pokemon vs. yoshi

Well, yoshi also has no moves in defence. In my opion, yoshi won't be much of a oponet to a Charizard, Golduck, Kangashkan, Rydon and the big fella's. He can most certainly take a pikachu, rattata, and small foes or a a bit taller.

Here's my two cents:

Pokemon have powers,

Yoshies are considered the 'hero's' in games that feature them.

And for the second cent:

I read an article that Yoshi was NEARLY made into a Poke'mon, but Nintendo decided against it. Imagine! Poke'mon Corner!!

Yoshi is (no offence) to me much cooler than poke' mon. In fact- I wouldn't like Yoshi if he was a poke' mon. He's so cute and innocent!

Yeah, he (no offence) goes round KILLING, not fainting, BUT KILLING things, while pokemon faint , not to die, but for victory and honor they fight. Now who is cute and innocent?

fainting is just plain stupid,yoshi doesn't kill,he KO's enemies and they turn to star dust or fall of the screen,not to mention he does it to protect people and doesn't lash out like pokemon does.

the fainting thing is one of the reasons I hate pokemon, games like Alice and final fantasy are more enjoyable because you get the feeling of happyness that the foe won't bother you any more.

oh yea, i see magickarps go around the city every day terriorizing people. thats what they love to do. yoshis so innocent, whenever he sees a jolly koopa troopa or a coupple of goombas playing, he just goes right ahead and pats them on the back. (oh and btw, yoshi is a boy. the only female yoshis are those made up by charaters. birdo is the yoshi female counter type.)

im so sick of this - im starting a list. it is my opinion only, but parts of it should be very accurate. feel free to add to this.

bulbasaur < yoshi
yoshi might have a little edge do to his height. bulbasaur can whip yoshi into shape with vine whip, and put him to sleep or poision him whith posion or sleep powder. leatch seed is also a good attack. bulbasaur can be beaten quite easily with attakcs such as yoshis egg throw, stomp, and defanatly fire breath.

ivysaur = yoshi
ivysaur is a slightly bigger version of bulbasaur. ivysaurs attacks are slightly stronger, but not at their maximum capibilitys yet. ivysaur has a higher defence, so fire breath should be one of the only main weaknesses.

venasaur > yoshi
venasaur is one of the most powerful pokemon in the game. solar beam could be used to knock yoshi far into the outzone. even a flame breath attack wont do much to this tank. venasaur is also quite large, and therefore cannot be swallowed easily. venasaurs attack styles are quite ballenced too. sunny day can be used and solar beam will work without waiting to be charged. keep in mind that this also upgrades yoshis firebreath. attacks like razor leaf and vine whip now do thier maximum damage.

charmander < yoshi
charmander and yoshi are about the same size. charmander, with his cuteness, would try to make friends with yoshi, but yoshi would hit him hard with a tail whip. yoshiwould then eat charmader whole, and then poop him out as a burning egg. charmaders attacks arent all that great - they are very weak, and theres not many ranged attacks that charmander can use. charmanders probably best attack in this case is rage, as long as charmander uses this, and yoshi keeps hitting him, and charmander dosent die, rage builds up, and charmander might be able to over power yoshi. charmander wouldnt even think of doing that though because he wants to be friends with many of the people he meets.

keep adding if you want. try to list the pokemon in order = P.

also, notice theres only one yoshi (control) and many pokemon (variables.)

If your sick of it, son't add to the argument. also red yoshi wouldn't walk up to a goomba and koopa and pat them on the back,he would leave them to do their buisness. What do you mean by one yoshi, unknown said yoshis,meaning she(assuption) ment more then one.

Charmeleon
Alright, Charmeleon and Yoshi can be about the same size. Charmeleon is stronger and Flamethrower can do quite some damage to a Yoshi and slash. None of yoshies moves can be really good agenst this guy. So he wins hands down.

Charizard
Charizard is veary, veary, veary strong. Blast burn will kill a yoshi in one hit, even Flamethrower. He can also fly to dodge all of yoshies attacks and hit him hard!

yea, but charizards flame can get very large, and it is hard to diminish. yoshi is charmanders weakness..(poor charmander ; ; )

squirlte < yoshi
squirtle and yoshi are mostly matched, yoshis size, and height puts yoshi on the winning edge. if they where both the same size and height, they could probably keep up a pretty long battle, but yoshi would still probably be the victor since squirtles attacks cant be used at their maximum yet.

wartortle < yoshi
wartortle may not be the same height as yoshi, but he can still pack a powerful punch. this is probably a ballenced group except yoshis taller and wider then wartortle making wartortle a free shot for being swallowed. attacks like stop, and egg thows will have no effect on this armored pokemon since he has a shell on his back he can hide into.

blastoise > yoshi

blastoise is a large turtle meaning he can't be eaten like venasaur can't either, also blastosie's pumps fire very pressurised blasts,which could brutalize anything

pidgey is weak for it's the first form and probably isn't fast enough to escape the tounge

pidgiot = yoshi
it's faster then it's first form,but yoshi can still keep up but this bird packs a small punch,so can yoshi

it's a big bird,and very fast,yoshi would get tired,thats how fast it is

I like this idea,people just be fair no one siders
