Yayz, my buddies came! And shweet, we're about to face off the three baddies: that pirate guy, the principal, and that ninja!
Is the ninja Demon by any chance?

Sorry for that last delay, but I got the next part up! It doesn't have as much action as I would have hoped, but it helps...

There was only one ray. Though one was enough to signal on-coming doom. It was like a beacon of ominous and impending doom. How could something so blase mean such terror?

The first light of the sun was rising over the lapping seas, weakly giving a shine over the Majestusa. The still-anchored ship remained at the same spot, with the smaller gummi boat pulled on it's decks. There was a foreboding silence everywhere you could look. Their painted sail wove over the ship, large and proud like a beacon, beckoning for attention. Yin's egg illustration was in contrast in color to everything else as far as the eyes could see. For now it was more then a simple work of art, but instead a symbol of their strength and ongoing perseverance toward their goals.

More and more of the sun was revealing itself over the quaint ocean waves now. As it did, there was a sudden stirring sound that broke the silence. The door suddenly opened up, revealing behind it a crew of makeshift pirates.

"It's morning." Enrique noted. "It's good to see we made it before those evil pirates found us."

"Are we all accounted for?" Yoshee asked.

Enrique quickly looked at the group. "Leo, me, Yoshee, Champ, Lava, Yin, Moshi, Yoshifrog, Teo, Yapi, Eloeem, Yoshiken, LD, Treyba, Fantasy guy, and Velvet T." Enrique sighed and took a gasp for air, after reciting so many names. "I think this crew is big enough to stand up against an attack."

Yoshiken gave a hearty chuckle and help up his katana, looking himself once more in the reflection of his perfectly polished blade. "I say we get started."

The group nodded.

"Then we should let Yoshiken plan this. He knows more about these pirates then any of us." Yin said.

"So, there's 16 of us." Yoshiken said. "Good. I'll divide us up into groups of four."

"Wait, I thought I did the divisions!" Enrique exclaimed.

The group let a sweat drop. "No offense." Yoshee said. "But the last two times you divided the group, you got captured. One of those times it was me too."

"And me!" Lava shouted.

"I assure you, I have done the math." Enrique said.

"Enrique." Yoshee sighed. "Let someone else with more experience handle this."

Enrique looked down in defeat. "Fine, it's for the best." "But don't look at me if things mess up."

"Let's see..." Yoshiken said, thinking aloud. "Enrique, Yoshifrog, Eloeem, and Teo. We will need you four to control the ship if we get attacked." he turned to a different spot. "Yoshee, Champ, Yin and Moshi should protect the upper decks."

The two groups separated from one another, but stayed in the area.

"Lava. Since you claimed to be a captain among your friends, you should prove it to them. You and your friends will go on a stealth mission if we are attacked. You will sneak on board an enemy ship."

"Wait!" Lava shouted. "I was just kidding, I'm not a captain!"

"Lava..." Yoshiken said, with an annoyed voice.

"Alright." Lava said. "We'll be the best stealth team on the sea!" Treyba, Fantasy Guy, and Velvet nodded.

"I believe that leaves myself, Yapi, LD, and Leoshi on direct offense." Yoshiken said.

"I can't attack that well." Leo said, almost instantly. "Perhaps I should stay below deck and make sure the book is safe."

"Don't worry." Yoshiken said. "I'll be there, fighting. Believe me, there hasn't been a single one of them who's gotten past me!"

Leo gave Yoshiken a worried, pathetic look. "I don't think I can. I'll get in the way."

"Leo, I will not hear anymore of that. Just stop it." Yoshiken said. Leoshi looked back up. "Trust me." Yoshiken said, striking a pose with a thumbs up.

Moshi gave a groan as she stood, arms folded and leaning on a railing. "Who does this guy think he is?"

Yin noticed Moshi, with the same expression she always had. "Something up?"

"No, mind your business, fan-girl." Moshi said, not bothering to look up.

Yin looked like she was going to scream. "I am NOT a-"

She stopped herself before she went further, to realize all 15 other crew members where looking right at her.

"...sorry." Yin said. As the others went about their tasks, she gave a quick glare to Moshi. "I'll get back at you for that."

Moshi, looking quite smug, returned her comment with a small smirk.

The sun was now up in the sky, giving a brighter glow in the horizon. The winds where now stronger, the waves higher, and the adrenaline to a new peak.

"Raise the anchor!" Yapi shouted. "Let's get going!"

The ship's anchor slowly rose from the water, as the ship instantly began to move in the winds.

"We're finally off." Eloeem said.

Enrique, who was atop the mast in the crow's nest, sighed. "Not a moment too soon. There's another ship on the horizon."

Teo glanced over at the crew. "Did anyone else tell your friends to come?"

Nobody responded. Teo looked back at the top of the mast.

"It's safe to assume those are the real pirates!" Teo replied.

"This isn't good." LD said. "They will be here soon, maybe in a couple of minutes!"

"We're ready. We cat take them." Yoshiken said. "Everyone should take their places, and get ready for battle."

As the temporary pirates assumed their positions, they finally realized it was time. With enemies literally on the horizon, both old and new, this would be one of the hardest coming battles of their lives...

"Ah..." a gruff voice said.

The principal, looking quite enjoyed, stood at the end of the ship's side. "I am finally back. It took me a while, but we found those troublemakers."

"Are you sure?" Demon asked, standing beside him.

"Positive. I can recognize Yin's fan-girl artwork anywhere." the principal said, pointing to the distant sails of the ship nearby. The principal looked at Demon.

"Demon. The best student in my senior class and world-feared fighter. This is your final exam." the principal said.

Demon smirked. "Yes, if you decide to put it that way, master." He looked away from the principal. "Little does that pompous fool realizing I am working for a different master. Look at him, so unsuspecting. he has no idea..."

Behind them came the sound of footsteps walking on a wooden deck. They both turned around and saw a new figure, standing there. It was Charfg, with his crew of Dry bones.

"Good morning, captain." they both said.

The principal took a few steps forward. "Everything is prepared. We will attack them on your command."

Charfg smiled. "Excellent. All hands on deck! Set a course directly for the ship with the Yoshi-egg sail!"

Yin had to paint an egg to make us all recognizable, though it does look pretty . Man, they should make a movie outa this! This is the stuff movies are made of.

The ships where sailing closer and closer together. Any minutes now they would be running parallel.

"Get ready..." Yoshiken instructed.

Through the magnified eye of a telescope up on the crow's next, Two looked ahead. His eyes scanned the decks of the enemy vessel.

"...I see them." he said to Eloeem, who was standing beside him. "It's the principal, Demon... and that one must be Charfg."

"So, are we going to attack?" Eloeem asked.

"No." Enrique said. "We wait for their first move then counter it if they attack."

There was an ominous silence now. Enrique and Eloeem took a ladder down to the decks of the ship, where everyone else was.

"Enrique, lead your team below deck. Moshi, keep yours here. Lava, you group will hide behind the mast and board that ship when you can. My team will "greet" these guys." Yoshiken instructed. The groups separated, as Yoshiken led Leo, Yapi, and LD, who was holding a skateboard to the edge of the deck, where their ship was the closest to the enemy's.

For a second, their eyes met their opponent's eyes. Yapi's concerned expression met the principal's smug expression. Leo's worried expression met Demon's emotionless one. Yoshiken gave a glare to Charfg, who gave one back, as LD looked confused about the whole ordeal.

The exchange of expression was enough. In the next instant, the enemy ship had changed course, steering directly into the Majestua.

Without enough reaction time, they couldn't react and the ships collided, throwing everyone on board on the deck floors.

Then came the sound of an explosion. A canon on Charfg's ship fired at such a point blank range. Both of she ships separated by the blast. Dust filled in the air, as waves crashed over the decks.

As the dust and waves receded, there revealed to be no damage. Yoshiken had intercepted the attack, blocking the cannonball with but his katana.

"...darn." LD commented. "...this is no ordinary dragon-yoshi... to be hit with such power and then come out unscathed... who is this?"

"Okay, go!" Yoshiken ordered.

Yapi took Leo off the ground and began to fly him over the water. As he was lifted, he revealed his spell book, ready for an aerial attack if there would be need for one. LD quickly put his skateboard on the ground and began to ride it. As he reached the edge of the ship, he kicked off the side and let himself launch into the air over open water.

"Travox." he said, simply. A gust of wind brushed on him, giving him a boost. He suddenly found himself riding in the air, right toward the enemy ship.

Yoshiken joined them and landed on the ship.

As the four of them landed on the ship's decks, they spotted Dry bones pirates, along with the principal and demon, who where swinging on roped over to the enemy ship.

Charfg and a dozen dry bones awaited them.

Yoshiken held his katana out and made a rush toward the dry bones warriors. His flaming katana sliced through the bones. They gave out anguished cries as they shattered, then turning to dust. There was no indication to show they had ever excised.

Yoshiken went, with a Battle cry, at the next pirates. As he did, his katana was engulfed in flames, radiating and shining.

LD, still on his skateboard, held out a hand toward a nearby enemy and shouted: "Welos!"

A ball of wind appeared in his palms, with a sudden rush. It was like there was a sudden gale, brushing at them all. LD's hair flowed around madly, as he suddenly thrust his hand and forced a ball of wind right at the nearby enemies. They quickly exploded on the spot and shattered.

"They really quite brittle. I don't get why people fear these things." LD commented.

Yapi took off into the air, hovering not over the dry bones, but going toward Charfg himself.

Yapi made a quick hand signal, as her body suddenly radiated with energy, with her bracelets and necklace glowing as bright as stars. "By the power of the elements..."

The rest of her words where incoherent as she muttered a quick attack. With a sudden burst of light, she attacked, with ray of strong light, headed right for Charfg.

He merely held up a mirrored shield. As if it where no big deal, the beam struck off the shield and mirrored itself right at Yapi. She gave a gasp and swerved to the right, allowing the beam to pass her by and fire into the sky.

Leoshi wasn't having as much luck as the others. before he could even cast a spell, a dry bones pirated pinned him down on the deck. The book fell from his hands and hit the floor. He wanted to scream, but did not, because he didn't want the others to be distracted. More and more began to pile near him, holding him down. As they did, a single pirate grabbed the book, unannounced to everyone, and slipped away, behind a door.

Yapi and LD stopped attacking when they thought that the dry bones where gone.

"It's just you and me now, Captain Charfg." Yoshiken said.

The captain said nothing and revealed his own blade.

"...Yoshiken, you are really a wonder." Charfg said.

"How do you figure?" Yoshiken asked, without emotion.

"Hm... I recall a time, not long ago..." Charfg gave a chuckle.

"What?" LD asked.

"There was a time when Yoshiken was not just feared by pirates." Charfg explained, walking toward Yoshiken. "Not long ago, he was feared by all."

Yoshiken slowly lowered his katana.

"You idiots." Charfg said, smugly. "This whole time you didn't know? Yoshiken was once a demon, a monster or pure evil."

Yoshiken was caught off guard by the comment, saying nothing but gripping his katana tighter.

"In fact, he was one of the original evil yoshis. I still recall the days his face was among the top demons, on wanted posters and all..."

Yapi gasped. "...Yoshiken? He was evil?"

"Things have changed." Yoshiken said, gripping the katana even harder, with his eyes narrowing. "I am not that anymore."

"...ah, it's true. Time can help one make new friends, or loose them... people come, people go, but those who are true stay. But you..." Charfg pointed his blade at Yoshiken, sensing the rage building up within him. "You have grown soft. You aren't a hero, it's not your destiny."

There was more silence now. Yoshiken growled a little, with his own blade beginning to glow.

"That's right, unleash your power..." Charfg thought. "...recall those days, Yoshiken? Not always the pirate hunter you where. You where a villian... though I don't get why you threw that all away. For what, these pathetic fools... or is it that in your own heart, you only plan to betray them?"

The others where all speechless. Yoshiken, with infuriated, held out one hand, which was glowing with flames. Yapi and LD both also began to charge up their own magic attacks.

"Do it. Unleash your anger!" Charfg shouted.

All three of them shouted and fired their beams of light/wind/fire. All of their attacks combined into one huge beam, piercing through the air right toward Charfg.

"You fools..." Charfg laughed. he held out his reflective shield again, this time angling it. The beam hit the shield and bounced off. In the next instant, all three of them realized their mistake.

Three seconds later, it struck Leoshi while he was being pinned down. The other pirates dodge the attack, but Leoshi took it at full force. he spiraled through the air, until he struck wall. Leoshi bounced back off of the wall and crashed on the deck. He finally came to a skidding stop. After that, there was silence. He didn't move an inch.

"Oops." LD commented.

Yapi was shocked. "...did we-"

"Look out!" Yoshiken shouted. A second later, Charfg was charging at them with his blade pointed right toward them.

Ooh... action. Nice scene going on in this chapter. The Yoshiken twist is rather interesting as well. I like it.

BTW, you don't mind if Nauro's all one shady color, do you? Except the eyes and mouth.
