Toshi followed close behind, eyeing the water as he walks beside it, seeing his reflection upon the purple glow of the river. "Wow... that sure doesn't look nice to jump into right now..." he turned to the group, his legs were beginning to tire out, but he knew that asking for a rest would not be of anyones best interest right now, considering the urgency of our objective...
He had his fists clenched too, prepared for anything that may come to threaten their advance...

(Agglpth! Sorry guys.)
Vicks turned his head to the lagging group, "What're you guys stop--" he looked up at the moon, and his eyes grew wide...it was visibly closing in on the Island too, headed for the middle of the jungle, "It's...It's gonna crash into us!!!"

"Yeah, I think that was fairly obvious!" Strangie said, arms flailing. "We can't stop a friggin' moon! Not like things aren't bad enough as it is. What're we supposed to do?" He said, stepping backwards and away from the moon. Apparently, it seemed like trying to escape something of this size was futile...

Several nearby panicking individuals caught the attention of Enrique. It was all too obvious what they were panicking about as well; the moon was on a high-speed collision course with the Earth, and had steered itself in the general direction of the group in which Enrique was venturing. For a brief moment, Enrique had turned speechless and puzzled; the only way that this phonemonon could have happened was if some large astronomical figure had smashed into the moon, disrupting its orbit, and allowing it to race toward the planet.
"Be prepared to become part of a very large shock absorber," Enrique called out. It was easily possible that this could be the last thing that Enrique ever says.

The moon was too big to be an eclipse! It was blotting out the whole sky! I cringed, the fact that I could die momentarily just starting to click in my mind. "What should we do?" I turned to Vicks. "Like, cover our heads or something? Keep running?" I had no idea what to do; I supposed with a scowl it didn't matter whether I died standing up or cowering beneath a tree, but it would still be nice to know what to do.

What in the world... The moon... it would crash on us any second... and not a chance that it would burn up in the atmosphere. At this very moment, my mind started to spread, as it does in certain periods of time, reaching into deep thoughts all around. Our death would not change the world, no one would notice unless we accomplished something noticeable. What noticeable things have I accomplished? I've saved the island a few times, but I've received little recognition. People see hybrid yoshi's like me every day, the moon would be a catastrophy, but my missing would go unnoticed. What would the moon do after it hit the Earth? It was said long ago the moon was part of the Earth, so maybe over millions of years it'll fuse and increase gravity. Will the moon rock the Earth from its orbit? Everyone will die then. My death is soon... what would I have loved to say or do most before my death... I looked around. What could I do or say before death? There was no use panicking in such a situation.
But wait, that was what I wanted to do before deaths... go down with a fight. Now how would I do so? I had confronted big things, but the moon? I looked down at my crystal key, and it starred at me with its loop of an eye. Little key, we have just met, but it is soon time for our farewell. I hope whoever finds you can do something, something to stop this. I gripped it tight for what seemed the last time. I was a semi-good leader, but with no goal ahead of me, I could do nothing. To be so powerless... I'd completed my vows and promises... but what if I resorted to superstition to save me? Rediculous as it seems, I made a soft vow to myself, one I could never complete at this very time, begging I would be turned into a ghost of sort to haunt this land. Would it work? I was partially superstitious, what with the dragon and magic and all, but ghosts? I looked at the moon, doom slowly coming in...

"Hey I got an idea! Instead of staring at the crashing moon, lets continue towards stopping it. I don't think a purple river and a crash moon are coincidences, so lets go!"
Twi started walking in the direction they were heading, not caring about the moon, but just following the river that they were following, hoping to find what has caused the moon to stop.

Vicks watched in horror as the moon simply picked up speed...but, contrary to Enrique's prediction, it was on a slightly different course, aimed towards the middle of the jungle, not going to smash the group, nevertheless, the Yoshi ducked, pulling something from his backpack, and covering his head...he was wearing an orange Koopa Troopa shell? What in the hell? Of course, no one would have enough time to question it, as the moon slammed down, crushing trees, shaking the ground something awful...but, oddly, not creating as much damage was was predicted, in fact, it seemed much smaller than it did just a few moments ago, it seemed to have crash-landed off to their right.

Enrique was briefly afraid that this would be the end of him. In fear, he covered his eyes; whatever was going to happen, he didn't want to know about it. Within a short moment, he felt a large crash and a seismic-like sensation. However, to Enrique's surprise, the additional heat caused from the movement of the celestial body was minimal, and additional pressure was not felt; it seemed as if the moon had missed the group while crashing.
However, it did allow Enrique to be tossed around a bit. As he fell to the ground, his glasses slid off his face, but did not travel very far; they were still within Enrique's reach. He opened his eyes to a blur of gray and green, as Enrique was nearsighted. He reached around for his glasses; they were within the reach of his right hand. Luckily, they had not bent upon contact to the ground. Enrique quickly placed them on his face to see a cloud of gray dust, broken tree trunks, and a large gray sphere. This sight left him speechless in awe and wonder.

Strangie jumped back, away from the moon, just as it hit the ground. The ground shook, but he was able to avoid most of the quake since he was airborne, turning and rolling forward as he hit the floor to absorb the shock. He kept his balance, and managed to stay on his feet.
After the whole thing was over, he turned back around to face the moon that had crashed. Something very strange was going on, and he wasn't sure what it was, nor did it seem anybody else did either. Poisoned water, falling moons, does any of this actually make any sense? He shoved these questions to the back of his mind for now and stood up straight, readjusting his visor as he looked on at the moon.

((Hey, you guys know I'm grounded right? Well, logging on the computer at school or home is a little tough, so, I'm allowing someone to use my character, if possible. I hope that's OK with you guys. I should be back within a month.))

Toshi kept himself on his feet, putting up an arm to shield himself from any debris that had rocketed from the impact, slowly dropping it once the moon had stopped crushing into the ground. He stared at the moon, no expression upon his face as he looked at it, before lifting an eyelid up in confusion and turning to the party, "Ok... what the hell is going on here?"

"Well, that was interesting. I can't imagine that happened the last time this place got poisoned..." Moot didn't even feel any impact, considering he was always a couple of feet or so above the ground. He kept a small laugh to himself as he saw the others shaken around by the Moon ploughing into the ground.
"So... I'm guessing our next course of action here is to see exactly why an entire moon, or whatever this is just crashed onto your island here. Its not often things like this just drop out of the sky for no good reason..." Wanting to take a closer look, Moot edged nearer to the moon looking for anything to indicate why it was here. Naturally, a cursory glance offered no more information then they already knew - that a moon had almost dropped straight on top of them.

Vicks stood up out of the shell, still wearing it, he must look silly, an orange Yoshi wearing an orange Koopa Troopa shell, but there he was. "...Eh? Everyone's alright, right?" he looked off to the right, where the moon had ploughed into the jungle, then to Moot, "...I dunno, mebbe we should do somethin' 'bout the poison, though there's little doubt the two events are connected..."

"I'm fine. Perhaps," Strangie started to Vicks, "The moon has the answer to this poison problem. Maybe we should split up? One group keeps going where we were originally headed and the other checks for clues on this moon thing. Of course, if you had any other suggestions..." he trailed off, shrugging. "I suggest we take a course of action quickly, though."

At the impact, Twi remained rather still, the shock not moving him much as he held his ground.
"Well...plan of action, anyone?"
Twi looked around, most people had stay on their feet, but a number had fallen over. He looked at Moot, who was lucky to be 2 feet above the ground. He stood there, staring at the area the moon had crashed.

Enrique gazed at the fallen celestial body for a moment before he heard Vicks shout to everyone's attention. Straightening out the positioning of his eyeglasses on his face, he crawled his way back on his feet and quickly brushed himself off. "Yeah, I'm alright, Vicks," he replied to the orange Yoshi.
The entire group seemed to be in a state of confusion about the purpose of the moon crashing on the island. However, the issue that was the most confusing was a possible correlation between the moon's crash and the poisoning of the island's water supply. In the mind of Enrique - apparently, the same with Vicks - there was no logical connection.
Enrique overheard the human-figure suggesting a plan that would help solve both mysteries at once to Vicks. He felt that it was a fine enough idea in order to efficiently put some sense back into the recent events. However, at this point, he didn't really care what the group decided to do, as long as something was attempted to be accomplished.

I fell backwards onto my tail as the moon thing crashed into the jungle, making the very ground seem to quake below me. I quickly scrambled up, feeling slightly embarrassed that I had thought we were going to die. "That thing couldn't have been the real moon. It's a fourth of the size of the planet!" I practically exclaimed, then shut my mouth. Was I supposed to talk? Would it be too much of stating the obvious? I noticed that Vicks was wearing a Koopa shell as protection, but gave it little thought after wondering why for but a second. What seemed to be the real problem was the fact that A.) The water was poisoned, and B.) Something that looked like the moon had just crashed into the jungle. An idea flitted through my mind, but I decided not to say anything more. Were they staring at me for that previous comment, or was it just my imagination? ... And why did I suddenly care so much?

Toshi wiped off the debris that had settled on his shoulders "Hmm... it's strange tho... shouldn't the moon be bigger than this? Or is our home planet smaller than i thought?" Toshi had a lot of questions on his mind, why would the moon just suddenly crash into the planet? Why is the water all purple? Is there something we don't know about? Whatever it was, he was starting to get paranoid about this... even the thought that Vicks was wearing a Koopa Shell made him curious about him... why the hell is he wearing that? He never thought much of it, after all, the moon did just crash into the earth and he doubted the impact on them would've been soft...

All of a sudden, the sky had fallen and crashed into the ground, perhaps only a few miles off, causing a giant shake. The vibrations were enough to make me take a two leg-one hand stance. I closed my eyes, and for the first time in a long time, feeling as if I snapped out of a dream, and that this danger was real. As I opened them, the world seemed a bit clearer, but I was not dead. My mind started to lose clarity, as I felt myself coming back into my personality, my body, my reality. Everything felt as before, except a giant rock was protruding out of the jungle. Was this the moon? It seemed so small... "If that's a quarter of Earth's size, then this really IS a small world!" I proclaimed, trying to set the mood to a more elevated tone.
"Well this looks like one big unusual, supernatural problem. Shall we get going... team?"
