Unfortunately, today is the 8th of Feb for me. But for most of you guys it's still the 7th. So tomorrow I might not be able to make it as I have SES training night.

I was wondering if folks here would be willing to tell us why they were absent? I'm not trying to pin blame on anyone - I'm just curious because I want to help make the meetings work better for everyone. So far, my two theories are that either everyone forgot there was a meeting, or that everyone was busy (I do know Pink was out of town at the time).

Sorry, school's been a drag. During last tuesday's meeting, I was taking an exam and didn't finish until around 3:30, and then mibbit wouldn't connect, so I gave up.

Yesterday was just a "my bad". I completely forgot about it after a long day. I'll try to make next Tuesday's meeting, but I have another exam on Friday so I don't know if I an attend that one.

I came home from Albany for winter break yesterday. We decided to go out to dinner as a result of a combination of that and the fact that my mom had probably the worst work day in quite a while. Not only did I miss the Friday shindig, but the start of the Blues-Sabres game (by the way, dudes, can you have a more pathetic two games in a row at home?).

However, I should be able to make Tuesday's shindig, considering I don't have a Thermodynamics class to go to next week.

Kurtis and I went to a friend's house for a SmashFest, so I guess that counts as busy. And I had already mentioned to Blitzzo beforehand that I probably wasn't going to be there anyway.

But we're usually not very busy on Fridays, so the regularly scheduled time is still fine by us.

To be honest, I just kind of forgot. The last meeting I attended seemed awfully unfruitful besides the establishment of the new forum space.

After the forum created, I got the "don't push me, let me work on it until it's ready to boot" impression from PFY. Since then I was kinda just feeling that I'd leave it up to you guys since anything that I'd suggest (for the new forum) would just be responded with "I'm working on it" or "Yeah, that'll be implemented soon." Bringing the forum into play added a whole new dimension of things to elaborate on and consider, and I'm hoping that, while yes, it should be worked and needs lots of effort, that our prime focus to Revive YC and draw in members isn't centered upon decorating a new forum, or holding a biweekly chat do discuss such endeavors.

Since we have the new forum, wouldn't be equally or even more efficient to just have a whole board or maybe even a thread established for suggestions on improvements?

It seems like we've lost some of our steam lately. I strongly encourage everyone to try and join the meeting on Friday, as we are nowhere near finished with the new site, even with the new forums in a functional state. It doesn't matter what your skill set is. I'd like to think that everyone here has something they can contribute to the site.
