I think he showed that by you trying to get at Moshi. Yeah, but Yin would most probably use a bobby pin from under her bandanna to pick at the lock on the hand-cuff or use a replacement jutsu.

Hm... Well, at least I wasn't totally wrong. And Yinyoshi, if I did that, then I'd have no reason for the next action-filled chapter. But rest assured, you'll definetly have your highlight points, as will everyone else. I'll try to get the next one done soon, shouldn't take too long

Bwahaha, I'm the completely tough girl. My favorite sayings are, "Let's do it!" or "I have... a plan." XD. Great job, though. You're a pretty good guesser, when it comes to personality. The suspence is killing me. ^^

Here's my next part, at long last:
-------------------------------
The entire room took a chilling feeling as the dark energy ball was racing toward Leoshi. He gasped and ran as fast as he could. The ball shot beyond him, which crashed in a wall behind them and exploded.
"What was that?" Leoshi asked.
"Do you believe there's more to me then you know?" Moshi inquired.
Leoshi looked up at her and saw a look of complete seriousness. "Why is she doing this?" he thought.
"Hey, you want a piece of us? Come and get it!" Yoshee shouted back.
Moshi gave a battle cry and flew higher into the air. She held out both hands, and another ball of dark energy raced from her palms.
Yoshee jumped in the way, revealing a tennis racket.
"Are you joking?" Leoshi asked.
Yoshee ran ahead, and swung the racket. The ball hit off it, and flew off in a different direction.
"How are you doing this?!" Leoshi asked.
Lava looks like it was his turn. He ran ahead of the others, revealing a sword. It glimmered underneath the artificial light. He stood in a posture, ready to attack or defend at the right moment.
"I knew this was a bad idea!" Yoshifrog stated. She, JohnYoshi, Leoshi, and Enrique watched as the battle began.
Moshi held out both arms and shot two dark energy balls from her hands. One going strait for Yoshee, and other for Lava.
The one leaded for Lava was blocked by his sword. As soon as it cleared off, he ran, and thrust it in the air. It soared higher and higher. Moshi dodged by flying low. The sword flew into the darkness of the chamber and vanished. Only the quiet sound of a clang confirmed it crashing elsewhere.
The ball headed for Yoshee was once again repelled as she swung her racket. It bounced off and began to fly again, right at Moshi. Moshi, still busy recovering from his dodge move, got hit by the ball and shouted.
Unable to keep herself airborne, she started to plummet from the air toward the ground.
"Whoa! This has gotten out of hand!" Leoshi said.
Moshi suddenly flapped her wings rapidly. She came mere inches toward the ground, but was able to stop her decent and arise back into the air, hovering menacingly over all the others.
As the battle continued, Leoshi looked to the book again. He opened the page and looked.
"Last night... Yin told me some of the words..."
"Danger." He said. "What does this-"
Leoshi suddenly realized. It was like a prediction. One that had come to a terrible truth.
"Spell." he said, recalling her word. He tried to member what the third word she could decipher was. At last, it came to mind. "Oh yes..."
For some reason, right before he said it, there was an odd sensation in his hand, the one holding the book. His voice sounded different and louder as he spoke:
"Shidome!"
Suddenly, there was a bubble around him. It was glowing as well.
The battle came to a halt. All of them looked at Leoshi.
"What's going on with him?" Yoshifrog asked.
"How did he do that? I thought he couldn't use magic." Lava said.
"Dude, that's weird. How are you doing that?" Enrique asked.
Moshi gasped as she looked at him. "Leoshi can read the book?"
Leoshi tried to reach out and touch the bubble around him. As he did, he felt a sharp sting, like one would feel if being shocked by static electricity. He took his arm back and yelped. A second later, the bubble vanished, just as mysteriously as it had come.
"I understand now. That was a shield of some sort! But how did I do that?" he thought.
"NOW!" JohnYoshi shouted.
Suddenly, Lava's sword was in the air again. He had apparently found it, and it was headed right for Moshi.
Too surprised to dodge, she shielded herself with her wings. She managed to keep herself from getting stabbed, but the force caused her to spiral down-wards. She crashed back onto the catawalk where YinYoshi was held captive. There was a loud creaking noise, as the entire catawalk shook, the fell, taking both of them down with it.
"NO!" the group shouted in unison. A second later, the massive metallic platform struck the stone ground. Debris and dust filled up the room. The lights flickered on impact, as everyone had to close their eyes from the dust.
As it cleared, they saw Moshi standing there on the ground, as if she where completely unfazed, but very mad.
"You!" She shouted at Leoshi. She was running to-wards him, with a dark ball forming in her hands. "Give me that book or I'll-"
But it all stopped. Moshi froze and gasped in terror.
Yinyoshi stood, with an arm extended at Moshi, with her knife ready to strike. Yin was now free, and the tables had turned.
"I told you I'd get my revenge." Yinyoshi said.
"...no." Moshi said. Her expression of seriousness had now turned to that of fear.
"Face it." Enrique said. "We have you surrounded."
"I have you trapped." Yin added.
"It's over." Leoshi said.
Moshi gave a growl, and closed her eyes.
"Does anyone else here have no idea what's going on?" Yoshifrog added from the background.
"Now, you owe us all an explanation." Leoshi said. "What is this book, how did I use that shield, and why did you try to destroy us over it?"
Moshi realized there was no way out anymore... "Fine, I'll explain."
----------------------
Sorry, but I'm ending this part here. I'll try to add more on soon.

Thanks. Sorry to keep you waiting, here's my latest:
-------------------------------------------
At first, there was silence. Moshi remained firm, in-spite of the knife held at her face. Yin gave back an expression one would have when they desire vengeance. The others where in a circle surrounding them.
"That book is much more dangerous then you could ever fathom." Moshi said. "It is 3,000 years old."
Collective gasps and exclamations filled the chamber.
"There where not even books that long ago." Leoshi said.
"Yes, there was. This text has been on this world for a long time. A time where an ancient order ruled over the land.
The others watched in intrigue. Leoshi looked down on this book in wonder. Yin began to ease up with the tension; her own hands clutching less and less to the knife.
"This was the ancient order that was said to know all. They practiced magic of all sorts. And that book, the very one you hold in your hands, was their reference book. It contained all of their magic spells." Moshi continued.
"Then 3,000 years of history rests in my hand." Leoshi thought. His eyes where wide open, his mouth agape.
"But there was a challenge to this order. A wicked power of darkness threatened to destroy all of this world. The brave and valiant mages tried their bests to protect this world... but to no avail. One by one, they fell to this dark force."
Leoshi began to understand just how sinister this book was.
"Before this ancient land was destroyed, the ruler of the order demanded all of their magic be transfered to the book... then, with no more magic ability in themselves, they all fell."
It was a chilling statement. Yin lowered the knife slowly, her face also becoming surprised.
"The evil that destroyed this world tried to take to book. With that much power, it could end existance... but a curse was placed on the book... and that darkness was destroyed the second it came into contact with it. Later on, it was sealed away in a sacred temple, which was forgotten over time." Moshi looked down and sighed.
"...I'm not sure if I believe that entirely." Leoshi said.
"You must, I'm not lying." Moshi said. "Now... in our own time, something broke the seal, and the book was recovered by a new enemy..."
"You mean like those thugs that attacked us on the roof of the school." Enrique asked.
"Those fools?" Moshi asked. "They are meddlers. All they want is power, just like any other fool who knows about it... they are nothing compared to the true darkness that desires that book. Of course, the curse remained intact, and the dark enemy was unable to touch the book. Instead, a mind controlled servant held it... but lost the book as he was escaping from thugs... and you know the rest." Moshi said.
The others gasped. There was no doubt that they where all very surprised.
"...cool." was all Lava managed to say.
"Cool?!" Yoshee asked. "That kid's got a book with magic powers that could destroy us all, and that's cool?!"
"You got to admit it..." Lava added.
"...wow. And I thought math class with that mean teacher was evil." Yoshifrog added in.
"It's unbelievable." Johnyoshi said, adding in.
Even Yin looked surprised. Putting the knife away, she stepped backward.
"Now, we are all locked in a dangerous, life-threatening battle... one that holds the destiny of everything that exists." Moshi said.
"You're still not done yet." Leoshi said. Moshi looked up.
"What was you're role on this? Where you after power as well?" Leoshi asked.
Moshi gave him an offensive look. "I already told you, I have my reasons!"
"...like it or not, you're with us now as well. If we don't ban together, then this books will have no difficulty falling into the wrong hands, as you say." Leoshi said.
"Fine." Moshi said, with a defeated expression.
"...now can we get back to school before someone realizes we're missing?" Yoshifrog asked.
"Or when someone sees the damage we just did to this place?" Lava added in.
"Yes..." Yoshee said. "This is where things get complicated."
As they all walked toward the exit, Leoshi shot a glare at Moshi. "Just when I thought things where over, I find out this. Now, our true troubles are just starting."

How's that?
