Soul has had many fights with people on the board. You'd be surprised norb. Still, I'm taking a neutral stance because I just don't like to be against people all the time. Although, I will mention his decision in the email I'm preparing to send him, that he made a very silly mistake, for such a small thing, ie, the community giving it's opinion.
No doubt he'll be here again soon to find out whats happened since. I think we should all just back off on the "omfg! soul = bad!" attitude. It only makes us look just as bad.

Because he pretty much silenced us if we spoke out against him. Really, if you had been here since the beggining...man, our tally is at around about WW7, hahah. :P Heh, you might be right, but if a whole community dislike something in a person, why didn't you unite your forces, and tell him the truth about your feelings? You know, like a 'revolutióóón', haha... 1% can't beat the rest... I just like the good ol' coding. How sad... ˇˇ (I get sick of these 'create a skin lolz!' stupid interfaces, I must say) HohhHOOO... and it WORKS! Thanks! At least now I know that, you can put the <link> tag between the body area as well (I thought that only works between the head tags, hehe... dunno why :P) |

... And? He can't ban everybody, only if he wants to chit-chat with hisself... (plus, as I know, Timyoshi and Yoshiken had admin powers too, and two admins more than one, haHA!)

Naw, a mutany wouldn't have worked...as far as he was concerned, he ran this place (when he cared, apparently...he only came on from time to time to enforce his ridiculous self-indulgent rules) and if anyone spoke out against his views, he would play the 'I'm admin of here and R owner of YoshiArt' card. He threatened to disaffiliate from here before, too, if I remember correctly. More than once. I'm lovin' how he thinks he can start a 'new' board by ripping topics from here. Pure lulz goldmine.  Yeah, mmm, banination...I was banned for the injustice of wanting to have my gallery removed from his site. Go go Martyr powers! So long as he never blesses us with his presence again, its all gravy. Although I'm sure he'll love lurking here...mmm. Outcast. |

And I was banned for sticking up for Koshi in private communications off the board. Then to add icing to the cake, removed my credit to the SMW episodes I willing provided him and threatened to edit out my name from the encoded episodes all together.
But you're right, that's all in the past now. Just saying that people aren't saying bad things about him merely for the sake of it or to jump on a band wagon. People do have their reasons for being glad to see the back of him.

Changing the layout only changes colours, widths, heights of things. It doesn't modify the forums, topics or posts in any way. Timyoshi, could I have an answer to my question at the end of 'Messing with the boards features'?I just need to know if I can reveal my plan as to how the forum will bustle once more with lots of artistic talent. |

I don't think it's just the banner dispute. Apparently Soul has had a long history of arguments and conflict with the members of this board. Many topics he's posted in have ended up in arguments. Maybe he feels that his vision is incompatable with everyone else's, the banner thread was the final, breaking event.

...May I request that the gradient background be done away with? My old relic of a computer can't quite handle it. It takes it about a half a second to perform such a complex action as scrolling down a few lines.

Okay, even though I don't visit as much as I used to, I still remember the days I had arguments with Soul. However, I thought he had changed. I was obviously wrong. All I can say now, is the worst is over, and hopefully, things can only go up from here.  |

Hey Tim, how are we going to get the message out to everyone? I know alot of people are here, but I didn't even know YC was still around until PFY gave me the link, I though it was just erased. I can tell my friends over MSN, but that still leaves a majority of people unaware like I was. Oh, I agree with Tempest, now that we don't have to be a part of his site anymore, things can only improve!
