Every week the number is higher.Wait 55 weeks to get deoxys,100 weeks to get Jirachi.I don't know if it's true or not,but whatever.

to get jirachi you use the bonus disc
and to get deoxys, you travel to one of the islands in fire red or leaf green version.
what number? where does it say this number? im pretty sure the only offical way to get jirachi (or deoxys) transphered into your game pack is by using the bonus disc, or traveling (for deoxys.)

Wikipedia:  Currently one can obtain Jirachi in one of several different ways. One can go to a Pokémon Center in New York City, Osaka, Tokyo or any of the additional centers in Japan. A special machine transfers a randomly selected Pokémon with a 1 in 1000 chance of receiving Jirachi. Recently the Pokémon Centers have restricted use of the machines to special events - most recently at the New York Pokémon Center. If players had pre-ordered the game Pokémon Colosseum by February 9, 2004, they received a bonus disk that then allowed them to download Jirachi into their Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire games. By downloading Jirachi in this fashion, players can also fix a glitch in the Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire games. Nintendo says that doing this "grants to possessors permanently fertile berry gardens, making it easier to create Pokéblocks". In Europe and Australia, Jirachi comes included with Pokémon Channel, and players can download it to the game after completing Channel. The Berry Fix mentioned above also comes included here. One can alternatively obtain this Pokémon by use of a Gameshark or Action Replay, game-cheating devices. Nintendo discourages this unofficial method. Some members of the Pokémon community also consider this method in poor taste and often do not regard the "sharked" Jirachi as authentic. |

you can get the eon ticket, it was handed out mabye like a year ago. if you have the e-reader and the eon ticket, you can travel to an island, and catch the other legendary bird. luckly i have one somewhere...

Read this Carefully!!!
In sapphire version, in the intro, Latias flying over me, in Ruby, in the intro, Latios flying over me. But when i read on serebii.net, i have seen this:
In a hidden insland somewhere, go to a stone or something, and a legendary pkmn will appear. If sapphire, Latios appear, if Ruby, Latias appear.
Whats that mean?! it is a cheat or something?
Because I only have catach Latas on sapphire, and Latios in ruby, but on serebii.net, it's not the same. sapphire = latios, ruby = latias. Isn't that wrong?!?!
please tell me!

well, for the answer to your first question jayshi, if you pick one of the 3 "starters" lets call them, you will get the other two nearing the end of the game.
for the last three of your questions...there really isnt a "best." you have to know how to play, have a stratagy, and a viritey of different types and moves. there are certain combos that may help you though, for example. lets say you have a ivysaur, and on the first turn you use sunny day. the next turn, you can use solar beam without charging up. (normally, you would have to wait an additional turn to use solar beam, but with sunny day on the feild, you wont have to wait.) other combos are raindance - thunder, defence curl - rollout etc.
i can help you catch entei. use pokemon which infect stats alignments such as sleep and confusion. putting entei asleep will greatly help you catch him. its best though to damage him at the point where you would normally catch a pokemon, then say goodnight. make sure you use attacks that match his weakspot, but also make sure you dont kill him.
the only other help would be to pick up a colleseum guide at a book store which shows you how one person beat the game. i find these very specific, and boring. remember though, there are no wrong ways to do things.
the begining screen means nothing. the hidden island somewhere probably is the island you can acess when you get the eon ticket. this is not a cheat, but to get an eon ticket (an e-reader card) is a feat in itself.
latias does only appear in saphire, but if you somehow manage to get an eon ticket, you can travel to that secret island to get latios. this is reversed from ruby. its really hard to explain, i hope you understand.
