Silent days aren't always fun. Aside from that, I can't wait to get my new pen tablet! My current pen/graphics tablet is okay I guess but my pen for it is taking some serious damage!  They sure can be expensive; the one I bought is around 200ish US dollars. My previous one is half the price. Don't ask what I got, but I do know that those Wacom Intuos 4 pen/graphics tablet are pretty darn expensive (medium, large, extra large): they are as expensive as 300 US dollars to 700 US dollars |

Tablets are that expensive for you? At my Best Best Intuos and Bamboo tablets go from the $60 to $200 range.. (Bamboo's being the less expensive of the two.) Though my tablet pen's breaking too. :c Every now and then I just hear it crack and I feel like I'm breaking it.  Anyway, I just woke up today, so nothing's really happened. But my brother and his girlfriends kept hogging the living room. Makes me feel like I can't walk around my own house without disturbing them~ |

Tablets can be expensive yes... But I know there are the cheaper ones and I am very aware of the bamboo tablets especially. Perhaps the Intuos (4) tablet you are referring to is the small sized ones. If you ever seen the medium, large, or larger sizes, their prices can be ridiculously high, especially if it is at retail price. The small ones, if I recall, is indeed $200.
Anyways, New Year is coming up soon and my family is now at a sort of food making marathon. It seems so intense, watching my 3 aunts, my mom, my grandma, and my many cousins furiously chop vegetables and meats, with loud sizzling noises on their backs... and not to forget the men doing some grillin' and barbecuing in the backyard.

Yeah, I had a cold and a horrible cough the three weeks before Christmas (and it happened to end on Christmas). It did suck!
Kurtis and I have a Brawl Doubles tournament coming up next Saturday, so we've been practicing the last couple weeks. We won against a couple popular dudes last time, but were put up against the two best players at the tournament next. Just our luck! I don't think I'm nearly good enough to enter Singles yet, but hopefully we rock Doubles!

Brawl Doubles Tournament? Boy Anjil... If only I knew where in California you are partaking these tournaments. Two best players huh? You best better ROCK them! I do wonder what characters you use... I should try playing against you and Yoshiken someday... though we all know how different WFC matches are compared to in person matches.
It's almost new year here!

But it still doesn't work online well...aside from minor slowdowns the emulation is near perfect (Except the stupid FIFO error on savestates)

Kurtis and I don't have a Wii either! We just use our brother's Wiis whenever we visit either one of them. It'd be more convenient if we had one, though. Brawl Doubles Tournament? Boy Anjil... We were looking for some here in California taking place during our vacation, but they're mostly in northern California. I meant that we were beaten by the two best players during the last tournament. No doubt they'll be there again, since they're the ones hosting it.  For Doubles matches, I use Lucario and Kurtis uses Yoshi. |

Just registered for another brawl tournament here in Arizona which will take place next week. This time though, I am going to enter both doubles and singles. We did well in doubles last time, and hopefully this time we get in the top 4 and come out with some money. I have really gotten into the brawl tournament scene lately.

After huge periods of laziness and procrastination, I think I'm finally ready to start posting once more. I only wish that I had done so much sooner... much, much sooner. To try and see the revitalization of my first, and most wonderful home on the internet... that's definitely my New Years resolution.

I've always wanted to participate in a Brawl tournament. I'd like to know how I am compared to other people, since I could never get wi-fi to work on it. I was in a Brawl tournament in high school once... but it was a sad excuse for a tournament. I don't count it.

Just got home yesterday from visiting my cousin for about a week. He's probably the closest person to me in the world and I don't get to see him too often. We had a great time playing Magic and video games all week.

I just got home, as well! It's always so fun spending time with my family. I hope we get to go back sometime soon, possibly when Kurtis has his spring break in March. But for now, all I have to look forward to is jury duty tomorrow. |

It's been 5 days and nobody has had any going-ons? I hope it's okay that I double-post.The Brawl tournament went better than expected! We placed higher than we did last time, at least. I don't know where, as the results haven't been posted yet. But I'd say it's hard to do worse than 5th out of 7.  We ended up losing against the top Diddy Kong in Arizona (DK Speed) and a really talented Snake (I think his alias was Baked). Then Kurtis entered Singles and lost against the top Pit user in AZ (KiraFlax). BUT after many friendlies, he was lauded by many of the folks there as possibly the best Yoshi user in AZ! He would just need to come back and prove himself in the next few tournaments. I didn't enter Singles due to lack of money and skill, but a couple folks including KiraFlax and the best Peach user in AZ (Silly Kyle) said they loved my Lucario and wished I would enter Singles! Maybe next time?

So like two days ago, one of my teeth fell out. It's a tooth implant, so it's fixable... but yeah, it's annoying. It's supposed to never come out. Also, today I had to talk to a counselor at my college today. Apparently someone reported me for breaking campus rules... which I did not. It's very annoying, but I should hopefully be able to convince the school of my innocence. My roommate is going in to talk to them on Wednesday, to vouch for me. Hopefully I can get this sorted out soon. In much happier news, I get my mission call this week. ^^ It should come to my house in Idaho on Thursday... so I'm going home on Saturday to open it.  |
