(Y'know, it' be really great if you guys would actually post.)
Gar nodded, holding the crystal shard curiously, "...Did one of your companions possess this?" he turned his head, looking down at the Yoshi that called himself Teo, and showing him the small blue crystal shard.

(It'd be great if the story moved a little faster so I had a reason to post something not redundant. D=)
Strangie was walking along, facing straight forward, hoping the village wasn't too far off. He was getting bored going at this snail's pace, and preferred to use his speed to get there faster. However, he knew that he might need to count on someone else if things went awry and getting stuck alone in a bad situation could prove unfortunate, at best. He pressed on, keeping an eye out for signs of the village or any sort of immediate danger.

I was almost glad that Strangie kept walking; this place was starting to get a little... eerie. You just didn't hang out in jungles all day like this; people would start to think you were a hermit or something. With a few extended strides, I caught up to Strangie, coming around his side so I could talk to him a bit more comfortably. "You know... after we get this whole thing sorted out, it's not like I'm going to be doing much after I finish my work. Do you mind if I... I don't know, hang out with you guys this week?" I didn't have anything better to do, and these guys weren't even from the island. I betted that they'd have all sorts of interesting things to talk about, and the week of the festival had hardly started.

"Eh?" Strangie glanced over at Yoshee, who had caught up to him for a chat. "Well, sure, I guess. I don't exactly know how big this problem is outside of what we already know, though... we'll have to see."
He sighed a little and looked on ahead. "Where the hell is that damn village? This has got to be the most monotanous walk ever." He gave a little one-two-three punch flurry at the air ahead of him, each swing flowing perfectly into the next, then finished it with a martial arts fighting pose, though his legs kept moving to walk. "I'm gettin' tired of this over here." He dropped his pose and looked over at Yoshee. "You anything of a fighter?" He asked her. He didn't expect a "Yes" answer, but he trained himself to fight on his own at a young age, so it wasn't entirely impossible for such an answer to be given. He decided that striking up some conversation would kill some time and make the trip less boring.

Gar had picked up something... it looked like a crystal, similar to his own.
"Hey wait, that kinda looks like the one I have," I started to say. I turned my head to the side, put my hand in front of my mouth, and quietly regurg'd my crystal, a key shape, similar in color and size to the new one. I put mine up to compare.
"Huh... that is strange, it looks almost like mine. A few of us got our hands on these crystals... I know little about them, but it seemed to have some healing effect on the group when they were sick. Don't ask me how I got it, I was sleeping when this thing landed on my nose." Turning around, ready to continue the journey, I swallowed the key again... discretely... and started walking. "Come on, we'll figure this out on the way. The village might need our help. And with two dragons in the house, I'm sure whatever comes up should be easily disposable," I said, grinning.

Twi remained at the back thinking to himself on his own, just walking along at the back with a face of constant anger. These dragons were getting on his nerves in the way they seemed so big headed. "Just becuase their dragons means their stonger than everyone else? Bloody big headed tossers" Twi thought to himself. There seemed to be a lot of convosation about and they were just walking in a straight line and had been for a while. Twi kept to himself as always and just continued walking.

I twiddled my thumbs a little as we marched. I did have a tongue seven and a half feet long, but I decided that would give me an unfair edge unless I needed it. "I do prefer when I have something like a bat to fight with, but I've been in a few fistfights," I informed Strangie. "Although I have trouble getting out of the way." It was true, for the most part; I couldn't counterattack for beans even when I did manage to dodge someone. Strangie's little finishing pose reminded me of some fights I had seen a while ago. They used their arms more than their legs and tail, unlike me. Martial arts, it was called? Hmm, I'll need to learn some of that. "You look like someone who's been in a lot of fights, that's for sure," I noticed.
