 I was just wondering if anyone was getting the Psp, and do any of you know what games are coming out for it. I heard FF Advent Children was coming out for it. If you have any information please share. Thanks

Nope. For several reasons... - The far inferior battery life to the DS
- There are no games I want for it
- The H U G E price tag
- It does a whole lot of useless crap that I'm not bothered about, I already have an MP3 player that play music, videos, and displays image files (Its an Archos Gmini 400, well worth buying). I don't need a handheld game console to do that too
- Various tales of the square button on certain units not working and sticking
- I just don't want one.

Pfffffffft...phat chance...unless i want the disc to fly out and cut my head off (trust me, i've heard about it), then it'll be the first thing i'll come to. Sure, it has the graphics and the games to back it up...but it loses out on Battery life and Gameplay, and where can i cough up the money to pay for it? (£200 in the UK is a far too pricey...DS, £100...much better!)

I said personally! my PERSONAL opinion is none of his concern. If he wants to get the psp fine im not stopping him but i don't think a yoshi lover would, seeing that there are no yoshi games on the psp. plus all of the above reasons

that and I already have DS as it is gosh guys freak out will ya \ 1. buy rechargable batteries and your all set for the rest of your lives. 2. they havent made hardly any games for it yet. but theyll be coming out.. just be paitent. 3. some people dont have those and this will solve that problem. 4. this could be a problem but when arent there problems like this? 5.thats your opinion and blood of the yoshi. yes it is your personal opinion but its still rude.some people have different intrests than you but that doesnt make them a traiter. sure this is a nintendo website but that doesnt mean they like both. just one better than the other. this is a websitre to express ones feeling toward somehing and not be judged for it! me.. i wish i could get one! i want one sooo bad but yes there is a lot of money for it....  |

Another reason I won't be buying one:
The European release has been delayed for "several months"... mainly becuase Sony didnt make enough units to cope with US and Japanese demand, by the looks of things.

I dont think that the psp is all that bad sure nintendo will always be number one *especially the Zelda Series*and by the way cant wait until the 2005 Legend of Zelda Wooo Wooooo.... ^_^ anywayse but yeah i think that the psp looks pretty fun... I mean hey whatever keeps us out of trouble... |

Like CherryBlossom said I still think nintendo is the best, but you must admit FF is a pretty good series not as great as Zelda b/c Link is in it of course, that sexy beast. And im sure psp isnt gonna be that bad.. Dont hate me...

I won't be getting a PSP because I don't like the thought of my games ejecting themselves when I play them, and then there's the battery life issues. 2 hours? Ha, and thats without wireless running too. PSP does have good features, but the DS is meant to be incorporating PalmOS Operating system technology. That could make the DS own the psp all over. The software library for palm based products is absolutely humongous, but thats if big N decide to get the DS running on PalmOS software. But no. PSP isn't for me. Sony make very unreliable machines, no doubt this one is no different. |
