Hrmmm... Ack...aaah... "WOAH!!" My dream had ended as brutally as I woke up... brutally. "I hate falling dreams, they should be banned." I had been getting this kind of dream ever since I lost my abilities, and it wasn't easy to cope with these every other night. Looking around, I seemed to have made camp just near the outskirts of the woods, the only protection my sleeping bag, which wasn't good against rain. I need a tent... or a bath... heck, both could do. I wonder if...
*blurp... HACK!* The completely gross sound of something being regurgitated came up, but thank heavens that it wasn't puke. I had hacked up a small wallet, and inside it was a zipper pocket with a few small coins and a button in it. The wallet was probably worth more than the coins. "Course... usually, I could use my silver scales to argue a deal over a meal or purchase. I never bothered to get real money. Down the hatch!" On that note, the wallet went back in the bowels of my stomach. If that goes down the wrong pipe, it'll get digested... don't want that to happen.
The usual procedure ensued, rolling up the sleeping bag and setting it in the bag to keep it safe, then storing it in the backpack along with the frying pan, the matches, and a few other trinkets and small things. "Wonder what's happening in town? Well, no use staying here. TO VICTORY!"
Victory wasn't waiting for me, that's for sure. You could hear a screaming yoshi fifty feet away complaining he had bad stomach aches. I let out a snort of laughter and mocked him to myself, but curiousity did intrigue me. The screams drew me to some sort of odd hotel. In fact, there didn't even seem any place to house anyone, seemed mostly like the rooms were out of the hotel itself. (Recall someone saying the hotel reception was in a tent..?) The screaming could be heard coming from there, and as the curiousity bug bit me again, I kept going towards the screaming, to the point where I could hear the words "POISONED FOOD and WATER and TEAM." Ah, that must be the food from yesterday. Well good thing I didn't eat any... did I eat anything? Urk, I just remembered I was hungry. Oh well, let's see what screamy-head wants. TO VICTORY!

Twi looked around at the gathering and saw Moot again, he knew he'd come along, he seemed unaffected. "I offered him some fruit, maybe he knows something" Twi thought to himself. If it's all over by noon it can't be bad, though 3 days to live? Twi once again looked at Moot with a glare from his pupil-less eyes and stared suspiciously at him, he was going to keep an eye on Moot, the only person he's met and the person he know doesn't trust.

Blood was no longer clutching his stomach for the time being, he had found temporary relief from the pain, and was still leaning against the door. Blood was still facing outside into the village, he noticed a yoshi walking straight towards him (Teo), and stood upright. He examined Teo from bottom to top as he came closer, noting his heavy looking bracelets, which looked like they served for no other purpose than to weigh him down. He raised an eyebrow sarcastically, then spoke to Teo.
"Well, I wish I could say it was nice to meet you, but the half of us are going to be dead in three days. Which probably means you, too. Hey there, anyway." Blood stopped talking and turned his head away from Teo after that. He really didn't feel like explaining the whole situation, and he assumed somebody else would do it for him once this newcomer asked enough questions.
Blood took a quick attendance in his head. There was himself, Strangie, some strange, very short cat creature who floated above the ground, a human named Jay, the youngster who had gotten herself stuck the previous night, the odd pupiless black yoshi, and this equally as weird newcomer with the huge weights on his arms, and of course, Vicks had yet to return. Despite the grim situation, Blood chuckled to himself, what a strange group they would make, indeed.
Once Vicks returned, they could continue.

"Hmph... well, we'll be waiting, then. Don't be too long," Strangie said to Vicks as he went out. He then turned to everyone else.
"This sucks. How the crap does stupid stuff like this manage to happen? Some vacation this turned out to be..." Regardless, Strangie remained patient, knowing he still had time to fix the problem at hand. But after he did, he figured he ought to have a word with whoever the crap put this event together and somehow skipped over the fact that an entire batch of fruit was covered in deadly poison.

Vicks noticed Teo as he was walking out of the tent, and gave him a look before dashing off.
Within minutes, he was back inside the tent, carrying a backpack, "OK, I brought fresh food, no fruit, and...my own equipment. Shall we go? We need to find it as soon as possible. I brought a compass, map, and a small first aid kit, too, so unless you guys have something you wanna bring, we really should be off."

Jay let out a sigh. "I know what you mean, this may have been my last vacation, poisoned or not. I have to go to some forest full of vicious Dragons, and face off against this giant Dragon with this..." Jay showed part of his katana in the sheath. "Said it was some legend that I'll gain something special by beating it or whatever...."
Jay turned around, looking around the lobby. "But I can't be worried about it yet. I'll make it. Can't wait to get going." Jay walked away from the group and walked to a nearby wall, sitting down on the floor leaning against it.

"I'm ready whenever." Twi said making sure his cape was still covering his claw. "Whereever we're going, I'm coming along, but first I need to head back to my room" Twi eyed Moot again, still wairy about him, not sure whether or not to trust him. He cautiously walks towards his room, passing Moot on the way, he whispers in his ear "I'm watching you.." and continues to his room.

Vicks looked at the retreating Twi, and Jay sitting down, and stomped the ground, "Yo!!! Haven't you all been listenin'? Get your stuff together, and let's go already!" he didn't seem too happy about being ignored, "What's this, a field trip? You!" he shouted to Twi, "C'mon, if you're coming!" and with that he pivoted on one foot, and stepped out of the tent's flaps again.
Someone seemed agitated.

Twi stopped immediately and turned fast around and glared at Vicks angryly. "Shut the **** up, you said get ready, where the **** do you think I'm going? I'm not like I'm going to get my ****ing camera for the journey, just shut up and stop being an impatient idiot! We're all ill and feeling like ****! I don't think you understand how BAD this affects someone, so just calm the **** down and wait for people to get their strength back!" He shouted. He clenched his fist, almost looking ready to punch him, throw him, or worse. But resisted and continued to his room.

Vicks just stood there, and shook his head, waiting until Twi entered his room to continue, "A camera... ...I don't need to take this. Any of you who wish to LIVE will do best to follow me right now." and with that he whirled, storming out of the tentflap right away, leaving the rest of you right in the dust!
The pink receptionist Yoshi seems horrified for a moment, "SUch language...", she then shakes her head, "You'd better follow him. Once he gets something in his head, he sticks to it. He won't be coming back for you all. And he can't go alone... Oh Vicks..," she sighed, shaking her head, she probably liked him.

Enrique was alarmed when he heard that he would have three days to live if he didn't find a cure for the poisoning. He initially felt sad; his dreams of meteorology and calculus would soon become wasted. He wanted to cry, but he realized that Vicks wasn't going to wait, and he would never have the chance to get better unless he made an honest attempt to find a cure; even if he did die, he would have died trying. With an optimistic thought that he would make it to cure himself, he marched on after Vicks; his shirts in his room can be retrieved later, or even can be replaced.
"Wait for me!" Enrique called to Vicks. He must have looked like a drunk while he was walking; the dizziness and the headache that he was suffering threw off his balance a little bit. However, he was determined to find the cure on this journey, and he was not going to let some wacked out fruit stop him.

Blood was the first to notice me, and at that, it seemed my presence aggrivated him. That or he was already aggrivated, if I had listened more intently and wasn't daydreaming about how loud a yoshi could scream the word poison, I probably would have payed more attention to the Red Yoshi. I did hear something about three days to live though, and realized there really was a poison involved. Well good thing it's three days, we aren't in any hurry. Unless this poison is unique.
Uh-oh, what's this? I hear a potty mouth, and apparently it's something to do with whether to depart or not. Departure? Field trip in a high shouting voice? I think something's going on. Uh oh, here comes someone! Vick seemed to rush past me with an angry expression, probably angry that he might die. I turned to the others, I understood now they were looking for a cure to the poison. The shouting out about it made it obvious. Waiting until everything silenced, I took a step in through the door, and said as cooly and casually as possible...
"Hey, can I come?"

Toshi was still asleep, his body shaking as he suffers his nightmare. The nightmare was of himself being abused by 2 adult yoshies... was this an image of his past life? Regardless, he awakens with a loud yell, hyper-ventilating and looking all around, his body breaking a cold sweat. His breathing calms down as he realises he has awoken from the nightmare, holding his head as it aches. He tries to stand up on both feet, using the tree he slept beside to upright himself, "Ugh... wha... what was all that about?" He steadies himself, waddling over to the nearby river, kneeling down to see his reflection, his eyes seemed red, he didn't look so well, even though his body seemed ok, "Wow... was it the fruit i ate last night?". He cups his hands into the river water and splashes the cold water onto his face, rubbing it in, as he stands back up. He walks back over to the tree, where he began to hear commotion coming from the tent, "... what the heck is going on?"

Blood dashed off after Vicks, despite the sickness, he could still run like none other.

Toshi's eyes throbbed in pain, his eyesight weakening from the constant pain. He heads on over to the tent, his curiosity getting the better of him, desperate to know what was going on. He barely could see an orange figure ahead in front of the tent, he approached the figure, and began to speak, "Erm, excuse me? Do you know what's going on?" he spoke shyly...

Vicks turned his head to see Toshi, and sighed, "You too..? The whole village's been poisoned. Tainted water and tainted fruit... Me and some companions are heading out to get some of the crystal that can purify the water. Clean water rids this kind of poison easily. I assume you're coming along?... You look like you've got it really bad, you'll be lucky if you survive the day."

"P-poisoned water and fruit?" Toshi stepped back in shock, "Oh geez! How did that happen?! Who did it?! What caused it?!" He had so many sudden questions that he wanted to ask, but it seemed like there was no time for them, he listened to what the Yoshi had to say, and agreed to join him, "Count me in, i... i want to protect my own home..."

Strangie had been keeping up with Vicks the whole time, silently. He noticed that this whole thing was starting to get on the nerves of everybody, so he decided it'd be best to keep quiet. The poison hadn't deabilitated him - yet - but it was certainly an annoyance. Still, five days should be enough for him, but it might not be enough for everyone else.....

Twi returned from his room wnad it seemed Vicks and a few people had left. "Hmph, they can;t have gotten far.." He continued out the Hotel and saw a few yoshis in the distance, at least a blue yoshi and Vicks, he ran up to them, hoping to be able to catch up with them to continue.
