New York? Who knows...I STILL freak out thinking about going on a plane. Plus my parents are also overprotective. And who knows, I might have chores. Odds are high since Alison's gone. ...I MEAN VELVET T.!!

May I suggest that it would probably be an idea to make a Members Only forum to deal with this topic? That is, if its really as huge as it seems. Then you might be abe to deal with the questions in a more...how you say...organized manner?
I would think that everyone saving up for their own travel cost is a good idea...but the problem comes in when you take the placement into consideration. Such as, some people it would only cost $10 for petrol to get to NYC. Others, £700 to get over in a plane. Thats where I think theres a bit of a problem. I'm all for 'paying-your-own-way', but it seems just a tad unfair if the differences in payment are that huge.
So I guess my point is...instead of raising money to pay for everyone, just a simple type of money-aid could be established for those who have extremely large payments to make for travelling.
But I don't know, I'm just throwing out ideas here.
I also forgot - you're legal to travel via air at the age of 12, but its up to parents/guardians to decide whether you do ultimately or not. I'm 16, my mum would allow me to fly on my own, although I would still be unsure unless there was someone meeting me on the other end.

That's down to each airlines discretion. Some won't allow people under 16 to travel alone under any circumstances. So that's something to have checked out in advance.

hmmmm...i like your idea Koshi, establishing a money-aid for the individuals who have to pay much more than others.

A week can fly by when you're having fun.

5-7 days sounds good. But which one? 5,6, or 7? lol
oh btw about commisions. Do you think I could get a decent amount of money if I sent in a bucket load of pics? If I can I might be able to help with the funding a little.
But what should I use for commisions? Paypal? (i've never done commisions before)

I don't think quantiy is a replacement for quality, Yoshi4ever. We need to open a thread where people can request commissions from certain artists, and see if that artist accepts or not.

awesome idea Tempest, we will start that after we get the actual idea all sorted out all sorted out, ok se we have the destination and the time sorted out....now...what next...well, i will go look for another donation site other than PayPal. (because Soul was right, i researched a lot on PayPal and its not very reliable)
Edit: there is still the problem of where we will be staying, if it is a hotel then the cost of the trip will be much, much more, but where else could we stay?

i'm not replacing quanity with quality though. It would probly take a few months for me to get a deacent amount of good pics.
But if no one here lives in ny then i don't see any other place to stay but hotels

Wow, Payswiss looks cool. And it's cool to say that.
"Let's pay it from our... Swiss Bank Account." XDD I'm all up for it. Let's start the account and get these commissions rolling.
