"Vehementa returns with good news, sire. An alliance with Syllvace has been made which means our plans can now go ahead. Also with this new alliance with the lands of Alressor it can be made easier."
"Good, then train 2 more troops and buy 1 more food and send them to area 39. Send 4 of those with 2 food from 39 to 16 and continue the march westwards."
"As you wish, sire." Locusq left the room and Twi paced around. Things were running very smoothly now and he could now continue west and then north to take most the north seemingly uncontested. He looked at the newly updated map and saw that Lawilia has started to come up and might have to contest Syllvace for area 30. He called for Locusq to enter the war-room.
"Locusq, new plan. Keep the newly trained troops here in the capital along with 1 food. Send 3 troops on to section 16 along with one food. It may seem that we'll have to help our allies soon."
"Very good, sire." Locusq left once more. Twi sat down and started to dismantle his rifle.
"I may have to fight" he thought to himself.

Lawilia is coming up north to section 30 which our allies Syllvace also need. Unless Lawila takes the south and fights Saphoria although I don't think that's what Lawilia's lord wants. However I will still be careful. Our march north west is going without incident and I recieve word that Mantasthia has attacked Cassapia so early on which means they'll be kept occupied and weakened. I will go unchallenged.
The troops' mutations are not due to the cold gruel and so I never did fix that oven. Nevermind.

"Oh man, oh man..."
Strangie was running through the castle halls with a clipboard in his hands. He looked worried. The first person of any importance he found was Louis, and thus he showed him the clipboard. "Look! Syllvace is coming up around the other side of Xenerex. Both Syllvace and Lawilia are going to end up converging at this point here," he continued, looking at a map and pointing at section 30. "It seems war is going to be inevitable..."
"Hmm..." Louis looked over the map. "Nobody's hardly even bothered to talk with us yet, besides Saphoria. I guess there goes any chance with an alliance from Syllvace... and who knows what Xenerex might do once a conflict happens? There's also Alressor to the north, but I think Xenerex might be looking to cut them off. This looks very serious..."
Suddenly, the clipboard was snatched from Strangie's hand from behind.
"Hey! Strangie said, whirling around. "Why don't you pick on someone your own si-!!!" It was Law. "Oh! Gah! I didn't know it was you..."
"Nevermind that. We're going to have to put as many resources into our forces as possible, if our campaign for expansion is to succeed at all." He studied the map carefully for a few moments, narrowing his eyes. "... we may be looking at a war here, very soon." He sighed, looking up at his friends and letting his hands fall to his sides.
"Needless conflict. However, what must be done, shall be done. Make sure that we have enough forces in the region we shall take next..." With that, he handed the clipboard to Strangie, and simply walked off.
"Huh? Hey!" Strangie called out. "What're we planning for after that?"
No reply.
Strangie and Louis sorta just stood there, glancing at each other. "What was that all about?"

Yoshiken stood on one of the newly built outposts with his brother and military advisor, Dante. Dante stared into the horizon, "so hows lady Anjil?"
Yoshiken raised an eyebrow, "I don't know, probably out in the market purchasing some manner of apparel. So...any reports about our neighbors."
Dante gave a sharp glare to Yoshiken, "yes, a very serious one in fact. It seems that our neighbor in the south, Lawilia, is desiring to advance to the mid-western plains (region 30)."
Yoshiken cut him off, "yes, Ivan informed me and I had him reply with a letter. I really hope that we can peacefully work out an agreement, but I fear the worse."
Dante gave a reassuring smile to Yoshiken, "relax, we have Xenerex aiding us from all corners. With them backing us up, we should not worry about any upcoming battles."
Yoshiken released a small grin, "I know, its just bloodshed is something I wish to avoid."
Dante turned his head to look inside the walls, "yes, but the destiny of the individuals in the military is to die for their country. They will protect this country that they love at all costs."
Yoshiken looked up and noticed a large rain cloud advancing from the west. "That is strange, There shouldn't be any clouds in the sky at this time...I wonder..." Yoshiken quickly ran down the stairs to the base of the outpost, and faded into the city, leaving Dante alone in the outpost.
Dante stared at the cloud and whispered to himself, "yes brother, your instincts are correct, that cloud can only be an omen."

"Ugh... I really shouldn't have volenteered for that double shift..." the drowzy dark blue yoshi stated, keeping watch of the throne room door, or at least, attempting to. Looking around, noticing that no one was about, he placed his halberd to his side, leaning against the shaft. Not too long later, he was already starting to doze off.
"YOU! WHAT KIND OF GUARD SLEEPS ON THE JOB?!" a yell woke him up, startling the saddle out of him, blinking at the voice's origin before regaining a bit of his composure.
"Ge--General! I umm.."
"Yeah yeah, meet me at the barracks after you shift, we'll have a small chat." Maldorir inches closer, leaning in, letting off an intimidating voice, "And don't you dare be late."
"Y-Yes s-sir.."
"Good. Now lemme in!"
The throne room doors swung open, Maldorir barging inside. "Ardonis, where are you you lit-- --tle..." He halted to a stop, somewhat taken aback, somewhat fearing his sudden bursting in. A red haired, light blue yoshi was seated in the throne, donning a dark blueish vest over his purple undershirt. A pair of belts were worn near his waistline, above a pair of greyish short leggings. Purple boots matched his undershirt, while white bandages spun around tightly and wristguards marked his arms.
He looks back at Maldorir, eyes conceiled behind dark shades, "Looks like the person you're looking for ain't here, Maldorir."
"Lord Sky! What a pleasent surprise! Had I known you were here I'd.."
"Haven't done so? Heh, let me guess, you're upset about our forces twidling their thumbs, right?"
"Well, umm, yeah. I mean, We could take Xenerex or Syllvace at any given time, we have the resources to invest! Why wait while they're concentrating elsewhere?!"
Sky sighed a little, "You see, Maldorir, why do you think they're not looking this way? That's where the emissarries came in. He have time now to take things easier than some, be happy for that."
"By being boxed in? What kind of plan is th--"
"Maldorir. We need to have a serious talk."

"Very well, but they must remain on the defensive" Mosh gazed onwards at the landscape. 2 options remained, to begin splitting the troops 2 ways, one lot to head north, and one lot to head east, or to keep a large number of troops and head one way. Mishi walked beside Toshi,
"Whats our next move boss?" He chuckled
"Hmm... i recommend we split and go our different ways." Seshi eyed the troops with sympathy, a light blue female yoshi who was equipped with a glove on one paw, stars attatched to her waist with a whip in her other paw,
"But Toshi, we're low on food, they won't be able to last out much longer"
"Hmm, so it seems... alright. I've decided, this may be a bit tricky as we're crossing Come territory, the homeland of Theodore Belsebuth..." Toshi looks at the map, pointing out the several owned regions on the map,
"... alright, send my orders to the troops... this is what will happen..."

Jonus sighed and leaned back in his Evil Dark Room chair, weary of the agonizingly detailed nitpicking made by his colleagues, eyes lazily regarding each faceless silhouette as they continued to drone on and on about fiscal policy and international relations. It seemed like each member had their own definitive view of what was to be done, the next member's reports being contrary to the first. The advertisement for muscle therapy caught his attention, quickly bringing himself back into posture as the oligarch to his left just about wrapped up.
"...Furthermore, attempts to replicate the recent discovery a new element by Mantasthia, what they call - and forgive me if I butcher the name - "Niewkarczium," have been unsuccessful up to this point. We believe that the problem is not in the knowledge of radioactive decay but in the engineering, if you would look to form SNM-7 in the packet showing that..."
Jonus groaned softly and stared at the packet, a multicolored monstrosity of cobbled together reports from each person now in the meeting - the types of people who liked to hear themselves talk. At least the international affairs had been understandable. Get in touch with as many nations as possible and try to cement good relations. Simple. Not some jargon-filled fantasy of some mad scientist ready to take complete advantage of anyone willing to hear him ramble about subatomic particles.

Yet another warrior came in to Yoshee's war quarters. "Why do they keep sending different Yoshis?" She queried. She needed to know someone she could trust to carry out the orders.
"We just send whoever's on hand, young General," He replied somewhat humbly. "Somewhat" being she had to pick him up off the floor.
He seemed loyal enough to the leader. "I think we need to give you guys specialized jobs," She decided. "You can be my messenger, to start, I believe."
Yoshee knew she would need someone to send out her orders when she couldn't, so she thought this would be a good enough plan.
"Mind if I call you Mercury?" Mercury, she knew, was the messenger in old legends. Easy enough to remember.
"Whatever the General wishes," He stammered.
Yoshee took her first good look at him. He seemed a bit younger than she was, and he was a very light blue, almost white.
"Okay, then, Mercury. I need you to tell the warriors to purchase two more units of food and recruit more soldiers. Send one of the food units to Area Twenty-five and one to Area Twenty-seven. Also, send one unit of the recruits to each of those areas," the young leader commanded. Mercury bowed and hurried out of the hall.
"And one more thing," She called. Mercury stopped and stood at attention. "Make sure the warriors drill the recruits on the way so they don't die in the first battle they come to," She finished. Mercury nodded and went on his way.
I sure hope this works. If I'm right, Lawlia might be needing assistance in the near future.

Enrique Rzlowieszczyk approached Palikir Dhalriyen's office. "So, how's the project in Cassapia going?"
Dharliyen replied with a hint of relaxation in his voice. "All is still going well, Enrique. We're still outnumbering them."
Enrique smiled. "Very good. You have any more good plans for this battle?"
"We just have to keep pushing," Dhalriyen responded. "You don't know if they're going to retaliate with everything they have or not."
Dhavidek Cieszek enters Dhalriyen's office shortly after Enrique. "Enrique, I'd like to let you know that Cassapia has the ability to expand better than we do. They have the capacity to collect more resources than we do."
"Remember, they're capital is still the most vulnerable. If we can conquer it, they don't have a chance," Dhalriyen reminded Cieszek.
"Good point," Dhavidek responded.
Enrique then started to give out orders. "Palikir, keep persuing Cassapia's capital. If we can exhaust some of their resources, we can win this easily."
"I'm on it, 'Rico." Palikir Dhalriyen sent out another call to Transcitil in a hurry.

"Ardonis, what's your say on the subject?" beckoned the ruler of Alressor, studying the new updated map at his disposal.
"It is clear that our road to expand as come to a halt thanks to Xenerex's advance, eventually, this shall do us great harm. Not only will other kingdoms' expansion keep progressing, their resources shall subsequently grow in measurable size. If we are to have a chance at bringing an end to all this conflict, we must make a move sometime."
"That's sound, I'll give you that, but before doing so, something else needs to be taken care of, internally."
"Maldorir?"
Sky simply nods. "I cannot and will not let him continue going about like he makes the calls. I also fear he may do me harm later on."
"The people would not have it! You're clearly the favourite for the ruling position, not to mention you were the one chosen by..."
"Enough. I heard that over and over. It doesn't mean I can just sit back and let things stir right in front of my nose. As per carrying out your orders, you know what to do, correct?"
"Of course! I shall also make sure everything is packed and ready when the time comes."
"Right, begin now."
"Now?"
"Yeah, now. The moment approaches."

(Sorry Lazo, i edited my previous reply, i've decided to take sector 15)
"Gah! We've been blown wide open! Sector 12 and 13 are under attack... and it seems like we have NO chance of winning against Enrique, and Lazo is hitting hard at sector 13" Soshi reported, panicking at the suprise attacks
"Man... that is just whack that is." Toshi grabs his head as though it is throbbing in pain
"... So what do you suggest we do? Sector 12 is lost, and Sector 13 will be a big downfall too" Mosh replied
"... i really don't know, i never expected ANY of this..." Toshi looked back up
"Some strategist you are" Mishi stared at Toshi, before a yellow hand of a female yoshi slaps him across the face, it was Kyshi, who wore a white cape and an angelic staff
"Let him be! What have YOU done to help?" she yelled angrily
"OW! Hey, i'm just following orders!" Mishi gritted his teeth at her
"Enough will you?! I have a plan that might save ourselves... let the troops at sector 12 hold off the region as much as possible, it's a goner now anyway, but it will slow down Enriques troops, as for the troops of sector 13, tell them to retreat and meet at sector 14 to regroup..." With the orders made, Toshi looked to the grass and prayed
"Lets hope this works..."

The guards open the gates as Yoshiken approaches. Yoshiken bows to them in gratitude and enters the city, and finds Ivan standing right in the center of the road.
"So how was your trip my Lord?" asked Ivan.
Yoshiken replied, "fantastic, Strange will allow me to take the contested region peacefully, on the account that we help him with future battles. I also got word that an emissary was sent to Xenerex to inquire on a troop request. Hopefully that goes well. That region that Strangie is letting us keep is a prime trading zone, and will greatly help us prosper."
Ivan pondered for a moment, "wait, what battles does he plan on having you help him with?"
Yoshiken smiled, "Oh, Im not sure, but we could discuss the matter in the privacy of the castle if you would like..."
Ivan and Yoshiken walked off towards the castle, discussing affairs.

Twi stood on the balcony of the citadel and stared out at the lands to the west. He had just recieved word that Syllvace and Lawilia have averted war and that Syllvace requested troops. Two troops from the capital have been sent already. Twi decided it was time for more troops and to continue north-west to avoid conflict.
He returned inside to the war-room and looked at the map for his next move. To region 5 with more troops. Twi meerly had to look at Locusq and the troops were on the move. Twi looked at the conflict and the strugling Cassapia. Neuropa was beginning to mass and it made Twi fearful. There is going to be a big war soon.

Not much to report today, war was averted for Xenerex which is a relief really, not ready to fight yet.
Troops are fairly content, recieved word the two troops sent to Syllvace have had weird looks, must be the cold gruel. I sent the troops an oven repair kit, they can do it themselves.

Law stared Namey in the face. "You WHAT?!"
Namey waved his fins in defense. "Ah, ah, just wait. You'll see what's happening soon..."
Law huffed and walked off. "Hmph. Now we're cut off. What kind of fools do we hire these days!?" he yelled, throwing his hands up in the air. "What are we going to do now, plow through the south? After the agreements?! BAH!"
Strangie walked by Namey, watching Law leave. "What crawled up his butt and died?"
Namey looked up at him. "Nothing, don't worry about it. He said to hold our resources for now until the next day, and shift some troops back to other areas for defense. We're heading in another direction..."
"He did? Well, alright..." Strangie walked off, a bit confused, but he went with it anyway.

Mercury was now back in the hall, where Yoshee was examining the map.
"...Unless Neuropa wants to give us a free way across their country, we're cut off," She noticed. Mercury merely nodded nervously.
"Young General, what do we do now?" He asked fearfully.
We have enough wealth to support ourselves, but I'm not sure how we'd get rid of enemies when we're not even close to them. I suppose we should just sit tight for the moment as Neuropa seems to be having some trouble.
"Mercury," She began. "I need a few more staff around here. Gather the best warriors you can find now, okay? And order more troops to Area Twenty-five."
Mercury nodded and slipped out of the hall without another word.
His nervousness is starting to catch, Yoshee bit her lip and glanced at the map again.

Palikir Dhalriyen entered Enrique Rzlowieszczyk's office with a smile. "You're not going to believe this, Enrique. Toshi is giving up."
Wide-eyed, Enrique started to chuckle. "Are you serious? He's giving up... on his capital?!"
"That's right, Enrique," Dhalriyen replied. "But now's not the time to just bust out the bubbly. Neuropa has just taken the area east of the Cassapian capital, and I highly doubt Lazo is going to pull off what Toshi did."
"Do you think we'll have time to pick off Come as well?" Enrique asked.
"We should," Dhalriyen responded. "They don't seem to be doing anything to help their cause at the moment."
Enrique nodded. "Well, we should secure the soon-to-be former Cassapian capital first, then we'll start thinking about Come."
Dhalriyen pondered this for a moment. "I think that would be a good idea. Let's see how this plays out first."

"Right, the troops have retreated to sector 14, Toshi, and it seems like our capital is now gone too." Soshi reported. Toshi nods in agreement, but he didn't actually seem very worried of the loss
"It is alright... the capital may be lost, but we still must soldier on!"
"True, but we've been hit pretty hard, it looks like we're not gonna manage to carry on at this rate" Mosh glanced to Toshi with a bit of concern upon his face
"Maybe, but i have no choice but to do so." Toshi checked the map
"... can i suggest something?" Seshi had spoken
"Go ahead." Toshi nodded
"Why don't we make our move northwest? Keep our troops here at sector 15, i heard that Twi of Xenerex is heading over this way" Seshi pointed at the map the direction the Xenerex region were moving
"... Yeah, i think that could work. Alright, let's do that."

Vehementa walked away from the Citadel towards the barracks. Looking in she saw the troops larking about and generally doing nothing. She sighed at the lack of discipline with grunts had and left to go back to the citadel.
Back in the war-room Locusq and Twi were dicussing matters arising about the northwest. They decided northwards was the way to go to expand their army. With the loss of two men to help Syllvace they had to buy more troops.

Not much to report, trained more soldiers and bought food rations. Continuing conquest.
The oven was fixed finally, though it then exploded and killed the chef. That means we're hiring chefs. I've made an advert but I dunno if anyone pays attention.
