Ok guys I'm sure you read souls thread and pretty much gonna put my foot down now..I know this skin sucks but in a few days I'll have a new one up for you guys soon^^ I promise =3. What i need you guys to do is just hang tight plz. It's very important..Tommorw the board will be inaccesiable for no more than a two days...to get things straight again =). Ok guys take care and prepare for the New YC =)

Hm... first of all: I GLADLY help you in the new design! If you want, I mean. I just like to design sites, heh :P Anyway, since I even can't read that blue text without highlight 'em, the situation about the design must be solved as fast as possible... LEVEL UP ! !
I just need to find out how can a person design a forum like this proboard... *registers one for hisself for a test*
Hmph, and yeah, that is really strange Soul cutted the affiliation between YC and yoshiart.com. For first, I thought it just moved or such a thing (everybody sleepy in the morning, heheh), but as I see now, it's more serious thing than that. Erm...

Obviously heavily influences deriving from Yoshi's Corner can easily be seen; influences which have developed from people such as ourselves and not him alone. Come on, he copied it blatantly as to see "Other Art" and "Other Fan Fics" underneath the "General" Category, yet things such as "Pokemon" and "Role-Playing" are under the "Fan Stuff" category. |

Damn, beaten to it, hahah.  Mhmm...its not like this wasn't going to happen anytime sooner. Soul has a tendancy to round up as much fan art/submissions/work as he can, and then give peanuts in return. If that, even. Hes refused to take down work at the authors' discretion, and as soon as something isn't what he wants it to be, he throws his toys out the pram. Although I must say he surely wins the intarweb for creating a new forum - because teh wished Timyoshi a happy birthday. Dramaramaphone!  Remember kids: The internet - SERIOUS BUSINESS. |

His board is made by YaBB, Proboards and Hyperboards is YaBB clone, I think, but maybe YaBB is Proboards and Hyperboards clone!

My way or the Highway, huh. Good job I took that travel pill then. The only thing I'll miss is the hypocrisy that was so... hypocrictical it was funny. Well, sometimes funny and sometimes so infinetly depressing. Soul's only going to shoot himself in the foot. He always banged on about n00bs etc and the fact is, that's pretty much all he's going to get at his own boards having alienated most of the core vets who define what YC really was. |

Err... I don't know, but I never saw a negative comment about Soul on this board until this event, and now everybody on that "...and i nevar liked HIM, DUH!" opinion, no? Heh, funny... but since Soul didn't 'hurt' me (or I just don't remember to it), I rather take my 'neutral' position, as usual. Be objective, or what... y'know, erk...
Everybody have habits; some people like to keep all the things in his or her own hands, and some like to act as a... StUPIdH n00ooB!!4444 all the way... lolz.

By the way, I taken a look at the admin / "customise skin" interface of these proboards, and... it's... not too great. I mean, is there any chance to use an own CCS style-sheet on these boards? Just wondering... (if someone knows, please me how. Thank you)

Because he pretty much silenced us if we spoke out against him. Really, if you had been here since the beggining...man, our tally is at around about WW7, hahah. Yeah, I know what you mean. It is very simplistic, and I still can't find where I can replace the headers to gradient images. I'm only used to Invisionfree, bah. (I think Norby should be in charge of skinning...he makes kickass proffesional layouts, and I'm not exactly doing a great job, except at blinding people. ) |
