Thanks for the compliments, again. Here's another:
--------------------------------------------
"Saturday." Yoshifrog said contentedly. "We finally get the chance to hit the town."
"Yeah..." Enrique said.
The two of them stood outside, in heavier jackets because it was snowing.
"...you're really quiet today." Yoshifrog said.
"Well, I've just been thinking about that book thing." Enrique said. "It's really weird."
"...Yeah, I was there. I saw it too." Yoshifrog said.
"No, I mean, something else. Why did it occur in this city? If it where just a few miles away, we wouldn't have to worry about it ...but it happened right here."
"It's called fate. Things happen." Yoshifrog added in.
"...well, fate dealt a cruel hand last Thursday." Enrique said.
"C'mon, it's our day off." Yoshifrog said. "And look, it's snowing, I think we should go enjoy it."
"Yeah. But do you mind if I ask a question?" Enrique asked.
"Yup?" Yoshifrog asked.
"How much danger do you think we'll be in if this keeps up?"
Yoshifrog shrugged. But their conversation was abruptly cut off as Enrique suddenly shouted and fell down. Yoshifrog looked at him. "What the heck?"
"HA HA!" Lava shouted, from a semi-built snow fort. At his feet where a series of snowballs, one of them he had just pegged Enrique with. "Got ya!"
"Oh, is that you game?" Enrique asked, getting back up. He reached down and began to form a snowball in his hands.
"Uh-oh." Lava said, ducking in his fort.
Enrique looked upward, and realized that he didn't have to hit Lava. Instead, he took a step back. He removed a glove and pointed his index finger in the air. As he measured the wind, his finger began to create a path where he would throw it.
"What are you doing?" Yoshifrog asked, laughing.
Enrique took another step back, then threw the snowball. It flew up, and up... and up...
"Missed!" Lava said contentedly.
The snowball struck the school walls. As it did, it freed a whole bunch of snow from the roof. A whole amount, headed right for Lava.
"Uh-oh." Lava said, ducking into his fort again, Not even that would protect him from the avalanche of snow that barreled down onto him.
Yoshifrog broke into laugher, and Enrique gave quite a content look. About ten seconds later, Lava's head poked out of the pile of snow, with a dazed expression.

Leoshi took his sweatshirt and placed it on himself. Outside of his window, he could hear the others, laughing and enjoying themselves outside. Leoshi wanted to join them, but could not.
"If I go outside, I'll only interrupt their game. And besides, I have to much to worry about." he said. He held the old book in his hands. As he did, he recalled the message he got last night:
"Go to the place where it came from."
"That figure must have been referring to the origin of the book. That would mean I have to go to the temple, where it was sealed for 3,000 years. But if what Moshi was was true, then that would be overseas, on a different continent."
That would mean so many things would be complicated. Having leave school, raise the money to pay for plane tickets, and not to mentions the others would try to follow him.
"I don't like this. But I have no choice. I mush go, and I must do it alone. I've put the rest of them through too much." he thought.
It was just about then, there was a knock on the door. Without being able to open it up in time, the door opened. It was Yin, with a serious expression.
"Oh, Yin." Leoshi said.
"Good morning." She said. "I came to discuss something important."
"Oh?" Leoshi asked.
"Yes." She said. She sat down in a chair. "You... I sense something occurred last night, concerning you."
Leoshi looked up into her face. He didn't want to tell anyone about whatever occurred last night, because of all the complications that would arise.
"Nothing occurred." Leoshi said.
"You are a pitiful liar, you know." Yin said. "I can see it."
"See it?" Leoshi asked. "How can you see-"
Yin sighed. "Trust me, I can see it. Now, if-"
"Hey!" Lava shouted from outside. "Leoshi! Come out, you're missing the fun!"
Leoshi sighed. "May we discuss this later?"
"Of course." Yin said politely. "In the meantime, may I see the book. I want to see if I can decipher anymore of it's text."
"Sure." Leoshi said, handing her the book.
---------------------------------------
"There you are!" Yoshifrog said as Leoshi and Yin both walked outside.
"C'mon, it's all of us VS. Lava!" Enrique said.
"Aw, that's not fair!" Lava shouted.
"Hey, what'd I miss?" Yoshee asked, running in. "Oh, a snowball fight? Count me in!"
Leoshi looked around, and spotted Johnyoshi standing nearby the side of the road.
Leoshi gave a shy wave. Johnyoshi replied by doing the same.
"He looks sad. I wonder why." Leoshi thought.
"Bring it on!" Lava shouted. At that exact instant, about 6 snowballs from all directions flew at him at once. The group started to laugh.
"C'mon, is that the best you got?" Lava shouted. "BRING IT!"
"If you insist." another voice added. They all looked up and spotted Moshi, flying in the air with a bag full of snowballs. She released them all onto Lava.
"Whoa!" Lava shouted, before being buried.
"Nice..." Enrique said.
"That was cheap!" Lava shouted.
"You want cheap?" Moshi asked. She reached into a bag and pulled out a ball of ice.
"Moshi?" Lava asked.
Moshi laughed and chucked it at Lava. He screamed and ducked. The ice chunk missed him by inches...
Suddenly, there was the sound of glass shattering, Shards where flying everywhere.
The group silenced, fear setting in.
"Way to go." Yoshee said. "You just smashed the window of the Principal's office."
