Oh noes, Champ was talking aloud half the chapter, haha. Eh, conventions got you again, Leo. That's the only critique I have. Watch what you type, haha. Maybe type your chapters in a word processor, and then copy and paste them back here?
In other words, I love this story. It's so awesome Double-scoop ice cream Moshi's attitude made me laugh, hahaha.

Ah shoot, I can't believe I missed that. Darn, though-speak is very tricky. Thanks for letting me know, Yoshee! ...and I do write them in a word processor, by the way.

I was finally able to get on the computer and get a chance to catch this new chapter! Oh if I get my hands on the stupid punk who stole my my blades I'll, I'll... USE MY LIGHTNING BLADE JUTSU! MUHAHAH!! Oh, gone a little overboard there. But seriously this stuff you right is awesome! Oh by the way Leo my character has to additional jutsus I wanted to see in the story, I could PM them to you if you like, you don't have to go through all the trouble

Actually, Yin, that would help to know. I'll only use what you send me, if you want. I know your character thusfar has been using mostly close combat items, so a jutsu or however many you want would be great!

There I sent you them, maybe I'll send more when I'm at my home computer because my aunt's computer mouse won't work right and my grandma keeps bugging me. LEVEL UP ! ! I'd also want to mark off each chapter so everyone can know what chapter we're on by number. This is chapter 105 by the way.
Edit: I been wondering about this for a while but, does Demon have any other weapons, like a guillotine sword maybe?

And I didn't read this earlier...why? This really makes me happy, every time I read a new chapter, a new episode, a new little ounce of goodness. Whatever it is you're doing right in your story, I LIKE it!! ...I do wonder what the pancakes were made out of, but oh well ... And why are the leading party's weapons stolen? The person who stole them could have killed them then and there, but didn't... just stole their weapons... hmmm... another mystery!

Maybe to force the leading party to give up their first place position to them back. Not to metion I feel a big fight is going to happen. Yep a BIG fight.

Hmm looks like everyone beat me to what I wanted to say and I would have to agree with Hunter completely. Hopefully I can come up with something more useful to say next chapter!

Alright, sorry for being so late on this one. I finally got it done. I know it isn’t to much, though I hope it works for now, at least. It’s probably obvious, but I’ve included a new member, at his request into the story. I hope I did this right.
----------------------------------------------------------
“Man, of all the stupid things to do.” The proctor sighed.
He and Jolene had boarded a chopper and were now flying toward the area that the racers were last spotted in. Since they were not part of the race, they were able to take a shortcut, which would bring them into the jungle area in a matter of hours. There was no sound from either of them, aside from the humming of machinery.
Jolene was feeling a tad uneasy, since she left the flying city and joined the proctor, alone in the middle of the sky. Peering up, she could see the fast spinning blade, and below, trees rushing past.
-----------------------------------------------------------
The sky had become a bit darker, but only within the area by the river. There was a single yoshi. His color was a lot darker the most yoshis, and he had long, messy purple hair which extended all the way to his shoulders. One of his paws was concealed by a brown glove, whilst the other arm looked mutated to form a claw. His spiked fingers were wrapped around the handle of a huge scythe, with a dark wooden handle and huge metal blade. Both of his shoes were brown, matching the gloves, with oddly placed holes on the top. Trailing behind the mysterious dark entity, a red shoulder cape flowed against the morning winds. Though it was morning, around this particular yoshi, it seemed to be twilight.
He came to a stop at a curious sight at the edge of the river, causing him to stop and stare with his purple, pupiless eyes. There was a very beaten up machine resting at the side of the river, halfway in the rapids. It was the Chao walker. By this point, it had quite the few dents and scratches. A few areas of the ship were covered in ragtag patches. The dark yoshi approached the empty vessel and looked within it, realizing that there was nobody there. The sad machine was secured to the river bank only by a single wire.
He was not entirely expert with carpentry, though he knew that such a pathetic thing would sink a few minutes after it went back out into the water.
Twi rose the scythe. He starred the battered machine right in it’s mechanical eyes. “If you went out there, you’d just kill you’re crew. I’ll save them the trouble and just kill you instead.”
Then, without a though of remorse, he took his mighty weapon and slammed it onto the wire. With no resistance, the wire snapped loudly. Now, with the current tugging on the walker’s left side, the machine began to shake. The dark yoshi only watched from the side of the shore. After a few moments, waves began to pick up, and pulled the unfortunate ship off of the ground. It instantly began to submerge, water filling within the cracks. The chao walker bobbed back and forth in the rapid waves, tumbling down the river. Finally, with a single wave, the chao walker vanished as it drifted away from the site.
“1 ship down. 4 more to go.” His expression remained dark, and devoid of any smile.
With that, the dark yoshi walked away from the site, carrying his twilight atmosphere along with him.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The area near a few jungle plants wasn’t too safe either. The forgotten sixth crew had gathered around the woods.
“Ah, I get it!” Ansem said, slamming his two fists down on a makeshift table. “…wait, what?”
“Idiot.” Nauro stated. “Can’t you stay focused for one moment?”
“Take that back!” Ansem shouted, pointing his finger right in Nauro’s face.
Demon and the cloaked one, who was only known as Mystère, sat completely quiet against some nearby trees. At that point, the other didn’t really care. Zelek, whom was also resting, was sitting on the top of a stump. Curiously, leaning on the stump were a total of 5 katana, as well as a few kunei and shuriken blades, topped of by a small, disarmed mini-gun.
“I don’t get why you just didn’t destroy them when you went in there.” Ansem said. “You would have saved yourself a lot of trouble, Zelek.”
Zelek slowly got up. “If I attacked one of them, the other 4 would have woken up and ambushed me. I would still had defeated them easily, but it would have gathered too much attention. As of now, only 4 teams remain in the race.
“4?” Ansem asked.
“Yoshee’s means on transport was just destroyed.” Zelek said. “The one who did it is coming this way, too. We should greet him.”
The area began to get darker, as if the sun had decided to set once more. Ansem reached for a nearby weapon, but Zelek rose his hands. “Don’t.”
They could hear footsteps walking toward them. A figure darker then the already dark atmosphere approached them from behind the trees.
“You already destroyed their ship?” Zelek asked.
The mysterious one nodded.
“Nicely done, Twi.”
Twi sighed. “I only got rid of their ship. Why do you want to only get rid of their weapons and ships?”
“Our objective is to win. It will take less time if we don’t kill them all off.” Zelek said. “And with the prize, we can attain everything we’ll need to do whatever we want, and that includes doing away with our enemy.”
“…whatever.” Twi said. “You better just stick to your end of the deal.”
“You must, as well.” Zelek said. “Go on. Search for the next team. Destroy their ship, but don’t kill the enemy just yet.”
Twi nodded. “…yes, right away.”
“…well, before you go…” Zelek started. He walked and kicked all of the weapons she stole. The 5 katana all stabbed themselves into the ground next to Twi. The kunei and shuriken clattered to the dirt, and the small little gun made a shaking noise as it landed.
“Take these with you. I don’t care what you do with all of them, destroy them, attack with them, whatever. The 5 of us have no use for such toys.”
Twi nodded, taking all five of the katana, and placing them on a belt. He also took the gun, hiding in a holster on said belt. However, he had no more space for the shuriken or kunei. “I’ll leave these weapons here.”
“Suit yourself.” Zelek said.
With that, Twi made his leave.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Still carrying the creepy twilight atmosphere around with him, Twi continued to walk in the rather large jungle. The 5 newfound katana were clattering at his side.
“Noisy little things, aren’t they?”
It had been only a couple of days since Twi discovered the evil racing team, stuck at the bottom of the waterfall. Still, if it weren’t for the fact of Zelek’s deal, he would have gotten rid of them on the spot.
Twi looked up and spotted two ships, which were sailing in the sky, parallel to one another, right above him.
“Hm?”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
“You heard me, Moshi!” Midnight shouted. “I’m going to blow your ship apart.”
Moshi folded her arms. “Then do it already. We don’t have time for talking, we are racing, you know.”
“Alright then!” Midnight shouted. “Shez, Kator, Yoshark! Prepare to attack them on my mark!”
Moshi looked back toward the ground. There was a shiny, spinning object, no longer then 3 feet, spinning right toward Midnight’s ship. There was no other warning.
Midnight pointed towards Moshi‘s ship. “Hurry, blow it up!”
But it wasn’t the Majestuosa which would break. In the next second, the spinning blade sliced through Midnight’s battleship. Before she even realized it, there was an enormous explosion, and the battleship shattered on impact. The force of the explosion sent the Majestuosa, who managed to miss the flames, away from the area and spinning away. The loud rumble of explosion sounded strong then that of thunder, and the light of the fire looked like a new star in the sky. Luckily, Midnight, Yoshark, and Shez all managed to fly off of the ship as it exploded. Kator, however, had just begun his own plunge toward the river below.
Moshi, who watched from the deck, gave a smirk. “…wow, she can’t even blow up the right ship.”
The satisfied cynical yoshi walked back inside the Majestuosa’s dinning room. Everyone had been thrown to the floor, all of whom were very confused.
“WHAT IS GOING ON?!” Spider asked.
Moshi, still smirking, replied: “Nothing.”
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Twi held his un-clawed hand out, and caught the katana. “So then this toy does have some use. No wonder Yoshiken carries this all of the time. Well, with them down, that leaves just three more teams.”
Twi resumed walking on the side of the rapids, with all of his new weapons clattering. However, he had gotten almost nowhere, when Yoshiken suddenly jumped before him from a bush.
“I got to find it, I got to!” Yoshiken shouted, not realizing that Twi was there. He looked back and forth. Yoshiko, Yin, John, and Yoshifrog all trailed behind him.
“Why do… you have to run… so fast?” Yoshifrog asked, a bit out of energy and with deep breaths.
Twi realized that these were the five who were robbed of their weapons last light. Twi, still having not been noticed by the others, unsheathed Yoshiken’s sword.
“Hey, mate.” Twi said. “Is this what you are looking for?”
They had all finally noticed Twi. Yoshiken was the most surprised, seeing this yoshi carrying his blade.
“Hey, my blade!” Yoshiken shouted.
Twi took a look at Yoshiken’s katana. “This is yours, isn’t it?” With that, he let go of the blade. It tumbled against the angled ground, and spun right into the rapids, vanishing from view behind relentless waves.
Yoshiken gasped. “HEY!”
“The rapids won’t take it anywhere, it’s at the bottom of the water. Feel free to go get it, if you want.” Twi said.
Yoshiko pointed at him. “He’s got my blade too!”
“And three of mine!” Yin also stated.
Twi stood there, without saying a word.
“Then you’re the guy who took our stuff, aren’t you?” John asked.
Twi started walking toward them. As he did, he let all of the stolen weapons fall on the ground. “They were weighing me down anyway. It’s no fun if a fight is unfair, isn’t it?”
Yin watched in disbelief. “…what exactly are you suggesting?”
Twi rose his clawed arm out this time, making his enormous scythe materialize.
“…violence, of course.”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meh, that’s what I have prepared at the moment. Next time, I’ll include more teams into the mix. I hope I won’t keep you all waiting as long next time.

Yes, you did do this right, just like all of the other 100+ chapters in your story. Your introduction of Twi was fitting for the character and (the character) was developed exceptionally throughout the chapter. Hmm it looks like a lot of people are going to have to find a new method of transportation, and it looks like Yoshiken is going to have to do some swimming! (er can he because water appears to have a negative effect on him... good idea Leoshi!)
Uh... there is one small problem I'm having... and it's the fact that you keep on apologizing for "being late" on completing a chapter. Don't take it the wrong way, I just think it's unnecessary, you aren't on a time table (as far as I know) and there is no pressure. As someone said, "It gets done when it gets done" ;D Other than that you are doing extraordinarily good work!

Eeek, danger.
After looking at all this Sonic art lately, I almost mistook Twi for Shadow, hahaha. Somewhat the same personality, huh?
Your imagery is great, as you repeat the setting multiple times so one can't forget it. Twi is dead meat for screwing MY BOAT *whips out her Tennis racquet*

Mwahahaha! This is great, Leo, firsty thanks for adding me to your fanfic, that's hugely appreciated, I hope Twi adds much to the story. Secondly I like how you've used Twi with the story, very nice, definately how Twi would act. I wonder what the evil team's side of the deal is, I can't wait to find out. Overall I think this chapter is great, just like all the others, keep up the awesome work!
I suggest violence! XD

I was just totally happy altogether when I saw Twi was in this chapter. xD Once more, the last two chapters = love. srsly, yo. I luff them. C: Awesome job as always. Sorry for my lackage of commenting, however. D:

Well that certainly explains some things. I do wonder what's going to happen though now that the Chao Walker is gone. How will they keep racing, will they escape, am I going to rescue them? Only time will tell. Forget time, only Leo will tell As Yoshiko said, I can't believe you included the "I suggest violence". That just makes it so much better... This chapter is totally great... way better than the comments we're leaving.

Alright, I finally got this next one ready. I know it’s extremely late, though school is a real time-consumer. So then, I hope you enjoy:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
LD and Yoshee has been tied a post, with LD restrained behind her. For the time being, all of the tribal toads had left the site, leaving the two of them alone.
“What do you think they want?” LD asked.
“Isn’t it obvious? They’re going to eat us!” Yoshee said.
“…er, eat us?” LD asked. “…but we’re yoshis. Shouldn’t it be the other way around?”
“Whatever. We just got to get out of here, free Champ and Charon, find Jay, get food and fuel, and get back to the Chao Walker before we fall behind… oh wait, we are behind…”
“Well, we still have to do it.” LD said. “…darn, these ropes are strong.”
“Think you could break it with a spell?” Yoshee asked.
“…uh, let me try…”
LD focused for a couple of moments, then, with a shrill battle-cry-eqsue shout, blurted: “Toranto!”
Gales of wind began to surround the post he was tied to. Grass began to dance nearby, and some upset trees rustled as the harsh breezes rushed through them. Even Yoshee was being shooken up. She would have been tossed around, had it not been for the ropes. Oddly enough, LD didn’t shift a bit. His ropes were very strong, and the entire post stayed in place.
Finally, LD gave up the fight, breathing heavily as the winds died down. “…dernnit, these guys tie good knots.”
There was the sudden sound of footsteps. A very tall shadow could be seen passing by on a few trees. Judging by the size of the shadow, this was a humungous Toad, about three stories tall.
“AAAAAH!” LD shouted.
With one thrust, he managed to pull the pole he was tied to out of the ground, though the ropes still remained affixed. He stood with a hunched back, and the tall pole that still restrained his arms. “I’ll come back!”
With that, LD waddled out of the area.
“Wait, what about me?” Yoshee asked. “Come back!!”
Yoshee’s calls went unheard. “LD!!” she shouted.
Though the creature’s footsteps quickly snapped her back to focus. The creature had emerged from behind a tree. Yoshee gasped, quite surprised by it’s size… or lack of it.
Though the shadow projected was tall, this toad was very small, not even half of Yoshee’s size, possibly smaller then Champ even. Her spots were yellow, as well as her yellow shirt and boots. To make her look taller, there was a large, white feather, about as tall as she was standing vertically behind her mushroom head from a headband support. She had wide-set eyes and a very cute expression. She had both of her hands behind her back, and swayed back and forth.
“Hewwo.” she said in a kiddy voice. “I’m Cue T. What’s your name?”
Yoshee couldn’t believe it. “Yoshee. …can you help me?”
“You’re taaaall.” Cue T. responded, looking up at Yoshee. Since she was used to being in company with Toads, a Yoshi looked like a giant in comparison to her.
Yoshee sighed. “This is going to be harder then I thought.”
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jay was rushing through the jungle, jumping from tree to tree as opposed to running. He held a face of seriousness all the way across.
Jay finally finished jumping and landed on the riverbank.
He was surprised by the emptiness of the site.
“Hm…? Isn’t this were we put the Chao Walker?”
He was hoping to find their craft in order to call someone with it’s communications.
Jay looked in every direction possible. As the green dragon looked down, he spotted a chain, which was noticeably broken by a blade. He lifted up the chain into one of his claws. “…someone destroyed the Chao Walker. Now what?”
“……aaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAA-”
BAM!!!
Jay was struck by something that fell from the sky. There was a huge explosion on the spot, forcing Jay onto the ground. The force was strong enough to create a crater.
Jay, however, was fine. He got back up without any effort. “…what the-”
It was Kator, whom had finally finished his free fall. Remarkably, he was still alive, though a bit dazed.
Jay sighed and picked up the fox carefully. “…what were you doing up there?”
Kator was way too dazed to respond.
“…never mind.”
Jay looked back at the severed chain. “…so then, the walker, the village, and the tribe… this whole thing was one big sabotage.”
The wind picked up a little. Jay let the chain fall to the ground, and sighed. “Whoever did this couldn’t have chosen a better time.”
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yoshark, Midnight, and Shez landed in a clearing, with a large lake in it. Midnight was already pacing the area back and forth, in a tad of frustration. Meanwhile, Shez and Yoshark had decided to rest, setting themselves near the water.
“We lost two members of our group, and now our airship.” Midnight said.
Things were very still a bit noisy, since the remnants of their airship were fall back down to the ground. There were a couple of crashing sounds and explosions, which all three of them had decided to ignore.
“So, uh…” Shez started. “We’re pretty much out of the game now, aren’t we?”
“No.” Midnight said, without even thinking about it. “Forget Hunter and Kator. The three of us will steal a craft and take it to the end.”
“Steal a craft?” Yoshark asked.
“Alright.” Shez stated.
“Wait, you want to actually steal one?” Yoshark asked. “That’s kind of dangerous.”
“Don’t care.” Midnight said. “If we want to win, we got to take it immediately.”
“Who’s craft do you have in mind?” Shez asked.
“Let’s take that flying old ship with the yoshi egg sail. Just to spite Moshi and Hunter.”
Shez nodded. Though Yoshark held a face of disbelief, he also gave a reluctant nod.
“The three of us will have to ambush them.” Midnight said. “Up ahead, further along the course, there’s a volcano. We’ll get there, somehow before they do, and then we can take their ship.”
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Twi opened the battle, by letting forth a sphere of darn energy. Yin, who was in the way of it’s path, jumped into the air, avoiding the attack.
As she flew, Yin prepared her counter attack. She quickly formed a few hand signs, then articulated: “Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu”
Yin unleashed a series of fireballs, concentrated into many directions. Twi simply looked toward the balls of fire and sighed. In the next instant, a dark flash filled the area, and Twi had vanished.
Yin ceased her attack. “Where is he?”
Twi, in yet another flash, reappeared right behind Yin. Yin quickly turned around.
“He teleported!” Yin shouted, take a bit by the surprise attack.
Twi attempted to swing his enormous scythe, though Yin managed to evade the attack.
Yoshiko, whom had at this point recovered his blade, blocked Twi’s scythe. He then thrust his blade to force Twi’s scythe off.
Twi slashed at Yoshiko again, which Yoshiko was able to block, resulting in a loud clang.
“Hey, purple eyes!”
Twi looked into a field of trees. A small rock conked him on the head, and immediately bounced back off. Twi was completely unphased. He looked back into the woods, and spotted Yoshifrog, with a handful of rocks.
“You like that?” She asked challengingly. She quickly chucked another rock, which also bounced off his head. Twi remained still, starring back Yoshifrog with his own evil glare. Yoshifrog whimpered, dropped the rest of the rocks, and rushed behind a tree. “Ok, I’m done.”
John had also retreated into the trees, though he was in the branches. He had his small gun, pointing it toward Twi. Though the others who were fighting him kept getting in the way.
“Darn it.” John sighed. “How am I supposed to get a clear shot?”
Yoshiken seemed to want to a round fighting against Twi. He gave a snap of the finger, and in doing so, sparks formed, and the tip of his index lit up, similarly to a match.
“I got this.” Yoshiken said. “Yoshiko!”
Yoshiko looked up. “Eh?”
“Can you get my katana?”
“Yeah, hang on.” Yoshiko said, rushing toward the water. With a breath, the dark dragon yoshi threw himself into the rapids.
Instantly, he realized that he was being swept away by the current, as he was already drifting away from the others.
“Oh, darn it!” Yoshiko thought. “Yoshiken, you and your dumb ideas!”
A single wave rushed over his head, and he got swallowed by the river’s waves.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, not too much going on. I hope I’ll get more things going around next time.

Don't throw rocks at me, it's mildly annoying.
Whee! Great chapter as always Leo. Smooth going Yoshiko and Yoshiken, nice plan but you failed to realise you suck at swimming in rapids =D
