava commented. "The door should open. Something magic's blocking the key!"

"Step aside." Enrique said. "When magic fails, science is always the answer."

He walked toward the door and held a small needle.

"what, are you going to knit?" Lava taunted.

Enrique sighed. "I'm going to pick the lock, oh smart one."

Lava gave Enrique the same face he did a few seconds ago.

Suddenly, the key's lock made a clock sound.

"No way." Lava said.

"Told you." Enrique said, looking and sounding victorious.

Suddenly the door's handle began to turn. Both of them instantly knew he hadn't unlocked the door, someone else had.

The door very slowly creaked open. Both of them prepared themselves for anything...

I apologize for the deal, been very busy! Here's my next part:

The door slowly creaked all the way open. Though the chamber was dark, two sets of eyes where visible.

"...is that Yoshee and Champ?" Lava asked.

"Hey, thank you for saving us." Enrique said, reaching for a handshake. "Have you two found anything-"

He was suddenly interrupted bu the sound of low growling. They both jumped in surprise.

"I'm getting the feeling that's not Yoshee and Champ." Lava added.

"You think?" Enrique asked.

One of the sets walked through the doorway and into the semi-lit chamber. Though cloaked, a long green dragon-like snout comming from it's hood, as well as a set of red glowing eyes and a large mouth with a smirk complete with a set of long fangs.

"We meet at last." the cloaked one said.

"Who are you?" Lava asked.

"...my name is Nauro."

"Is this really necessary?" Moshi asked.

She, John and Yapi began back towards the town. John kept Leoshi on his own back.

"I say we just leave him at a hospital or something. We have the book, so he's useless now." John said.

"Yeah, but what if he wakes up and finds out the book is missing?" Yapi asked.

"Who cares?" Moshi asked. "Yapi, you can probably use the spells and protect the book, so Leoshi's not going to help anymore. I think we should just leave him at the Inn and get on our way. So far, he's done nothing but put us in this mess."

"And you tried to destroy us before. What's you're point?" Yapi asked.

"Admit it. We're all better of without him slowing us down." Moshi said.

"Well..." John thought.

"Look." Moshi said. "Give him to me. I'll leave him at the Inn. We should go find the others anyway... right?"

"Okay, then it's settled." John said. he reached over and placed Leoshi on Moshi's back.

"I will take care of things." Moshi said.

"Fine." Yapi said. She looked down at the book. "Let's go find the others."

"Those fools." Moshi said, with Leo in the air. "I'll make sure he gets to an Inn. Then, without him to order us around about the book, I won't have a hard time getting it."

She flew into the window, and dropped Leo on a bed. she gave another look at his unconscious body. "Now that that's done..."

She looked to the window and jumped out. In a matter of seconds, she was gone, and Leo was resting in the bed, like nothing had ever happened...

Yoshee finally finished opening the door she had found.

"Oooo.... what's this place?" She asked.

She and Champ had found their way into a chamber with a pipe.

"...the pipe looks creepy and dark." Yoshee said.

<So, do you think Moshi might be down there?> Champ asked.

Yoshee thought about it whilst observing the pipe. "Better to do it and say we tried." Yoshee said. She sighed and jumped through the pipe, with Champ in tow...

Yapi, John, and Moshi found themselves at the center of town, after catching the sight of a huge dragon.

"What the heck's that?" John asked.

"I recognize those attacks. Demon's back!" Yapi said.

"Demon, huh?" John and Moshi said. being absent from the first battle, they where unaware of him.

"We fought him when we had to save Enrique and Yoshee." Yapi filled them in. "I'm surprised to see him again."

Teo's dragon form as immediately flying right at Demon. he simply tossed yet another shuriken up into the air. This one struck Teo in mid-flight. He gave a loud roar of annoyance and crashed down on the ground.

Demon's attention turned back to Yin. She held two blades now instead of one.

"So... so far I have only seen your swords and blades." Demon said. 'I have heard tales of you, possessing other abilities."

"I may have to." Yin said. She sighed and removed the bandanna, revealing her golden eye once more.

"Then, I suppose it's time to get serious." Demon said.

"let us help!" Yoshifrog shouted.

"No!" Yin suddenly blurted out. "This is my battle."

"Let her finish it." John said, stepping in front of Yoshifrog.

"But..." Yoshifrog started.

"It's hard, but it's something we have to let Yin do." Yapi said.

"Her battle?" Teo asked. "What about me?"

"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get into alot more battles." Moshi said.

Yep, I decided to try and include Yapi's Nauro character she made for the game, thanks again! short, but all I could think of for now. I will try to write a longer one next time.
