I don't think he's quite taking the mickey. Still, I must admit, without any source of income (ie, nothing going into the bank) it's difficult to pay a subscription. Also, getting cash into the bank is quite bothersome. I don't think I could be bothered to clean a few cars then go into town to fill in a form to pay cash in, just to play PSO for the month. Really, I'd wait until I had a steady income to do so. Right now, I have a steady income, but I'm not actually supposed to be using it to pay for online games, I must admit. However, I'm quite confident I'll get work in the next week or so. I've widened my horizons, so to speak.
I always have to have a good think before I jump into buying subscriptions, making decisions as to wether I'm 'secure' enough to do so.
I could clean a car or two to get the payment, or a few more cars to pay for more than one PSO subscription. Thats not where the effort goes. It's getting it into the bank thats the pain.
