~Dawn of Darkness RP~

"Hey Red! Take this!" I threw the fire breathing scroll to him. "Maybe this can get you across the gap if you aim it at the floor."

[red.yoshi]

Red didn't think as he caught the scroll and thought of its powers. Instantly he gained fire breathing capabilities as the scroll crumbled to ash. The floor seems too far down. . . He thought to himself. But maybe. . . Red aimed for the wall of the other platform behind him on an angle, and let a roar of flames erupt from his mouth. The impact of the flame sent him zooming past Shy Guy, skidding on random tiles. "We've got to get to Liko!" shouted red as he hopped to his feet, and started running to the island where she was held.

Just then, Buu came up behind me. "What's going on?" She asked. I jumped on her back. "No time to explain, we need to get over to Liko." Buu didn't question it, she just started following Red.

Red's feet treaded rock which started to crumble away beneath his feet. He grunted, and breathed a bolt of fire to propel him through the air. He zoomed across the crumbling strip, and then over the gap separating the two isles. He landed, as not very agile as he wanted to be, and his arms waved out behind him as he teetered on one foot over the edge. He almost fell back, but Liko's steady fingers met his flailing ones. She pulled him onto the platform, and for a split second, they stared into each other's eyes with compassion. Red thought he had mistaken Liko's compassion as she broke free, and ran across the crumbling tiles, pulling him along as he was too shocked to bend a joint.

Buu stopped as the ground in front of us started breaking down. I got off, and we turned in the opposite direction and started to run. We took a huge leap and ended up on a five feet wide ledge. I could barley see Red and Liko on the other side of the room. I turned to Buu, "You alright?" She caught her breath and answered, "Yeah, I'm fine. But we're stuck here. And I don't think this can hold us forever." I looked around. The closest body of land was about 20 yards away. I sighed, "Looks like I'll have to eat you." Buu gave me a bored look and facepalmed.

Red managed to snap his head back as he was behind dragged by Liko. He spotted Shy Guy, as big as his little finger on the opposite side of the island. He noticed the platform they were on started to slant. Liko shrieked. Red jammed his fingers between two tiles, and tried to hold onto her so they would not slide into the dark mouth below. Neither of them didn't know what was down there awaiting them. It was also no use to fire a breath of fire as it would evaporate before it reached that far. "Liko. . ." red said, gulping. "I. . .I. . .I can't hold on much longer. . ." She shivered. Red's fingers began slipping. "Liko. . .I. . ."

I noticed Liko and Red had disappeared. "Do you think they fell down a pit!?" I asked nervously. Buu grabbed me, and held me above her head. "What are you doing?" I asked. She closed one eye and stuck her tounge out. Buu was aiming at something. It didn't take me long to find out I was about to be launched. "Hey wait-" I stammered. She lunged her arms forward. "Why is everybody throwing meeeeeeeeeee....?" I flew through the air, but had only been thrown about 15 yards away. I held on to a little island. It was closer to the bigger peices of land. I hopped over them until I saw two red objects. "Red, Liko, hang on!" I yelled, I started dashing towards them as fast as I could. Everything was a blur. I'm not going to make it, I thought.

Then I noticed as I proceeded, the land was tilting. My feet started to slip on the rocky floor. I saw Liko and Red below, I wasn't sure if they noticed me. "Hey you guys, are you alright?"

Red looked up at Shy Guy. "Shy Guy!!!" Liko extended her arm as Shy Guy fell, and caught him. It was too much weight however, and red's fingers slipped. The group skidded down into the dark cavern below.

It was dark, so very dark. But the sound of rushing water was heard from somewhere. Red had woken from unconsciousness. He had hit his head. He felt around him, but nothing. "Is everyone okay?" He muttered as he rubbed his throbbing head.

I sat up. "Yeah, I'm good. I should lay off the junk food, huh?" I rubbed my head, it was aching. I opened my eyes, and saw nothing. "Oh no, I'm blind!!" Then my eyes adjusted to the darkness. "Oh."

(Ya think Mario should make a small appearance at the end of the RP?)

(It would be a nice touch =). Maybe we could have him help us fight the final Bowser.)

"Its a large cavern!" said red as he got to his feet, and helped Liko to hers. It was a large, dome shaped room. From the center to another large cave was completely flooded. Red started walking to the long of the room with Liko, and noticed a dock. He ran to the dock, noticing a small wooden boat bouncing gracefully upon the water's edge. "Shall we?" asked red, particularly speaking to Liko. He made a hand motion to Shy Guy as he helped Liko in. "Since we can't get back out, we need to keep moving."

I started into the boat. It wasn't too big, but it was enough to hold us. Suddenly, I heard a bark behind us. I turned around to see the same dog that helped us get to the village. "Hey, how do think he got down here?" I asked. I looked at his spiked collar as it came over, it read "Poochy".

Liko aww'd at Poochy. "He's so cute!" she said as she hopped out of the boat to go and pet him. Red stayed in the boat and waited. "Do you think he could help us?" asked red.

I shrugged. "What good could he do?" Then I noticed it sniffing on the ground. It shoved its paws into the dirt and created a small hole. He pulled out a bone of something that was dead. "Hey, maybe he can tell us which to go on the boat to fresh air." I jumped out the boat and went over to him. "Help me get him in the boat."

Red jumped out too. Lifting Poochy wasn't as tough for him due to his large size. He helped Poochy into the boat, but there was a problem. No oars. "Hmm. . ." thought red as he looked around for something to use. He discovered the dock. He reached over and tore two wooden boards off from it. "These should do!" He sat at the head of the boat, waiting for everyone to get in.

I hopped back into the boat, and took one of the "man-made" oars. "Do ya guys think Buu will come down to get us?" I asked, getting ready to steer the boat

"Want me to go and find her?" Asked red as he began to step out of the boat.

"Sure." I said. I cupped my hands and tasted the water. It was pure, but a little dirty from the rocks and stuff. "But how are you going to get back up there?"

[red.yoshi]

Red thought to himself. "Maybe I could cup my hands and call her." He ran to the edge of where the tunnel had slanted. "Buu? Are you up there? Can you here me?" Liko was busy scratching behind Poochy's ears to notice anything going on.

I watched Red call Buu while lying down in the boat. It was quiet for a while, but after a minute or two, a scream could be heard getting louder, and Buu slid out from the darkness. She landed on her tail bone(literally). She got up and looked around. "So that's why you guys had dissapeared." Buu noticed Poochy. "What's that thing?"

"What do you mean by 'thing'?" I asked. "This dog is cool. I bet it can walk on yellow spikes and stuff." Buu shook her head. "Doubt it."

Red smiled and boarded the boat after Buu insisting "Ladies first." "Is everyone ready?" asked Red as he took an ore and resumed his position at the head of the boat.
