(I'll be taking voluntary control of Jay's character until he returns.)
Vicks looked about, and shook his head, "What a mess... ...OK, guys! We need to decide on somethin' here! Who wants to go investigate the crash... ...And who wants to save the village?" He pointed first towards the moon, then up-river.

"I'll investigate the crash" said Twi.
The crash was far more important to Twi than saving people, supernatural crashes usually had something good at the end, and Twi also though Vicks would go save the village, so if Twi found something, he wouldn't have much to face up to. Strangie was another one who could cause him trouble, and Strangie seemed to already have problems with Twi. Moot was the only person Twi really could talk to, as he was the only person Twi has formally met. The crash was the more tactical move, but getting the others to befriend him would be more difficult.

Toshi tutted at Twi, shaking his head as he turns to Vicks, "Well i'm all for saving the village" his priorities seemed reasonable to himself, save the people now, deal with the crash later, even though so many things were happening all at once, he was pretty much concentrating on saving the village rather than investigating the crash, which doesn't seem to be a great threat now it's stopped in the earth...

"I'll assist in the attempt to spare the village of an enormous tragedy," Enrique volunteered. Hel felt that this would be more of a challenge than to find the likely reason of the collision of the moon; he already had an idea of what would have caused the collision, not to mention that he was always looking for a challenge. He once again gazed at the river of purple hue, then glanced in the direction of upstream, sighing as he continued to puzzle himself trying to figure out how this poisoning could have happened. It didn't really matter; all that mattered was to purify the stream; yet, he couldn't resist but to wonder.

"Heh," Strangie thought to himself, watching Twi for a moment as he walked towards the wreckage. "That panned out pretty well. Now Claw Boy won't end up terrorizing the village people with that monstrosity of his."
"Well, I think I'm gonna continue heading upstream for the village people," Strangie said. "Maybe there's an answer to all this in that moon, but there's no way to know for sure unless someone looks, so at least a few people should stick around..." He started moving up the river again, checking behind him to see who's following.

I felt torn between the two choices. I think I should help save the village, since I know how it feels to be sick like that, but so many people are already heading that way, and the purple one- Twi, was it?- is going all by himself. That can't be safe, no matter how tough you are. And, it sounds far more... adventurous, I reasoned with myself. "I'll help check out that crash," I said almost involuntarily, taking a step towards Twi.

Blood hadn't said a single word in a few hours, nor had he been paying any attention to what the group was doing and saying. The one thing that did catch his attention was the massive moon that had smashed right into the island. Out of curiousity and a bit of fear, he grabbed his spear dashed toward the area where he saw the moon fall. Before he was too far off, Blood looked back at the group he had traveled with. They were discussing something, at least that's how it looked from his point of view. Blood spoke, thinking it would be rude to take off toward the crash site without saying anything.
"Hey, guys! I'm gonna go see what happened at the crash site!" Blood, yelled loud enough for them to hear, then turned and started to run.

"Oi! Red guy! Stop you impatient bastard!"
Twi's shouts after Blood seemed to be in vain, and Twi wasn't in the mood for running after him. It seemed most people were going to the village, only Yoshee had decided to come with Twi. Twi looked at Yoshee and thought it'd be easy to defeat her if neccessary. Strangie seemed still suspicious of Twi, but he was going to the Village, which seemed ok to Twi.
Twi waited to see if anyone else will come

Wow, uh... crash site, or help with the village? Which to choose? I'm powerless, so if I meet anything supernatural, I'm dead. So I think I'll stick with the village. I thought that since I was near-powerless, it would be safer at the village. I opened my mouth to say something, when I heard, "I'll help check out that crash." A spark flew in my brain and changed what I said, changing my words to, "I'ma gonna see what's going on with the giant moon. See ya later peeps."
What?? Are you crazy Teo?? A MOON fell down, you've survived the moon, and now you're risking your neck again? Aw come on you wet chicken, how bad can it be? Might even be fun... I started to stumble towards the large moon at a jog, wondering what in my right mind had made me make this choice...

As he looked around at the small crowd, Enrique noticed that a lot of the people were electing to investigate the moon crash. In fact, he only counted three - the human, the dark blue Yoshi, and himself - that volunteered to find a way to stop the epidemic in the village. Enrique himself once considered investigating the crash; however, with more thought, he knew that it was not as much of a challenge as the other option. It also seemed as if individual effort was not quite as necessary with the moon crash issue than the poisoned water issue.
Noticing that the human was heading upstream again, Enrique followed behind the human, an intermediate distance away. "Wait for me!" Enrique called. He was starting to become eager to save the village, not just to look for a challenge.

I noticed Teo had volunteered to check out the crash site as well. That made four of us, which seemed like a good enough search party. I dashed after Blood, passing Twi, but not catching up to Blood. "Hey, I'm coming along, too!" I called after him, stepping too carefully to go at full speed. I didn't want to trip, especially in front of people older than I was. I would prove I could be just as good as the rest of them, even though they were all older and mostly bigger than I was. I could do it, too. I would show them...

Vicks sighed at his new allies' eagerness, "Ya're gonna get yerselves killed! Just...try to come back alive, 'kay?!" and beckoned to Jay, who followed as he jogged to catch up to Strangie, and then walked with him, the crash site was a good few minutes walk away from where they were, but then again, so was the river source, "Man, I didn't wanna split up the party...what if those dingbats get lost?"

"I heard that, Vicks, and I'm not a f***ing dingbat, I'll sort these people out". Twi was getting increasingly angry at Vicks, almost to point he wanted to rip out his eyes and eat them, but he resisted the urge and followed to others to the crash site.
Yoshee seemed to be running slowly, and at Twi's speed he had caught up to her very quickly. "Hurry up or I'll carry you there, now isn't the time to dawdle.." He walked with Yoshee for a bit to see if she'd speed up, but his walking pace was the same at her pace at the time. Teo had already gone, but he didn't care much anymore about him.

"I think they'll be fine," Strangie said to Vicks. "And they can't get lost. All they have to do is find the river and follow it to find us again, right? Once we see what we can do about the village, then we can head right back to the moon and begin work on whatever it was that our second team found. So I think it'll work out in the end," Strangie finished.
He was pretty sure that, with the river as a guide, only a moron wouldn't be able to catch up to Strangie and his current crew again. His current crew seemed to consist of Vicks, Jay, and Enrique for the time being (don't think I missed anybody >_>). He wasn't entirely sure how capable, physically or mentally, everyone he has been travelling with is, but he was hoping to find out eventually.

Trailing the human (sorry, technically, "Strangie" isn't a familiar name with Enrique yet), along with Vicks - who had quickly caught up with him and had discussed something that Enrique couldn't figure out and didn't care to know - by approximately seven feet still, Enrique jogged to catch up the two a little bit until he still trailed by only two feet or so. He didn't want to get too ambitious; he hadn't been in a situation like this before. Deciding to let Vicks and the human handle the better majority of the decision making in this mission, Enrique allowed himself to simply follow the river's upstream direction, awaiting for any orders or signs of interest in the river.
Gazing at the river once again, he noticed that the hue of the water was getting slightly deeper and darker as he moved upstream. He wasn't sure at this moment what this may have meant, but he had a gut feeling that this fact may be significant to the nature of the poison, whatever it may be.

I heard Twi's comment and hurried my pace. Come on, I can do better than this, I told myself. I still couldn't keep my eyes off the ground, making my best effort not to trip or stumble on the irregular ground like I normally did. Twi stayed with me at my walking pace, and I was pretty sure he could easily leave me behind if he wanted to, as he was taking longer strides walking than I was jogging. I was intensely curious about the nature of that moon. Something about it made me shiver, but I didn't know what quite yet. Maybe it was just the fact that it confused everything I knew about physics and our moon... I could almost literally smell something fishy, this reeked so bad.

"Wow, that thing's big... did I say small?" The moon may have not been a quarter of the Earth, but it was BIG! And I wasn't even there yet! I just kept coming closer... and closer... and closer... and then it happened.
"OOOF!!" was the last sound I made before tripping over a tree branch and landing face first in a fresh mud puddle. This is... embarrassing... I just hope no one saw that... OOOF!! Twi had just ran over my back in the mud without seeing me, plowing me deeper in the mud. That dirty little son of a gun was about to step in the mud... and instead he stepped on me by a one in a hundred chance and kept walking... I felt myself starting to judge Twi very early, before even knowing him, and getting a feeling of distaste towards him. I was slowly starting to get up, seeing him rush off into the thick growth, leaving me looking like a swamp monster. I still had my crystal on me... I had eaten it to use later so it would be safe... but that didn't help me being covered in mud. I slowly got up, covered, smelly, and sticky, ready to make the rest of the journey...

Blood did not bother to slow down for Twi and Yoshee. He figured they would get there eventually anyway. Besides that, he enjoyed running, and was eager to see what had taken place at the crash site. He could see the top half of the giant rock rising over the canopy of the jungle. A smoldering wreckage, with thick smoke oozing from the area. The large moon grew nearer as he ran, until he could make smell the charred grass just a few feet away.
Blood pushed aside some vegetation to reveal the clearing the moon had created. There were fallen trees, blackened grass, and a horrid smell to the place. Most importantly, though, a perfect dome of white rock sticking out from the ground. It was nowhere near as big as he thought it would be. It was big, but not that big. Definately not the size of your standard moon.
Other than this, there wasn't much else. Blood was perplexed. It was beyond everything he had seen on the island.
And he thought he had seen everything.

Twi purposly walked over Teo as he fell in the mud whilst Yoshee was jogging along side. Twi couldn't care less is people didn't like him, Twi didn't like anyone. Try not to fall over you idiot. He thought as he walked over Teo pushing him into the mud.
Yoshee was still going too slow, by now Blood would have been there. "Right, you're going to slow!" Twi picked up Yoshee in a fireman's lift over his shoulder and sprinted at full pelt, leaping over tree roots and rocks and the likes. He'd be at the moon in no time.

Toshi was beside his village group, following closely, it was like they didn't even notice him there... so he kept a small distance behind them, rubbing his arm, beginning to go back to his previous feeling before all this had started, of being that lone, single yoshi with nobody to really claim as a friend to him. Still, that was something he did not care about right now, it was the village people that was on his mind...
