Toshi was laid across the tree branch, he enjoyed the show, he really did, his eyes were half-open as his paw kept his head up, his legs swaying back and forth as they dangle below. He was beginning to tire out, his stomach stuffed with apples and other fruit. He looks at the crowd below, now starting to decrease in numbers as they all move away towards the night entertainment. His attention was soon brought to the unusually large silver moon, in which he tilted his head, caught in the beauty of its size, "Wow... it's huge tonight" he thought to himself.
He stayed in the tree for a bit longer until the crowd was scarce, in which he readied himself and jumped out of the tree, landing perfectly on his feet, Well, i guess i'll go check out the night time entertainment. He slowly walks back over towards the center of the festival...

Enrique sat about forty feet away from the stage as he watched the witnessed the corny humor and the horrible acting that was taking place. The humor didn't made Enrique laugh a lot, partly due to the fact that he was laying down on the ground for most of the show; he started to feel a little tired while the show was going on. Before he knew it, he woke up to the end of the show when most of the spectators had left.
After spending a few minutes reorientating himself while most of the crowd left, he looked up at the sky, and noticed that the moon was unusually larger than normal. He got back on his feet, and was about to leave the entertainment area when he noticed a green Yoshi trying to go backstage. This Yoshi donned familiar yellow spikes that Enrique thought he had seen before. In curiosity, he started to approached the stage, wondering where he may have seen those yellow spikes before.

How late was I? People are already leaving, and it's barely after sundown. Some little prankster had switched the "Yoshi village" and "Yoshi city" signs, and as I had tried to head towards the village, I ended up in the city... 3 miles later. In the city, I had gotten ahold of a map of the area and realized the trick only then. Though when the sun was sinking, the woods would become a threat, and I needed to stay on the path without taking any shortcuts. In short, I had to walk back the way I came and take the other way. By that time everything was already cleared up, people were leaving and the stage looked quiet. God dangit, this would have never happened if I flew. I looked down at the two iron hand-cuff-like things attached to my wrists. Deciding to forget what just happened and seek the most entertainment in these last few minutes, I walked through the village and finally reached the area where everything was happening.
The show would have taken place on a huge stage with the setting sun in the backround, and when the sunset, there would have been lights of all colors showing from behind it... but I had missed it. With a sigh, I took of my bag and lay on the grass looking at the moon. "If it isn't my luck... Teo, you're just incapable..." Oh well...
One thing did catch my attention though, the full moon. "Wow, it's really bright tonight, like if the sun was still up even. It's so magical that I almost feel my dragon form surging... but these dang cuffs keep me still. Bah, oh well... I'm sitting here with the best view of the moon from anywhere in the world. In fact, from here, it almost looks like it's closer. Yoshi's Island will continue to amaze me... Sigh..."
A long pause followed, losing myself in my daydream as the last of the crowd left, leaving me alone... or at least close. I started to feel uncomfortable and changed positions, changing to a sitting position, clasping my knees and facing the stage. "I wonder what could have happened there..." and the daydream continued, one of seeing a yoshi band up there, then a clown who told funny jokes, and then of someone sneaking backstage...
...Wait, sneaking backstage? That wasn't part of my daydream... someone just... "Aw crud, here we go again...and I'm in no position to defend myself except for natural yoshi abilities..." Which aren't all that bad. Gathering myself and my loaded bag, I ventured to the stage, wrapping myself in a curtain to stay out of sight and listening...

Concentrating on the show, Moot didn't even notice Twi offering him anything. Not like there was anything left now, anyway. (((this is my excuse for the lack of posts on my part D: ))) He was almost startled by the break in his concentration, and paused for a few seconds before replying. "You know, I have no idea what I'm doing here, really. I came originally for the Festival, but I have no idea what else there is on this Island at all. I figure I can always go sightseeing, or take a tour, or something. For the time being I'll stick around a while longer for the Festival to end."
Out of the corner of his eye Moot noticed a few people he'd seen earlier sneaking backstage. Turning to Twi and gesturing in the direction of the stage, he said "Somehow I doubt they're going back there for autographs... Unless of course the actors here have groupies? Can't really imagine that happening, though."
Thinking nothing of it, Moot leaned back a little in the chair he was sat on, and the second strange thing he noticed tonight was the moon, which seemed to be bigger then he remembered it. It wasn't often you could see the moon from his own island, often due to the atmospheric conditions surrounding it, or something. Nobody there really knew either. "So, uh, whats with that moon?"

I still couldn't see anything save for by the light of the moon, which seemed to be absent due to the roof over the backstage. I cautiously felt for a wall that I could lean against, but instead grabbed a curtain. I gently held onto it as I held my hand out for the wall I knew had to be near it. I suddenly glanced backwards; I thought I heard something. Nothing was there that I could see, but I knew when there was something near me. I took a step backwards slowly, remaining silent. Maybe they hadn't seen me? What I didn't know, of course, is that there was a stage prop behind me. I bumped into it, and it fell on top of me with a crash. I got smacked against the ground by the object and yelped in surprise and pain. I had almost forgotten to let go of the curtain, and dropped it as my arm hit the ground.

"Hmmm?..." Blood sat bolt upright upon hearing a loud crash coming from somewhere. Where? He wasn't sure. He squinted his eyes and glared at the spot of blackness behind the stage. There was nothing there, but Blood remained suspicious that something unplanned was happening. That feeling in the pit of his stomach, it just screamed for attention.
"Strangie... Can you hear that?" He said. "Maybe we should go see what's wrong over there, somebody could be getting hurt." Blood got up, and began walking past the dying crowd over to the side of the stage. "Come on, man. Let's go."
Blood stopped walking and started dashing towards the dark spot, curious to see what was wrong. When he was close enough, he slowed to a stop and yelled into the pitch blackness.
"Hello? Is there anybody screwing around in here?" Blood squinted to try and see into the darkness, but to no avail. This place was out of the moonlight's grasp.
"Hellooo?..."

As Enrique was approaching the stage, he heard a loud crash come from the general area in which he was approaching, possibly from the green Yoshi that he saw walk to that side of the stage. Any bit of drowsiness that he may have had left after his brief nap was erased, as he witnessed not only a loud crash behind the stage, but also a loud screech from that area as well. Frightened for the Yoshi who went backstage - as he thought that they have been trapped there, and possibly even injured - Enrique rushed to the scene to investigate and to make sure the trapped party was alright.
He arrived at an area of darkness just outside of the stage, where the red Yoshi that he observed sprinting toward the base of the hill earlier was also there. He wanted to see if the red Yoshi knew anything about the accident. "Excuse me, sir, but do you know what just happened here?"

Well,I sure was glad that stupid play was over. The Three Stooges usually made me laugh, but when it's acted out...Heck,it's terrible. It was also pretty hard to concentrate, due to the giant shining moon in-Giant shining moon?Jeez. That thing really was huge. While contemplating this thought,a faint screamed reached my ears(which don't really exist.) It sounded like that of a girl, though I didn't know who.Hope I didn't need a VIP pass,'cause I was headed backstage...But I didn't see anyone there...

Strangie was already up and at 'em when the crash sounded. "Yeah, sure," he replied to Blood as he quickly followed him to the dark spot. "Maybe it was just an unlucky stage hand or something..."
He peered around Blood, waiting for a response to his calls. "Can you see anything in there? It's too dark for me to see..."

Footsteps... someone is really back here... but why? Let's listen closely... Someone was coming closely, I could hear it well against the floor. In fact, the person was within smelling range, but before I could identify who or what, came the *CRASH!!* Ow... my ears... or at least I think they're my ears. The crash was followed by a yelp of pain, and the decision came up... To help or stay hidden? Help or hide. If I help, I could possibly question why this person is here. If I stay hidden and they're with someone else, I might over-hear them. So what do I do?
I made possibly the best choice, I looked before leaping, and pulled up the bottom part of the curtain to let moonlight in. The back stage was full of props it turned out, but that was to be expected. What I didn't expect was that one was toppled over with someone underneath. Using a yoshi's sense of smell, I could find that this was a yoshi, and also that there were yoshi's on the side entrance to the backstage, I was the only one in the curtain. Time to help this person out. Good, no thugs around, I was worried for a minute. Without losing a second, I recalled where the prop was and about what shape it was before letting the curtain go and blocking all light.
"I'm coming!" I let out as I came near, judging the distance I should travel before starting to feel for the prop. Maybe I should have opened the curtains to see? No time for that though, I finally reached what seemed to be the person and the prop and started heaving it, releaving a deal of weight off the trapped yoshi...

Jay looked over a small hill. "Hehe...wish they had that in Tokyo..." Jay turned around. He looked up to see a bright moon nearby. 'Man...I never saw the moon like this...it's awesome...' As soon as he turned, a loud crash was heard. "What in Ba...huh?" Jay's curiousity got the best of him. He ran to the stage and looked around. then he heard a few voices, coming from backstage. He looked around and called "Hey. Hey, what's going on here?" Jay was never too fond of looking into the darkness. It usually makes him nervous, after what happened last time...but he didn't want it want to get the best of him.

The short flash of moonlight revealed enough for him to get an idea of what was happening. Apparently an overly curious Yoshi just decided to waltz in somewhere where they couldn't see a thing and had no idea who or what was there. Blood rolled his eyes, it was nothing but an act of common foolishness. Another yoshi had already come to her aid, but he felt he should lend a hand anyway. Blood felt around for the object, using his tongue and arms to help the other yoshi lift it.
"Hnnn... What would compel you to walk straight into a wall of pitch black darness is beyond me. But let's get you out of here."

Boo couldn't help but laugh a little at the whole scene, mostly because he felt that he was involved somehow, and also because of the look on the green yoshi's face when the stage prop fell over. Still invisible, Boomeister watched as some of the people he had seen earlier appeared on the scene to see what the commotion was about.

"Sheesh, kids these days..." Strangie muttered to himself as he stepped next to Blood and carefully helped everyone lift the object off the unfortunate Yoshi, using his hands. He was a fairly strong guy, despite his looks, and having two others assist him shouldn't pose much of a problem.
"May I ask what exactly you were doing back here? You oughta be more careful..." he said to the Yoshi who was pinned underneath the prop.

My vision swam when I hit the ground, but almost instantly there were a good three people around me, lifting the object off of my back. I was then barraged with questions. "Thanks, guys. I, uh... heard a crash during the play, and came to see if I could find something that would explain it..." I mumbled, embarrassed. I could tell by some snickers and other people asking questions I had attracted somewhat of a crowd. That was not what I had intended... I stuggled to my feet carefully, since I didn't want to trip on anything else. I thought I had heard a familiar voice or two... No, it couldn't be.

Despite the fact that there were a good number of people in the area, there was enough moonlight shining on the Yoshi so that Enrique could see her. As he watched the green Yoshi struggled to try to get out of the area. The Yoshi seemed a little disoriented as she spoke, or maybe she was just embarrassed about her reasoning of going backstage. He tried to call out to the Yoshi, despite many in the area commenting on her presence. "Are you okay there? Are you any hurt?"
Meanwhile, he noticed that the Yoshi seemed familiar to him, in both the voice and her appearance. He wasn't exactly sure if she resembled exactly one of his friends or if she hadn't seen her before. However, the yellow spikes that he saw again did give him a suspicion; he wouldn't mention this, however.

Once the yoshi was back on her feet, Blood let go of the huge prop. He turned around to see a large crowd of spectators who apprently, found the whole incident amusing. Many were snickering and few were even full on cracking up at the young yoshi who had gotten herself stuck. Blood scowled.
"All right, you delinquents. It's all over, go find something else to do. Nothing to see here anymore." Blood made a sort of ''Go on, shoo" gesture with his hands and the crowd scattered off. Blood turned to the previously yoshi again. "And you, be more careful. Don't let curiousity take you wherever, whenever. You could get seriously injured, there's even a good chance you could get killed with all the crazy creatures on this island. That stage prop probably would've crushed your lungs after a bit. You're lucky someone was around."
Blood was obviously a bit frustrated, the tone in his voice made it evident. He scratched the back of his head. "Well, it's late, now. Everyone seems to be leaving this scene. I guess there isn't much to do except sleep."
Blood actually felt a bit restless after what had happened, but he would soon grow drowsy after everything died down...

Toshi wandered around the grounds to check out the night time entertainment, there wasn't much to do like every other year, however, he heard a call from one of the game stalls, "Excuse me, young blue sir?". On hearing this, he turns to see a red yoshi with a white cap on his head, holding a mallet, stood next to a large wooden pillar, "Uh, you talking to me?" Toshi replied, "Yes, you young sir, care to try this out?", he offers the mallet to Toshi, and points out the large wooden pillar, which had a bell on the top.
He immediately knew what game this was, "Oh wow, alright then!" He takes the mallet off the red yoshi and stands before the pillar, a pad situated before him where he would have to smack with the mallet. "Ok sir, 3 tries, hit the bell once, you win a prize!" Toshi gripped the mallet tightly, and swung, hitting the pad, the weight flies up to only half-way, a couple of spectators laughed, "Oh that was weak sir, try again", Toshi sighed, and tried again, only managed 1/4 this time, the audience laughed again, "What was that?!" the red yoshi laughed, "it's your last try now sir, unless you wanna give up now! Haha!" Toshi gripped the mallet tightly again, looking around at the crowd that was laughing at him. His eyes starting to water slightly, as though tears were about to run down his face, but he holds them back, gritting his teeth, shutting his eyes tightly, and with a loud yell, raises the mallet and smacks the pad with huge force, the weight sailing up and hitting the bell so hard, it smashes into pieces! The crowd grow silent with awe as the bell pieces fall onto them. Toshi grins "The green yoshi plush please, my good man!" he chuckles, "Eh... v-very well... sir" the red yoshi replies.
Toshi takes his prize, and heads out of the fairgrounds to call it a night, "Eh well, time for some sleep i guess..." He wanders back to his tree from earlier and lays underneath, gripping onto his prize, the tears now starting to run down his face as he slowly drifts off to sleep...

Someone had managed to open the curtain, and there was a whole crowd looking at the incident. Already, a Red yoshi with a black cap was shooing the audience, which was probably for the better. "Come on, you better take a rest, it is getting late after all," I said, directing my words toward the green yoshi and offering a hand. I couldn't help but add, "And don't worry, it could happen to anyone," Anyone who sneaks around at night...

Twi looked to Moot again, "The moon? Hell if I know, bloody big thought, might be normal in these parts." He looked back and saw a few other people going back round stage and heard a crash, but did nothing and seemed uninterested. A blue yoshi had shattered the bell on the hammer game. "Pfft, 3 trys?" Twi thought to himself, chuckling. There was little commotion happeneing and people had started to leave back to their hotel rooms. "Well then, Moot, it seems that I'd best be off to my hotel room for some sleep. Maybe I'll see you tomorrow." Twi stood up and looked at Moot, then turned swinging his Shoulder-cape over his claw again to make sure and walked off into the night, his eyes looked like they glowed in the dark.
